He dived in and swam deeper, he dug the rocks and sand to find her hair, but how could he find a small hair in that deep lake?

Just when he was about to give up he felt a light coming from his left, As he turned around he saw a sphere of light holding a hair inside it. He reached it and swam out.

He opened his eyes coughing and found himself in Brigid's chamber coughing and gasping for air, falling down to his back.

Emric and Swan reached him, Emric rubbed his back, meanwhile, Swan was gasping for air, soaked up in water, laughing with embarrassment.

"I didn't kill Felix" He hadn't caught his breath still.

Swan had tears in her eyes as she saw it all by her own eyes, while Brigid nodded proudly with a smile on her face.

"You knew!" Jayden coughed as he stared at her with surprise.

She was smiling still but now with satisfaction.

On the other side, in Hawkbone's church there were 7 caskets overall on the ground instead of the Altar, one in the middle and 6 around it, every casket's head's side was pointing toward the casket that was in the center.

Every casket was covered except for two, one that was in the middle and the one under it had no cover, and they were empty.

2 of those caskets had the symbols of the moon on them, 2 of them had a witch's knot and one on the top center had a skull on it.

Everyone was gathered in that church and Hawkbone was walking around those casket's.

"I hope most of you know why are we here, they say a queen has risen among us! The queen who will put an end to our enemy, werewolf!

So this is where we will perform our greatest ritual of all time! We will grant her full support in this holy journey of her!" He called Rose to stand with him.

"I pledge my loyalty to her, to the strongest vampire of all time" He knelt before her, and all of the vampires knelt with him.

She smiled with her chin up with confidence until she saw Ryanne who was standing with his hands inside his pockets.

"Is there any problem with, Ryanne?" Rose asked.

"Can I get a minute? Please?" He begged.

"Thank you all please arise" She smiled and everyone stood up.

She walked out with Ryanne "Isn't it alarming for you? I mean how can you trust him?" He explained.

"It's okay he won't hurt me!" She turned back.

"Listen…" He stopped her again and this time she was annoyed "The dream I told you about? Where I saw someone drowning in the darkness? I think that's you!" He held her hand gently.

"This is why you should support me more! What if that drowning in the darkness means that I will be trapped with my enemies and there will be no one to help me?" She insisted.

He didn't respond, instead, he started staring at the ground, and now she got her answer, she yanked back her hand and stepped back inside.

"I promise we will see the downfall of the wolves!" She raised a glass of wine in her hand "Let's drink to those who we lost and drink to those who are yet to be found!" She cheered up and stared at Ryanne who was looking at her with hopelessness, and helplessness.

Meanwhile, Jayden had also recovered from all the flooded lungs and cough "What do you know about the Reegan? That his eyes glow green? And you have a cure in one of your ribs? To some plague that will eat half of the world someday?

Here is the rest of what I know! When a wolf's eyes glow green that means he didn't kill a human before or after turning! And a Reegan never kills a human being!" Brigid stepped in front of all of them.

"At first I didn't believe when our seer announced that a Reegan has bornt but then… I saw Swan's eyes glow, and the way guilt was consuming you. I knew I needed to help you!

So you got me just what I needed!" She stared at the hair in her hand.

"You see DNA is a strong thing! With a hair and a combination of the right spells and potions... I activated her time stream" She proudly smiled when she turned back to them.

"Oh my God! I can't thank you enough" Jayden was constantly rubbing his face with his palms as he hid his face behind them.

He glanced at Emric and then Swan, they both were smiling at him, Emric was patting him on his back, while Swan held his hand to show her support.

He was so relieved, that he couldn't stop himself from going back home to meet his mom, he was so happy and excited to tell her what he just found out.

He sneaked in and headed directly to her room "Mom see what I just found out!" He entered her room and called out to her again "Mom?" Then he noticed she was sitting in the corner facing the wall, there was something off about her.

"Mom?" He called out to her again.

"Go away!" She grunted.

He was about to leave when he noticed her voice was not normal. Then he saw her arm, which seemed hairy, and her skin crawling.

"Mom! Are you?" He stammered when his eyes widened "Wait… It was you! All this time… You've been the one who fed on his body?" He combed his hair back with his fingers with tension and restlessness.

"Why aren't you answering me?" He yelled when she yelled back and even louder.

"What do you want me to say Jayden? Did I eat Felix's body? Yes! I was the one who ate it! Now get the hell out of here!" She growled so loud that startled Jayden, but it didn't make him leave.

Instead, his mom jumped out of the window, and she was fast enough to disappear right before his eyes.

He followed her scent all the way to the woods but he couldn't reach her.

"What am I gonna do?" He was still trying to find her when Jayden noticed a girl peeking inside the woods from behind a tree.

When Jayden saw her, he recognized her by her blonde ponytail and short skirt, It was Rita, but she was unaware of his presence.

"What are you doing here?" Jayden asked her, It made her startled but she started stammering, but before she could say anything Jayden thought something that totally made sense "Of course! You are the one behind what happened to Felix!"

"What?" Rita was still confused "What are you talking about?" She appeared surprised and unsure, as though she didn't understand what he was saying.
