Chapter 1

I was sat on my bed drawing out new designs for toys when I heard something shuffling about on the floor. Everyone else was outside I was the only one in the room. I looked under my bed to find a small clockwork mouse. It was black with red eyes and almost seemed to not need to be wound up. I picked it up and began to do a close study of it. 'I never made this and the orphanage hardly ever buys new toys I wonder how it got here.' I sit it down on the nightstand next to my bed and return to drawing the new design. It was going to be a stuffed toy rabbit for one of the new girls. She was rather shy and I knew this gives some comfort to have an older one look after you. I had just finished making the stuffed rabbit when I decided I had enough time to design a new outfit for my doll. Even though the dress it already has is beautifully designed I want to make sure she had another outfit incase that one needed repairs. I began by measuring the doll the sketching a dress and adding them. I was just adding colour when everyone came in the room. It must be lights out now so I packed up my things placed them in a box under my bed I took the stuffed bunny toy to the little girl. "Hey I made you a toy" I place the little white rabbit in her hands. The design was based off of the white rabbit in Alice in Wonderland as I've caught her  reading it a lot. Her little face light up into a smile and she hugged me before I headed back to my own bed. I grab my night dress and walk to the bathroom and change. When I come back the group of weird girls were around my bed I heard one of them say "of course the Jason reject has Jason himself stalking her" and another replied "you sure she could of just made the mouse" I walk over and ask "excuse me is there a problem" they turn and look at me and the second girl that spoke asks "where did you get the mouse did you make it" I look at them seriously "no actually I have no clue where it came from it was shuffling under my bed." The girl looks mortified "I want to move orphanages Jason is stalking one of the girls in this one" they all shout running off. "Who is Jason? They always compare him to me to him but I have no clue who it is maybe I can look it up in library tomorrow. Goodnight Melia goodnight little mouse." I kiss them each on the top of the head and get into bed. I'll find out in the morning once and for all who they compare me to.

Jason's pov

I finally decided it's time to find out what happened to my daughter. It turns out she's still in the same orphanage as I left her in. She's fifteen now she looks a lot more like an adult to the baby I remember. I never wanted to leave her all those years ago but it wasn't safe for her at the slender mansion or in my world so it was best she grew up in the mortal world. I have to say she's a lot like me now a days. Her hair and eyes are like mine but a bit darker. She makes toys for the younger girls. I left liquorice to watch over her and she was a little confused to where he came from but she didn't seem to mind looking after him. Though it did hurt to hear she hadn't heard of me but it's not to much of a suprise. I wonder if she could ever be like me and join me. Only Evil will ever know that because he can see the future and I don't really know anyone else who can. I wonder how she will react to who I am in the morning or the fact of how much she looks like me and that people are comparing her to me. I was glad to see she still had her mother's watch and the doll I made her. But now she's asleep all I can do is wait for the morning maybe I can go and kill some of those kids in my realm that are boring me.
