[Chapter 2] Discussion Part 1

[South Korea, Seo Residency] 

[Morning 7:45 am]

[~ 6 Days Before the Wolfie's Assault ~] 

...

Jiwoo: "Yulius, Chelsea, I'm heading to school now!"

A little 7-year-old boy with cream white hair could be seen kneeling down to put on his shoes before standing up to see one of his sisters descending down the stairs while the other was in front of him, waving his lunch in a circular motion, teasingly in front of his face. 

Chelsea: "Forgetting something, oppa." 

She teased her older brother as he tried to reach for his lunch bag that would've been within his grasp if not for his sister pulling away at the last second. 

Jiwoo: "Chelseaaaa."

He whines after multiple fail miserable attempts. 

Jiwoo: "I'm going to be late." 

He says before bringing out the big guns when she still didn't budge one bit, pouting cutely as he brought out his amber doe puppy eyes making him sparkle brightly like the stars on a starry midnight sky, knowing they were his sister's weakness. 

Chelsea: "Urg, not those damn adorable puppy dog eyes." 

She dramatically complains as she covered her blue gleaming eyes from the beaming cinnamon roll who continues to up his game. 

Jiwoo: "Preassseee Chelsea, my dear little sister."

He pleads, finally getting his sister to give in after having a quick playful staring contest with her. 

Chelsea: "Fine, but only because you're my cute oppa."

She says, handing the boy's lunch who giggles in response.

Jiwoo: "Hehe."

Yulius: "Oppa, you should start heading out or you'll be late." 

She announced her presence, staring at the duo fondly. 

Jiwoo: "Oh! Right! I'm heading out now, bye Chelsea, Yulius." 

He shouts as he ran out the front door, hearing his little sisters say their farewells before closing it shut. After he left, Chelsea stared at her sister who stared back with a questioning gaze, before finally speaking up. 

Yulius: "Why are you awkwardly standing there and looking at me like a creep. You look like a weirdo y'know." 

Chelsea: "I do not." 

Yulius: "Do too, and you're just further proving my point."

She gestures with her hands at Chelsea who was still standing at the door that their brother just left not even 10 minutes ago. 

Chelsea: "Hmpt whatever. Anyways what did you find out about the Great Mythical Beast Clans?" 

She pouts, changing the subject which didn't go unnoticed by Yulius. 

Yulius: 'Not even denying it...' 

She thought to herself before shaking her head at the troublesome thought as she focused on answering Chelsea's latter question. 

Yulius: "Well, so far I figure out that there are 8 Great Mythical Beast Clans in total, and they are the foxes, wolves, white tigers, griffons, hydra, phoenix, basilisk, and dragons. Foxes being ranked the weakest, and the dragons ranked the strongest." 

Chelsea: "There's clans of mythical beast in Eleceed?" 

She questioned raising her brows slightly, sounding surprised as ever due to never once hearing or reading about mythical beast existing in their favorite manhwa. Judging from her sister's confused and questioning gaze, Yulius continue to relay her findings about the mythical beast clans. 

Yulius: "Hm, I was surprised too but I think they're just minor canon fodders in the manhwa." 

Chelsea: "How though, I mean unless we're in a parallel dimension of the original Eleceed where mythology creatures exist, I don't see how such strong beings stay minor characters."

Yulius: "I thought that too and it was one of my theories but-"

Chelsea: "But?" 

Yulius: "Uh-" 

Chelsea: "What?" 

Yulius: "Um- well, I'm trying to figure out a way to explain it while also making it sound believable but can't." 

Chelsea: "Should I be concerned?" 

She questioned, raising a brow. Yulius sighed, shaking her head. 

Yulius: "No, in simplest terms, they are all pathetically weak and their potential is utterly trash." 

Chelsea: "Surely you jest!" 

Chelsea snorts, thinking her twin was joking before her face turned in denial as she was faced with a serious 'not joking' look from her sister. 

Chelsea: "You're kidding?" 

She asked but got the confirmation she needed from her continuous blank stare. 

Chelsea: "You're not kidding. H- how?" 

She mutters, astonished by the reveal. 

Yulius: "Well, first of all, they can't transform into a mythical beast except for the fox, wolf, and tiger clans." 

Chelsea: "Huh?! Then what's the point of the other's clan names?" 

She questioned, with a bewildered look plastered on her face. 

Yulius: "Well, from what I know so far, their awakened abilities take at least some type of form related to mythical beast. For the dragon clan, they have special golden eyes that have a slit going down the middle with scale markings forming around their eyes when in use. It gives them somewhat of a 360º field of vision while also enhancing their strengths and their 5 senses." 

Chelsea: "W- wait- wait- wait- wait, let me get this straight. They basically have the Walmart version of the bakugan, still trash, but the aesthetic is like Subzero when those dragon descendants activate their lizard power, right?" 

She summarized which got a small chuckle from the older Seo at her funny explanation. 

Yulius: "Hm, pretty much." 

Chelsea: "Huh, they are some weak motherf*ckers.

Yulius: "Agreed. A world ranker from the top 200's could easily wipe out all the clans within a month or so." 

Chelsea: "Why haven't they? I mean, I know they're weak and all with their potential being nonexistent, but they still have their use, especially in numbers? And did you see Kitsune's rage the other day, well night actually, it was kind of impressive."

Yulius: "Hm, he's the only one that I view has enough wits and guts to become a key player in Eminence. The rest are meh, they all have potential to become stronger if they leave their clan and join an actual group, but-" 

Chelsea: "But it's unlikely as most groups wouldn't accept them, well most, and the other reason is their loyalty to their clan, right." 

Yulius: "Hm." 

She hummed in agreement as a small smile curve its way onto her face. 

Yulius: "Wow Chelsea, I didn't know you had it in you to praise someone of his caliber so highly. What was it again, he's 'impressive', right?" 

Her small smile took the form of a teasingly grin, much to Chelsea's dismay. 

Chelsea: "Hmpt, I said he's kind of impressive, not that impressive, and besides, I know when to compliment someone when they show their worth. Though he's still a worthless monkey in my book." 

Yulius: "Yare yare daze~ (Good grief~), I get it, everyone's a monkey in your book but mom, oppa, and I, which I don't understand." 

Chelsea: "What's hard to understand?" 

Yulius: "That everyone's a monkey in your eyes except our family-" 

Chelsea: "Kayden, Kartein, Jiyoung, Jisuk, Subin, Wooin, Inhyuk, Seongha-" 

She named off many characters that played a supporting role to the main protagonist, Jiwoo Seo. 

Yulius: "Okay, okay, I get it. Everyone but the main cast of Eleceed are monkeys." 

Chelsea: "Precisely!" 

Yulius: "What about the people who join Eminence. Are they monkeys too?" 

Chelsea: "Nah, they'll be our people and as such, they shouldn't be at the level of those lowly things." 

Yulius: "Suguru Geto 2.0?" 

She mumbled to herself, sounding more like a statement than a question. 

Chelsea: "Hm? You say something Tsuna?" 

Chelsea said cutely, staring at her twin with clueless doll eyes, like a puppy waiting for its owner command, causing the older Seo to sigh tiredly at her sister's 'innocent' playful antics as she answers. 

Yulius: "Nothing. Let's move on to each of the clan's specialty with foxes being fire, wolves being earth, white tigers being white fire-" 

Chelsea: "White fire's a thing?" 

Yulius: "Not really, but they were able to do so because they possess both water/ice and fire affinity to create it." 

Chelsea: "And they're the 3rd weakest when they have so much potential?" 

Yulius: "True, but to create white fire takes extreme amounts of concentration and a perfect force control." 

Chelsea: "Which I'm assuming, they don't have." 

Yulius: "Hm, their white fire is weak, but it's enough to fend off the wolves and foxes which is what secure their 6th place ranking. Also, their white flames are able to freeze things with the flame's temperature reaching close to absolute zero." 

Chelsea: "Then we're definitely recruiting them. If we're able to have control over a clan that possess two elements, with their potential being insanely high, then Eminence's future is looking bright." 

Yulius: "Hm, then it's good that I got information on them. From what I garner, they are very mysterious and secretive." 

Chelsea: "Meaning they're hiding something, right?" 

Yulius: "Yeah, probably a weakness or secret of some sort." 

Chelsea: "You have any idea of what it could possibly be?" 

She asked, getting a response almost immediately.

Yulius: "Their force control."

Chelsea: "What about it?" 

Yulius: "I think it is killing them." 

Chelsea: "Huh? Does it perhaps have anything to do with them possessing both fire and water elements?" 

Yulius: "Yup, fire and water are naturally polar opposite, so their elements are having an internal battle with one another inside the user's core. In the long run, it will only serve to hurt the users till their death." 

Chelsea: "And with their force control, it's only speeding up the process."

Yulius: "Hm, the first symptoms include burn marks appearing wherever the users use their white flames, numbness, body temperature decreasing, and feeling cold. Next, they get fevers and parts of their body become ice which results in amputation to stop the spread. Thought that doesn't really help-"

Chelsea: "Since the cause of those symptoms is the force control and as long as they continue to use it, it will only further increase the damage to its users." 

She sums it up, resulting in Yulius nodding in reply. 

Yulius: "Hm, it's a hunch, but I'm more than 97% sure that that's the cause of their secretness." 

Chelsea: "If others knew, then they'll weakness will be exploited which surprises me though, that they aren't found out yet or extinct for that matter." 

Yulius: "Hm." 

Chelsea: "Wait, if they're dying, why don't we propose a solution for them in return for their loyalty." 

Yulius: "Hm, that's what I'm doing right now." 

Chelsea: "I see, you need help?" 

Yulius: "No, I'm 71% done, I just need to figure out a way to boost their maximum output for their flames." 

Chelsea: "I could do that while you finish up their cure." 

Yulius: "Sounds good." 

She blobs her head up and down before entering a meditative position with her leg's crisscross applesauce on the couch. Chelsea follows along, mirroring a similar position to her twin but on the floor, as she interlocks all of her fingers together except for her indexes and thumbs as they form a triangle, proving to be more helpful to her when she is concentrating or making an important concise plan. 

Yulius closes her eyes as she settles in on her spot till she's nice and comfy before visualizing a fire. The little inferno represents yang since fire is align with warmth, keeping the cold away, light, for lighting up the world when it gets too dark, and hope, for a new beginning. Water is yin, to calm the raging heat from burning out too fast, from the possibility of its flames being overused, balancing it out on a 50/50 scale, relying on one another to keep the other sane and alive. 

Chelsea on the other hand, separates 1/10 of her energy swirling around in her core, creating a solid sphere of pure mana right above her core in her abdomen. She concentrates on stabilizing the pure energy as she rotates it in a consistent manner, so the energy won't wallow away when she integrates a portion of her limitless techniques in slowly and carefully. This method was proven incredibly difficult and challenging as one slip up will leave you right back where you first started. 

[~𝟚 𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕤 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣~]

Eventually, after 2 long tedious hours, the elder sister's eyes opened first, observing her surroundings to find her sister still meditating, clear signs of frustration with beads of sweat pouring down her angelic face as she sighed once again from failure. Seeing this, she quietly got up from her spot and went to the kitchen to cook something up as neither of them had anything to eat since early in the morning, before settling right behind her sister. 

She concentrates her sixth eyes to focus in on her sister's control and process as she guides her energy slowly towards the revolving blue sphere that keeps dissipating when the force control manages to absorb over 65% of her infinity. Both sisters' frown at this, but for different reasons. Chelsea from another defeat and Yulius because she saw a slight burst of energy turning the entire force control into a chaotic whirlpool.

After identifying the problem, she slowly but thoroughly came up with a solution wondering if she could somehow assist her twin with the yin and yang technique, she newly developed, to enhance the swirling blue sphere residing in her sister's abdomen. Testing out her theory, she softly places her dominate left hand behind the younger Seo's back to not startled her as she slowly inserts her energy. Chelsea, already aware of her presence's wonder what her twin was up to before catching on when she felt a burst of energy enter her system. 

Chelsea: 'This energy, it's different. It feels like a raging hot flame but at the same time, warming and calming.' 

She thought as she carefully reinforces the force control with the energy, she was receiving. That was proven pointless as when the sphere was approaching 83% successful rate, the energy broke loose and dissipated once again. Sighs and groans could be heard from both parties as they retried again just to receive another lost, but this time they managed to make it to 90%. They continued over and over again, with each attempt getting them further and further away from their original goal, yet so close. Adding on, their pent-up frustration led to their immediate demise as sweat burned down both sister's forehead. 

[~𝔸𝕡𝕡𝕣𝕠𝕩𝕚𝕞𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕪 𝟙 𝕙𝕠𝕦𝕣𝕤 𝕝𝕒𝕥𝕖𝕣~]

After multiple series of pathetic attempts, getting them nowhere, Yulius decided to change up the process and slowly add yin and yang at different times. That too, was proven difficult as yin and yang are unstable without one another, so she had to time it perfectly in order to ensure the stability of both affinities by itself for a small duration of time before having to fuse them back together. Their first couple of attempts were merely testing the waters before they hastily adapted and trusted the procedure as they poured more energy into the revolving blue-ish and silver-ish sphere, while still timing the yin and yang output and input perfectly.

And finally, after another 30 minutes or so, they were successful. Pants and laughter could be heard from both sisters as they cheered and grin at the results. A swirling silver sphere could be seen occupying the top of Chelsea's palm, looking much like the rasengan developed by the 4th Hokage, Minato Namikaze who is also Naruto's father, from the anime Naruto.
