Chapter 3 - All Five

after the examination was over Taiyuan headed home with a look of confusion and joy on his way home he stopped by the village library to find out how to cultivate and use magic as he wanted to see what he can learn and use and start to get stronger a soon as he can so he can make his father proud.

when he entered he greeted the old man sitting behind the reception with a smile as he said "greetings Elder Ming i hope you have had a good day today"

"oh.. young lord i have thank you how about you. did the exam go well?" said elder Ming with a curious look.

"sort of" said Taiyuan whilst handing the card with his results over to Elder Ming to examine a couple breaths later Ming looked towards Taiyuan with curiosity whilst handing back his result card he then said.

"Taiyuan, tell me what color was the crystal glowing when you got your results?"

"hrm... a bright white why?" said Taiyuan

after Taiyuan said that a glimmer of joy shone in Elder Mings eyes as he hastily ran over to some books around 5 minutes later Taiyuan heard Elder Ming shout "FOUND IT" as he hastefully ran back over to Taiyuan.

Ming handed the book to Taiyuan with anticipation and said "this book contains part of a method to cultivate your martial arts under the element of your magic... it is incomplete and i can understand if u wish not to attempt it as it could be a waste of effort and time but i feel this was meant for you young lord"

"i will definitely give it a try but there is a slight problem... i do not know what my element is" said Taiyuan

Elder Ming looked towards Taiyuan and said in a solemn tone "if my hunch is correct...you Taiyuan..do not just have one element but all five maybe even more"

"Wait What...you mean to tell me i can use all five elements" said Taiyuan with a look of surprise not even a breath went by before Taiyuan also asked "what do you mean by maybe even more?"

Elder Ming looked in to Taiyuans eyes and said with a solemn tone

"my hunch is that you have the ability to use all 5 elements and more because the color you said the crystal glowed was white.." said Elder Ming

Taiyuan thought to him self for a moment trying to comprehend what he was just told as its unheard of for someone to be able to utilize all five elements the most that someone was ever recorded having was three.

Taiyuan after a moment Taiyuan said to Elder Ming "but why did it glow white wouldn't it have glowed like a rainbow"

"follow me i wish to show you some thing" said Elder Ming.
