Ji Min immediately scanned through the part of his memories that belonged to the little kid and sure enough, some part of it was missing, and there was even some of the intact information he had obtained which was still missing other vital details.
It was almost like someone who hasn't fully grasped the theory behind any subject matter.
[You can just reveal to him that the venom of that demon beast seems to have messed with your memories; I'm sure he would bite onto it.] The Old Man added whilst Daniel simply nodded, said his byes, and went to sleep.
Dawn the next day; Ji Min, the two royal physicians, Ji Tang, and his two sworn brothers as well as the two girls gathered in front of the family head villa to say their final farewells.
"All your necessities have been placed within this storage pouch. Take care of yourself and don't get yourself into any unnecessary problems. Stay with Master Lao at all times; at least until you are fully recovered." Ji Tang instructed as he handed a little storage pouch to Ji Min.
"Old Lao would tell you how to access the contents of the bag once every ounce of venom has been extracted from your body." Ji Tang added before stepping back so that the others could also give a few pieces of advice.
"You should strive to heal quickly, so you can begin cultivating once again; we all believe in you and your talent, so we know it won't take too long for you to return to your peak." Ji Fang added as he patted Ji Min's shoulder.
"Take care of yourself and listen to Master Lao always." Ji Wang as usual gave a piece of brief advice before patting Ji Min on the head.
The two girls didn't have anything to say, after all, whilst Ji Min was very popular due to his talent, he had always spent his time cultivating in the villa, thus, he hadn't related with anyone much, so Ji Min simply nodded at them before Master Li stepped forward.
"Old Lao, in three days, I will come to check up on the kid on their behalf. Please do everything you can." Old Lao nodded at the group before summoning a sword out of thin air.
The sword then enlarged as he and Ji Min stepped on it.
"My ride is parked outside the empire to prevent any form of suspicion or trouble. We will be leaving now." Old Lao said as he used his Qi to root Ji Min's foot onto the flying sword to prevent him from falling off mid-air.
The giant sword then gradually ascended into the sky, and the moment they reached a height where they would find no obstruction at all, the giant flying sword then shot into the distance with a loud sonic boom.
The group stayed for a while and looked into the distance, and once the flying sword was completely out of their sensory range, Ji Tang turned around with a solemn expression plastered on his face.
"Fang."
"Yes, brother."
"It is time to settle things with the main clan." Ji Tang suddenly spoke causing not only the Ji duo to stare at him in shock, but even Master Li was stunned.
"Gather every tribe member; it is time to return to our old ways." He added as Ji Fang's eyes widened in shock.
"The demon continent isn't a place for the weak and frail-minded; wouldn't that be a little too much for them to handle?"
Ji Wang who wasn't known for speaking too much blurted out two sentences at once: a very rare sight.
"Hmph, it was only because of this training method that we were able to stand above the other clans, but ever since that old bastard became the patriarch, we have deviated from it and as such become weak."
Ji Tang responded whilst the two brothers kept contemplating the severity of the matter.
But after a few minutes, Ji Fang spoke.
"What you said is indeed true; we haven't had a beast tide since the former patriarch started his tenure, and surely the people seemed to have begun to turn complacent."
"Leave the entire preparation to me. We will start mobilizing them in batches by dawn."
"Wang, I will also be accompanying them to the demon continent, I need to scout for and gather as many cultivation resources as possible for the time Min'er restarts his cultivation; so, you will be in charge of the town's security and safety."
Ji Tang ordered as Ji Wang and Ji Fang simply nodded and vanished from their presence.
"Master Li, thank you for all the efforts and kindness you have shown me and my grandson; henceforth, the entire Southern Ji Family shall treat and refer to you as our honorable adviser comparable to myself." Ji Tang bowed slightly as he handed a wooden tag to Master Li.
Master Li simply looked at Ji Tang and realized that the old man might rise until he has accepted the tag and the title that came with it, thus, after a few minutes of contemplation, he then collected it and helped Ji Tang stand upright.
Since he was going to be an adviser, that meant he could still live his life as he normally would and would only need to respond to or mediate any matter involving the Southern Ji Family.
He also knew Ji Tang was planning to usurp the current rulers of the Ji Clan, and whilst he wasn't supposed to meddle in their affairs, he had gotten word from his master; the Imperial Physician, that the emperor was in favor of a coup.
To the emperor, it would be killing two birds with one stone; on the one hand, the Ji Clan would be rid of all the spineless and scheming members within their ranks, and on the other hand, their strength would also weaken to the same level as the other guardian clans, and that was good news to him.
With all these conditions in place, Master Li concluded that accepting a title within the uprising Ji Clan wouldn't be counted as a crime to his name.
Furthermore, he could also serve as a source of firsthand information for the Imperial Clan.
But whilst these thoughts were running through his mind, little did he know that the intelligent Ji Tang also had a plan that involved using his influence.
