"Ah! Yah!" Miamore exclaimed as she swung her sword, with Princes Ajay and Princes Mikael in front of her. They were teaching her how to move the sword. Meanwhile, another Prince, Prince Jacob, sat on a big rock not far from them. He just watched and observed the Princess's movements, checking if she was doing it right or wrong.
"Wrong! One more time!" the Prince shouted. Princess Miamore was surprised but quickly improved.
34
She did it again, 34 times. They were all sweaty due to the scorching sun. Exhausted, but they couldn't give up.
"One more time!" the Prince shouted again. Prince Jacob was strict. Princess Miamore felt anxious.
"What's wrong with Prince Jacob?" Princess Miamore asked her two siblings in front of her. They were also tired.
"I don't know," Prince Ajay shrugged. Prince Mikael did the same and didn't speak.
"Enough with your gossiping!" Prince Jacob shouted, then he approached the three siblings. Princess Miamore stood up straight and awaited Prince Jacob's approach.
"Did I tell you to stop? Continue, Amore. Your sword movements are incorrect!" the Prince shouted again. The Princess bit her lip and became nervous about the Prince's behavior.
The Princess, after several hours of practice, finally learned how to use the sword.
"Let's have a snack." Prince Jacob said briefly before leaving.
"Sigh." The Princess said in exhaustion and collapsed to the ground. The two Princes just let her, offering their assistance. Prince Ajay handed her a piece of bread.
"Thanks."
"Let's just leave Kuya alone for now. He might be possessed." Prince Ajay chuckled. Both Princess Miamore and Prince Mikael shrugged.
"I wonder why though. He was fine the past few days, right?" Princess Miamore pondered. She looked at herself, confused.
"I don't know. Maybe he's just in a bad mood today." Prince Mikael replied. After a few minutes, they continued their practice when Prince Jacob returned. He still had a frown on his face.
"Now, Miamore, it's your turn. We need to let out the energy within your body. Don't force it, as it might backfire on you and outside your body. Take it slow."
"H-How?" The Princess innocently asked. The three Princes facepalmed and then showed her.
"Do you understand now?"
"Yes...I-I'll try."
As the Princes had instructed, the Princess closed her eyes and focused on the presence of her power. She couldn't believe she had any powers, being just a mere mortal. At first, it wasn't easy for her to release her power. But everyone was surprised when water started flowing from her entire body, completely enveloping her.
"Woah! The water...you possess the power of water." Prince Ajay whispered.
The power of water of the Princess is a versatile and potent force that can manifest in various ways, including the ability to heal and purify, manipulate and control water, adapt and endure through challenges, influence emotions and intuition, communicate with aquatic creatures or water-based spirits, and even create and sustain life, embodying a wide range of abilities associated with fluidity, balance, and the life-giving properties of water.
"Wave your hand." Prince Jacob commanded, and Princess Miamore immediately followed. Water flowed towards where Princess Miamore raised her hands. She conjured a strong water flow that went straight to the nearby river. The three Princes moved aside to avoid getting hit.
"Close your eyes and now exert all your strength—" Before the Prince could finish, a strong gust of wind suddenly blew, but before it could sweep everything away, he held onto objects to prevent them from being carried away by the wind unleashed by the power of the Princess. Even the Princess was surprised by her own ability.
Her most powerful ability has yet to be surpassed. The shadow. The "shadow" is a power possessed by the Princess, summoning a special shadow or shade that grants the ability to hinder opponents or victims from utilizing their own power or movement. It is a strong and influential ability of the Princess that no one has been able to defeat. Through the shadow, the Princess can control or obstruct enemies or anyone who dares to oppose her power.
The shadow is a metaphor for an unseen force that controls the actions and powers of others. It gives the Princess the opportunity to maintain control of the situation and fight against enemies without using her own power. Instead, she uses the shadow to hinder them.
After finishing, they rested for a while and decided to leave before dusk fell. They didn't want a repeat of what happened that would put the Princes and Princess Miamore in danger. Princess Miamore just looked at the eldest sibling with a frown.
What could have happened to Prince Jacob? She wondered to herself. She wanted to know. She pondered deeply and looked at the trees they were passing by. Oh, I've come such a long way. How are Mama and Papa? A-are they worried about me?
Forgive me for running away, but I don't want to waste the life I have now. It's just sad that... Even in this second life, I still can't make my parents love me.
"Sigh." The beloved Princess lazily gazed at the sky.
*Walking* *walking*
The beloved Princess was alarmed, and this was the opportunity to use what she had been taught. She drew her sword, thinking that someone might attack them and a similar situation would occur, but she stopped when someone tapped her back. It was Prince Ajay.
"Crown Prince!" a soldier shouted. He bowed and placed a stick on his chest.
"O beloved Princes!" shouted other soldiers. This was the sign of respect for the nobles.
"The Beloved King summons you! This is an emergency meeting and you are included. Your Highness."
"Wait...we are included?" Prince Ajay asked.
"Yes, you are." The soldier confirmed.
"What about the Princess?" Prince Mikael replied and turned to look at the Princess. They all turned to look as well.
"M-Me? Ha? What?"
"Yes, Prince Mikael. The beloved Princess is included."
*Run* *run*
*Ddun* *ddun*
Their footsteps thudded on the ground, sending tremors. Everyone was on high alert and anxious about the news that the beloved king would reveal.
"Is this serious? Why does it feel different HAHAHAHA I haven't experienced this yet," Prince Ajay joked.
"Stop!" A soldier shouted. When they 're arrived.
The door slowly opened and they all entered. Only a few soldiers entered because most of those present were maids and palace residents. There were also those involved in politics or in positions of authority. The three Princesses on the side were present, ready to listen to whatever reason they were summoned for. Prince Rico was also there, standing beside the Queen. All eyes were on the approaching figures—Prince Jacob, Prince Mikael, Prince Ajay, and Princess Miamore.
"Your Highness!" They all bowed as soon as they entered the temple. Afterwards, they raised their heads. Princess Miamore imitated what they did, although Revely didn't know what was happening. She had no knowledge about this.
What's happening? She wondered to herself. She felt like she was out of place.
"I have called all of you here because of some news and a mission."
"Ha? A mission?"
"A mission?"
"A mission?"
Whispers filled the entire hall at the mention of the mission.
"What? I just finished cleaning my nails!" Princess Leonor whispered.
"Me too, huhuhu," added Princess Mira.
"Shut up, both of you. Are you the only ones annoyed?" Princess Diana interrupted. She was irritated by the sudden meeting because she had something to take care of in her room—her beauty routine. She felt disturbed.
"And this mission doesn't involve all of you," the beloved king added. He took the folded paper from the string and opened it.
Some of those present breathed a sigh of relief, but they still felt anxious because one of them might have the mission. It hadn't been revealed yet, but the words of the beloved king felt intense.
"Princess Miamore." The beloved king lowered the paper and looked Miamore in the eyes. Revely was surprised to hear her name.
"What? Me? What about me?" she whispered on herself.
She took a few steps towards the center.
"Present?" she awkwardly said. Some people inside the palace and those who heard outside laughed as it seemed Princess Miamore didn't understand what was happening.
"Ahem. Princess Miamore, I am assigning you a mission," the beloved king said seriously, gazing into Revely's eyes. The beloved king didn't know that the Princess Miamore he considered his child was actually Revely from another world. That's why her rebellious behavior shouldn't come as a surprise, especially when she was also staring back at the Princess.
"...because of the recent events, or rather, the invasion, I declare that the palace of Armetys is behind all the chaos in our palace."
Whispers filled the room. Miamore? She was confused about what was happening. Armetys was responsible for this? Were they the ones who fought against my siblings once?
"...You will be entering that palace, Princess Miamore." Revely seemed to pause and still hadn't processed what was happening. What did he say? I don't understand, I'm confused. Some people in the hall were also confused.
"...Come closer, Amore," the High King said. Miamore didn't immediately obey due to fear. But realizing that she needed to follow the king, she approached and stood in front of the throne where the beloved king was seated. All eyes in the hall were on the Princess. The Princess knelt down, just like the attitude lessons taught to her by some of the maids.
She approached the beloved king and listened to what he wanted to say. The beloved king whispered the plan that the Princess would carry out inside the Palace of Armetys. The king didn't want anyone else to hear due to its highly secretive nature.
"M-Me?" The Princess asked, referring to herself. It seemed like she couldn't believe what she read. She would pretend to be a helper to the Princes of Armetys and get closer to the beloved king and queen. Similar to the positions of her three friends, Haraya, Aliyah, and Maryana, that was the role she would experience in the Palace of Armetys.
The beloved king nodded earnestly, a sign for the Princess to leave.
"That's unfair, beloved king. The mission you're giving the Princess is too dangerous," said someone in politics.
"You fool! You have no right to dictate to the king!" shouted another person in politics.
"I apologize, beloved king, but your youngest child will be given to your enemies," the person continued.
The King gave a displeased look to the other politician who spoke up. Everyone fell silent. Princess Miamore was confused and couldn't keep her eyes still as she listened to the arguing. It was frightening. The beloved king was frightening. Why did he have to send her away? Why did Revely have to be separated from her parents? Maybe it's not too late, right?
"N-no! I don't want to." After saying that, the beloved princess lifted her head to face the beloved king. Tears welled up in her eyes. She held onto her clothes tightly. Everyone looked at her, worried. Some were angry because she shouted. She yelled at the beloved king.
"I don't want to! I d-don't want—"
"What right do you have to disagree with my wishes!" The beloved king shouted, silencing the princess. Oh my gosh! She can't. She couldn't bear all of this. Wasn't everything she had endured before enough? With her mother, her real mother in another time and her fiancé.
"My decision is final! And you will follow it."
"B-but..."
"Amore." Prince Mikael whispered softly to stop the princess from answering the beloved king.
It hurts... The beloved princess felt the pain. Revely.
Everyone was in shock. Even the beloved king and queen were surprised by Revely's actions. She knelt down and bowed. In front of many people and in front of the throne.
"I-I apologize! I-I beg for forgiveness. I-I didn't choose to be your child, beloved king, beloved queen." She looked at her parents. "I-I'm sorry, please forgive me for being alive in this world—"
"Miamore!" The queen shouted.
"...I don't want to! I won't go there." The princess cried uncontrollably. Prince Ajay accompanied her and gently rubbed her back.
"Shhhh, Amore, it's fine," Prince Ajay whispered, then slowly helped the princess stand.
"Beloved Prince, beloved Queen, please forgive my outburst for interrupting your conversation." The General arrived. General Medel San Isidro came to deliver important news to the beloved king. They also called the eldest prince, Prince Jacob. Worry was evident on the face Prince Jacob gave to the general. He needed to leave. But he wanted to stop the king from his plans for the princess. It seemed like there was nothing he could do anymore.
"I will comply, beloved king." The prince whispered and bowed to the king, queen, and the general before leaving.
The face the princess gave the prince as they crossed paths pleaded for help.
"Help me, Hopya" The princess whispered, but her heart sank when the prince passed by her.
