Phoenix and Scarmerine went to the church to see what Donna and others were doing. They realized that Donna and others left the place. Phoenix thought that they went in search of John's soul. So they he along with Scarmerine, decided to complete their mission at hand.

At the Newctive town,

Natasha, Donna and Priya reached the town. They searched around the place but saw nothing. Not even a single life was in their view. Susan came and took them to her house. When they reached her house, Susan knocked on the door. A woman came there and opened the door. She locked it right after they all got inside. The door looked like it was heavily reinforced. Not just that even the walls and windows were also covered in metallic objects.

Susan told them about the town. The monster attacked their families, friends and neighbors. Another woman came forward and she told all the stories of the other ones in the house.
