You're a ghost

Natasha was getting worried. She tried on John's phone so many times, he didn't pick up. It's already been too many hours since he went there.

Father Sebastian came to check on her and seeing she's alive he became shocked. He was hundred percent sure that he killed her. He checked pulse and heartbeat. There was none. And now she's standing there like nothing happened. He decided to try it later after knowing about Priya a little more.

He went back to his office. On the way he saw father Michael and told him to go and check on John. Father Michael called the black agent to get the report. But the news wasn't so good. The black agent said he lost track of John. Father Michael scolded the black agent for his inefficiency. After that father Michael slowly walked towards father Sebastian's office.

He told father Sebastian everything. He started shouting at father Michael. Father Sebastian started throwing things at father Michael. Father Michael apologized and he said he'll make everything right. Father Michael started murmuring and he walked out. Father Sebastian was frustrated, he failed at killing Priya and now they failed at following John. He felt everything was working against him.

That time father Andrewson came to his office and he looked worried. He said,

"Father Sebastian. I have bad news. We have to go to the hospital right away. It's John; he's found unconscious near the forest. And they said it's very serious. We need to go now. I have told father Michael and father Jacob to head there right away."

That time father Sebastian saw father Michael standing behind father Andrewson and he was showing him the victory sign. He made sure father Andrewson didn't see that. He was so happy.

Father Sebastian became so happy that He couldn't even put it into words. Still he didn't show it outside. Father Michael ran towards the main door without making any noise. He along with father Jacob went to the hospital. Father Andrewson, father Sebastian along with sister Veronica also headed towards the hospital. Sister Veronica was crying.

Sister Veronica was the one who took care of John while he was a child. She was like a mother to him. When John became nine years old, she had to transfer to another church. They were too sad to be apart but they had no other choice. John cried and begged her to take him with her, but she left without taking him. She was bound by the rules and the rules won over love.

She used to come visit him from time to time. For the first two years John begged her to take him there with her. After that he realized that he's all alone no matter what. That was the time John stopped loving anyone. Sister Veronica knew that she couldn't feed John with milk because she was not a biological mother. But she gave her love as her body heat. Every child needs a mother's body heat to grow up properly. Every night she made John sleep on her Naked body since the day she thought of him as a son.

That became a habit and John became sleepless without her. For two years he was sleepless and then those sleepless nights made him fall into depression. John started hating people. He was always avoiding people. He even avoided people who tried to get close to him. John felt like she's the third mother to abandon him.

Sister Veronica came there as usual to see John. He was always avoiding her ever since he realized she's not going to take him. But she never lost hope. She spent the last four years hoping that he would come back to her and call her mom again.

Sister Veronica almost had a heart attack hearing John had an accident. She fell down unconscious. Someone helped her and splashed some water on her face. She woke up and quickly went towards the hospital. That time father Andrewson stopped her and said that they are also going to John. She was so impatient but father Andrewson convinced her.

Some time ago…

Donna came to the church and went straight to John's room. A student from the prayer class accompanied her to his room. Donna reached his room and saw Priya in it. She didn't realize that she was possessed by Natasha. She asked,

" Where is John? And what are you doing here?"

Natasha said,

"June isn't here. I live here."

Donna became suspicious and she looked at Priya. She asked,

"What? Where did he go and why are you living in his room? Is that even allowed in this church?"

That time Natasha remembered that she's inside Priya. She started saying foolish things to convince Donna which only made it worse. That time the cleaning lady came up there and informed them about the accident John had yesterday. She also mentioned that he's in a bad condition.

Natasha felt like she's dead inside. She stopped breathing. Suddenly she remembered that she's inside Priya and she didn't want to make it any more of a problem to her.

Natasha and Donna ran out. They went to the hospital. They were so worried, they even forgot to call a cab. They were running.

Father Michael and father Jacob reached the hospital first. They ran to the hospital reception. Father Michael was the one who asked the staff about John. They instructed them to the ICU John was on.

Father Michael ran towards it first. His actual intention was to know whether John's dead. Father Jacob was worried about John and he followed father Michael. They reached the ICU and saw that the doctor's were trying to save John by giving a defibrillation.

Father Sebastian and father Andrewson also reached there. They saw what was happening there. The doctor's are trying their best, that's what the ones outside thought. But reality was something else.

John died some hours ago, but the hospital was trying to show them that he's alive and they are doing something to save him. They just wanted to put a big bill on his head.

Father Jacob was praying to god for John. At the same time father Sebastian and father Michael were praying to god to kill John.

Donna and Natasha ran towards the ICU. On the way Natasha fell down and some nurse helped her get up. They somehow reached the icu. That time the doctor came out of the ICU and said,

"I'm sorry father. We tried our best but we couldn't save him."

Donna and Natasha started crying. Father Jacob tried to calm them down. Father Sebastian and father Michael were laughing inside and so was the doctor. But they acted like they were in deep pain. Father Andrewson walked towards Donna and Natasha. He said,

"Do not cry, my children. The god takes the person he likes the most. Only good people die soon. Don't be sad, for he's moved on to heaven."

Father Sebastian and Father Michael started cursing Father Andrewson for his good words about John.

Donna wiped her tears but Natasha didn't stop crying. Donna took Natasha to the side and told her to sit on the chair. Donna seemed more bold and mature. She said,

"I understood. You are Natasha right? Are you inside this woman?"

Natasha became surprised but her pain of losing John was too great she couldn't stop crying. Donna continued,

"Look Natasha, I know you loved and cared for him and he did the same for you. But think about us. We only got a little time to be together. I know he had a crush on me just like I have one on him. We didn't even get a time to express our feelings, still I'm here. Look at me, am I crying?"

But that time a drop of tear actually fell out of Donna's eyes. She was holding back her sadness to make Natasha feel better but she failed to do that.

The black and white fur cat was sitting inside the ICU and it looked at John.

Father Jacob takes Natasha and Donna back to the church. That time father Paulson along with Peter came there. They were followed by a group of people. All of them heard the news about John's accident and came to the hospital to see him.

The place was filled with people who John helped in the past. The hospital became crowded.

Father Paulson and father Andrewson stayed there to do all the paperwork. They cleared all that and brought back John's body. They reached the church. They become amazed by seeing the many people that already came to see John. The church was filled and the compound was also full of people.

Donna and Natasha were inside John's room. Natasha felt that everything that's inside the room is reflecting John's face. She laid down on the bed and cried out. Donna said,

"Natasha, cry all you want. But think about it. You are dead so you can see his soul right? Don't you?"

Suddenly Natasha got up. She felt Donna was telling the truth. She hit her own head forgetting all the time that she's a ghost. She said,

"That's it. I'm going to find John."
