CHAPTER Twelve - The Water Splash Drama
The four of them were there because they knew that I would be there with King Vlad so they wanted to crash our date. Well, I wasn't going to sit down and let it happen. I watched as Penelope gave out a fake giggle and Jessica bat her eyelashes at him. I looked at him to see his reaction, but his eyes were on me.
It surprised me that he was watching me, instead of them that were trying so hard to get his attention. When our gaze met, he turned his head to them as he answered Penelope dryly, "Is it? I didn't know that candidates were given permission to wander off in the castle."
She looked around, searching for an excuse while Jessica and the other two girls looked scared. "We apologise, your Majesty. The castle is just so beautiful that we wanted to explore it."
"Alright, since you have seen the garden, I would like it if you left us alone and go back to your respective rooms." He said with an irritated look and that made Penelope's smile falter.
