CHAPTER 25

OZPIN POV

"And how are our students doing now?" he asked as he took another sip from the coffee and watched the four sleeping students through the glass wall.

Having the death of even a single student in his hand would be problematic. The average citizens of Vale never really understood how dangerous being a Hunter is. Mostly because the News channels are not allowed to show the grim reality of the world outside the walls.

Doing so would worsen the mood of the whole populace of the city which would attract more Grimm to the city.

This was why news about the death of a new Beacon student would not be taken well by the public and would create all sorts of problems for him down the line.

Problems that he didn't need now that the Fall maiden was out of commission and Salem's pawns were on the move.

"Out of danger." Nurse Zhoe said as she flipped through the Medical records of his four students. "They were lucky that Mr. Arc had such a unique and useful semblance and was able to transfuse their bodies with his own aura. Without it, the situation would've been far worse. We might even have needed to cut off Mr. Sky Lark's legs in order to save him."

"I see." He said as he took another sip from the coffee, seeming his usual calm and collected self to the world. As if he was never worried about his students in the first place.

Looking and calm and collected during bad situations was a valuable lesson that he had learned a long while ago. Something that helped him to this day.

"I don't think you do Headmaster." Nurse Zhoe said and he blinked before turning to face the younger woman.

"Excuse me?"

"I said I don't think you understand the extent to which Mr. Arc's aura helped these students." Nurse Zhoe said, "If not for Mr. Lark's crushed legs and the poison of the Rapier Wasp in all of them, then they would not even be needed to be brought here in the first place. That's how well his semblance healed them."

He took in her words and while his face remained calm and neutral, inwardly he was thinking of all the best ways that this semblance of Mr. Arc could be put to use.

He had lived for a long time, the longest in the whole world if Salem wasn't taken into the equation and he would not be lying if he said that Jaune had shown the most potential in his family tree even when compared to all his ancestors. Not to mention Mr. Arc's large Aura reserves that dwarfed that of his own by quite a bit.

Truly, Jaune was a diamond in the rough ready to be polished. And he would have to think of some way to bring Mr. Arc to his side.

Though to be frank, he wasn't truly worried about pulling Jaune to his side.

Not when he had Ruby Rose and Pyrrha Nikos in his team. Both of whom were naive and dutiful girls.

Ruby Rose, who had the power of the Silver Eyes along with the delusions of being a hero and Pyrrha Nikos who he wanted for her Unparalleled martial abilities. She girl was nigh undefeatable by kids her of own age group though from what he had seen of her recent spars, he had no doubt that she'll be able to hold her own even against experienced Hunters as well.

Then there is Miss Weiss Schnee. The heiress of Schnee Dust Company. A girl yearning for approval from an older father figure.

The whole of the team ASPR could be very useful to him. Perhaps even more useful than team STRQ had been.

He shook his head and shook off such thoughts from his mind.

His habit of looking at people like they were tools to be used was one that he tried to keep in check but it surfaced in his thoughts whenever wasn't paying attention.

"I see." He said to Nurse Zhoe. "I assume you are interested in talking with Mr. Arc."

"Interested? Of course I am. Do you know how rare semblances that help in healing are? Someone like Mr. Arc could prove to be worth his weight in gold if he is trained as a proper medic."

He very much doubted that Mr. Arc wants to be a medic. Not when he has been training so hard to increase his combat efficiency ever since he entered Beacon Academy but he kept his thoughts to himself.

"I'll ask him to give you a visit in the near future." He said instead.

"You do that. Now shoo. I have others to take care of and you're crowding."

He smiled and allowed himself to be escorted out of the Infirmary.
