A chat with Kenjaku

"Nice to meet you." The woman smiled.

"Toji Zen'in"

________________________________________

Looking at the woman infront of him Toji smiled.

"I believe this is the first time we've met haven't we, Kenjaku?"

Upon hearing this the woman's eyes widened visibly before a smile slowly appeared on her face.

"Hoh. You already know my name, do you ? Are you stalking little old precious me ?" Kenjaku struck a heart pose with her tongue sticking out.

"..."

"You do know.... You're more than a thousand years old right?"

Kenjaku pouted before saying.

"Tch. This is what I don't like about men. They don't know basic ma-"

"Why are you here?" Toji wrapped his fingers around Kenjaku's neck tightly. Moving from his position nearly instantaneously, he lifted her off the ground by her neck.

"C-cough now now, that isn't how you treat a woman is it ?" Kenjaku clawed at the arm holding her in the air.

Seeing Kenjaku's antics, veins popped up on Toji's head.

"Kenjaku... You're ruining my mood. Get out of here while you still can."

'Kenjaku didn't try to resist, so it looks like he isn't here to fight at least... Interesting.'

Kenjaku dropped to the ground and inhaled, gasping for air.

"Didn't expect you to be so hostile on our first meeting. You sure don't have a good impression of me."

Toji who sat back on the sofa looked down upon Kenjaku.

"Sigh. Just get to the point, I'm tired of babysitting." Toji snapped his hands, just then hundreds of black-coloured weapons surrounded Kenjaku from all sides.

Bows, spears, katanas, longswords, axes, maces, and rapiers all formed a cluster of dark energy around Kenjaku.

Just as the weapons were about to crash into Kenjaku they were met with an invisible and impenetrable barrier.

'Hoh? He has everything ... superhuman abilities, a cursed technique that allows him to create infinite amounts of dark constructs and he has the ability to negate any cursed technique. What an interesting specimen. He even defeated this era's six eyes user.'

'A person like this... He shouldn't exist. At least not in this era.'

Kenjaku licked her lips at the amount of entertainment Toji could provide.

"Now now Toji-san, I think you already know that other than Tengen, I'm the second strongest barrier user. Trying to penetrate this barrier while holding back is a fool's errand."

Kenjaku laughed before making her way to Toji sitting opposite to him on the sofa.

'Oh, how I wish I could punch this guy's face into the ground.' Toji barely held his poker face.

'But that would be boring..... He deserves a death worse than that.' Toji's demeanor returned to being stoic.

"Toji-san.... Don't you think we have a lot in common?"

"Interesting words to say to a 16-year-old when you're a shape-shifting, body swapping, more than thousand year old man don't you think?" Toji smiled at Kenjaku.

"Hmmmmm. Fair point hahaha." Kenjaku chuckled before her face suddenly turned serious.

"But I know a dead man walking when I see one... You, you're just like me seeking entertainment in this miserable world..... Trying to find a purpose in your miserable life."

"..." Toji's expressions remained unchanged at Kenjaku's words.

"It's fine if you don't wanna talk about it frankly. But it really is interesting... Your mannerisms, you act like you're a grandpa, even more so than me haha."

At the mention of that finally a vein popped up on Toji's head.

"Anyways I came here to ask you a question."

"What"

"You have something that I need. I think that you can already guess what I mean, right ?" Kenjaku smiled.

"Sukuna's fingers you mean?"

"Heh, you're right. I don't know what you're trying to do or how you know the location of the 6 fingers in your possession but how about you give them to me?" Kenjaku winked at Toji.

"And why should I? Collecting them is pretty fun."

"Well then I can offer you any price you want... Money? Techniques? Cursed weapons or m-my body." Kenjaku dropped her head down in shyness.

'annoying this kid is so fun-'

At the middle of her thought she noticed a liquid trickling down her neck.

'My ear.....But how?' Instead of being scared at the gruesome sight as blood poured out of her ear and fallen earlobe, her eyes sparkled with interest.

"Don't waste my time... Or else I'll kill you right here"

'Tch... If I didn't need her for information I would have killed her already.'

"Fine then....what do you want?"

"Just follow the timelin- I mean keep doing what you're doing."

Question marks started popping up on top of Kenjaku's head.

"You mean I should keep making babies with Jin itad-

"I hate you with a burning passion."

"Tee-hee."

" Sigh. Just keep on marking non-sorcerers with cursed objects... I know what you're trying to do, keep on doing it."

"Heh...haha-HAHAHHAHAAHA YOU UNDERSTAND ME? THE WORLD I'M TRYING TO CREATE? THE HEIAN ERA WAS THE PEAK OF JUJUTSU SORCERERY, WHY SHOULD IT DIE OFF? IT WILL BE REBORN ONCE AGAIN, A WORLD WHERE THE STRONG THRIVE AND THEN NON-SORCEROR MONKIES DIE HAHAHAHA."

"Ahem- I just got a bit too excited... A few hundred years of boredom does something to a man."

Suddenly Kenjaku's eyes widened with realization.

'how did he know about my plan? I made sure nobody noticed it until now.' Kenjaku glared at Toji suspiciously.

"The disaster grade cursed spirit, Mahito... I need him in the future."

Hearing this for the first time a frown appeared on Kenjaku's face.

"You do know that for creating a perfect world, his cursed technique is necessary, right?"

"Hoh. I'm not saying now... Don't worry you can give him to me after you're done using him over and over."

"Wait wait wait don't you think that's a bit too unfair? All my years of planning and you just want to ruin it?"

"..."

By now Toji had reached his boiling point. Just as he was about to kill kenjaku a thought struck his mind.

'Geto shouldn't hear this. Even if he's in a semi-unconcious state he might still be able to hear this.'

"Bring your ear here old man." Toji gestured at Kenjaku to come near him.

"Huh? Fine." Kenjaku brought over her ear to Toji's mouth.

Toji then continued to whisper into Kenjaku's ear, in the duration of 5 minutes, the expression on Kenjaku's face went through a rollercoaster.

"All that death and chaos... What an amazing idea. Why didn't I think of that before." Kenjaku lay deep in thought.

'I can't just tell him that the culling games were his future version's idea... Not that it matters.'

"You understood that? What do you think?"

Kenjaku gave a thumbs up in reaction.

"What an amazing idea! You deserve a Nobel prize or whatever these humans call it. But don't you think you deserve a reward?" Kenjaku's eyes lit up seductively.

Unexpectedly at super-sonic speeds, kenjaku's lips crashed against Toji's cheek.

Toji's eyes darkened.

'I've had enough.'

Toji's hands that had been resting on the sofa disappeared in an instant, violently slamming into the sides of Kenjaku's head with a sickening crunch. The force was so intense that it sounded like a cannon shot echoing through the room.

Kenjaku's head erupted in a fountain of blood and brain matter, spraying the surroundings with chunks of skull and tissue. His eyes bulged grotesquely from their sockets, hanging by tattered shreds of flesh.

A deep, jagged wound split his head open, revealing the shattered remnants of his skull.

The air filled with the metallic tang of blood and the sickly-sweet scent of death as the gruesome aftermath settled around the room.

But then something strange happened. The body of kenjaku slowly melted away before it evaporated into the air leaving behind a mannequin.

"..."

"Just as I thought, Kenjaku wouldn't come with his real body."

'I hate my life. I still have to babysit this guy.'

Toji looked over at the unconscious body of Geto which seemingly succeeded in absorbing the Minamata disease.

"Haaaaah whatever I'm going back to reading."

Toji took out one of his favorite magazines from his purple blob, it read,

Playboy magazine 1972.

An abandoned house sat nestled among the trees, its presence unassuming yet palpable. Its paint faded and its shutters askew.

Approaching closer, one could see the remnants of a once-loved garden, now overrun with wildflowers and tangled vines. A child's bicycle lay forgotten on the front porch, its wheels coated in a thin layer of rust.

Inside, the air was cool and musty, sunlight coming through the dusty windows, casting sunlight on the floor. A few animal bones were lying around, a reminder of the age of the house.

At the same time, Kenjaku was sleeping on the dilapidated bed in the middle of the house.

Suddenly his eyes flew open, having awoken from his slumber.

"Toji Zen'in... you prove to be more formidable then Gojo Satoru."

As Kenjaku thought about Toji's words, saliva started dripping down his face.

"This might be one of the most entertaining things in my boring life."

As he rose from the bed, he took a moment to stretch, gently flexing his joints. Starting with his toes, he wiggled them to shake off any stiffness, then rolled his ankles in small circles. He bent his knees and straightened them a few times,

'Mhm. A human body is uncomfortable....Mahito, we have a lot of work to do.'

Around this time, at the center of the Minamata district, Geto had finally awoken from his slumber.

As he looked around he saw Toji comfortably sleeping on a pitch-black bed.

"So you're finally up?" Toji stood up from the bed before sitting on the sofa.

"Ugh. how long was I out ?" Geto could feel a headache overwhelming his body.

"Hmm. A few hours. The others are probably waiting for us." Toji said while rubbing his chin.

"Anyways, we should get going. We could probably get a taxi when we we get out of this place." Toji started walking away from Geto.

"Wait for me, sensei." Geto said before getting up from the ground, dusting off his clothes in the process.

'I should probably ask him about it.' Geto thought.

"Hmmmm. by the way sensei I had this weird dream where you were talking to a woman with stitches on her head."

As soon as Toji heard those words he stopped dead in his tracks.

"Cool dream." Toji said before continuing to walk away from the district.

'Just as I thought... something definitely happened while I was unconscious.... maybe it's just his friend. Whatever'

An idea struck Geto while he resumed walking with Toji.

"Heh."

"Toji sensei hop on."

Geto sat on top of an ancient creature, its long, slender neck supported a small, bird-like head with a sharp, curved beak. Its eyes though, large and predatory.

The creature's body was sleek and streamlined, designed for flight. Its powerful muscles rippled beneath its feathers, giving it a sense of strength. Its wings, though immense, were delicate and flexible.

Toji smiled at Geto.

"Good idea."

Meanwhile, a certain white haired teenager sat in a taxi.

In the backseat, the white-haired teen with blue glasses was squished between two ripped, shirtless men with muscles threatening to burst out of the vehicle. He looked like a twig among these giants, his glasses askew and his hair sticking up in all directions.

As the taxi bounced along the road, he tried to find some space, his elbows jabbing into the buff men's sides with every bump. Meanwhile, the two burly men chatted away, completely unfazed by Gojo's presence.

'I left my wallet at the school and my phone got smashed because of Toji's punch.'

'Good thing these.... well people let me in for free since they were going to Kyoto'

As he looked around at the sweaty men surrounding him on both sides completely ignoring him, he couldn't help but reconsider his life decisions.

"I hate my life."
