Alyana wiped her tears of joy as she witness how happy her best friend Athena with her grandacious wedding with the man she ever dreamed!

"Oy! why so emotional?" Alicia asked, one of her co-bride's maid slash one of her friends as well.

"of course! it's my bff's wedding what am I supposed to react then? laugh? scream? what?" again, her careless mouth were starting again.

Hey Alyana behave! it wasn't your wedding!

"Aysh, Alyana you're so exaggerated, I shouldn't have talked to you hmp!" Alicia commented in a low voice before turning her head to the couple at the altar.

"you should, hmp!" Alyana responded being Childish.

Ugh! it'll give me a massive headache big time!

Not so long the wedding had ended already and now they were gathered at the reception where they can eat and eat and eat as what Alyana ever wanted to!

"hmmm I loved this lasagna! I can't eat even a spoon of them in my regular day" she commented like talking to the lasagna without minding her surroundings.

I'm telling you she was so crazy! haha!

Luckily her bff the bride of the day Athena approached her already with her excited self.

"congratulations my dear lovable cute bff!" Alyana commented while hugging her so tight!

"awww thank you so much my dear lovable beautiful bff!" Athena hugged her back as what they always does.

"yes you're right I'm beautiful but I'm getting confused with my beauty already! see? you're so cute but you married first huhu" she faced her lasagna again and have a mouthful of it.

"sus! you're bitter again. Here follow me I have something for you!" Athena said while pulling her in a table that was supposed to be the VIP's place already.

Alyana Just let her pull her while eating her lasagna in a faster manner, she's hungry ok!

"Oy we're near the table now hayst wipe those lasagna at your lips! hurry" luckily Athena came near her lately with a tissue. So she then helped Alyana clean her lips with it like a mother to her.

"aysh food is my happiness why are you always interrupting my happiness!" Alyana said after Athena were satisfied wiping her lips already.

"there! oh wait! lipstick?" Athena forgot any lipstick. Her lips were wiped up with tissue already so she had no lipstick left there already.

"no need" Alyana said with her boring voice.

While Athena shook her head and remembered, Alyana her bff were having a natural red lips since born!

"alright, let's go now and take your seat! hurry I'm sooo excited!" and again Athena pulled her. And Alyana let her do so again.

But as soon as they came near already, Alyana suddenly froze! As she saw someone sitting there, someone whom she must not be wrong with!

What? s-so he attended his bff's wedding with my bff?? I must not be wrong, that was... was... J-Jaime! She thought while staring at the man sitting there.

She must not be wrong! It was Jaime Richman Her bff's wedded groom-Hero's bff! And she was aware of him being invited at The wedding. But she wasn't expecting that he is going to attend. Because knowing his current status? he was so busy running their Family's company already in the country! and everything was history.

It was her 1rst time seeing him again since the last in college she saw him wearing his graduation attire being the Suma Cumlaude of their batch. And everything were really history already.

"oy Alyana what's wrong? why can't you move? you're not heavy enough I guess, but why am I having a hard time pulling you?" Athena's questions made her back in the reality.

Her legs then smoothened which made her almost fell on the ground but luckily Athena supported her.

"oh my gosh that was almost!" Athena said worriedly.

"come on let's go now--"

"ahm Athena I-I have to go now, I--" she doesn't know too but she wanted to go away suddenly. Specially when she can really see that it was Jaime who's sitting there.

"What? no... no way let's go now! it's now or never!" then with Athena's strength she successfully pulled her near the table.

Alyana then got more uncomfortable and wanted to go away already when she confirmed that the table they were heading was the VIP's place where Jaime was at the same time!

But with Athena's strength and determination she successfully finally made her sit at that place, and moreover, she was sitted at the empty chair next to Jamie!

And Athena with her proud self waved goodbye already.

Only then she knew that at that table they were just 5 and she's the only woman who's placed there and the other 4 was all men already including Jaime.

At this situation she was in, is it possible that her BFF Athena set her up to be near Jaime? But it can't be! her BFF doesn't know that she has something on him!

So could it be...

Athena wants me to meet son's of elite families here in the country to make friends or marry them soon to suppress her true identity being poor?

Maybe... They had done this before already you know... Athena would make her appear like a pampered Daughter of an elite family back then when they're in highschool.

She was on her deep thoughts when those men at that table talked to her the time Athena had left already. But Jaime wasn't included as it seems didn't noticed her arrival at all.

"oh Beautiful, what's your name?" men #1 asked.

She was going to answer him already when another men spoke.

"you must be so important in here like us!" men #2.

Again she was going to speak up already when another men again.

"You're close with Master Hero's wedded bride, you must be really important and belongs to the elite family just like us!" men #3 exclaimed.

They're all getting it wrong! She wasn't belongs to any elite family, she was independent since high school. But they were right when they said that she was important to this event, coz she was the bff of the bride!

She wanted to tell them her true identity at this wedding already when again the men #1 talked again but this time? he got Jaime's attention already.

"Master Jaime can you lend some attention to this beautiful lady here? she must be one of the elite's only daughter in the country! great right!"

With men #1 talk? Alyana got froze and wanna excuse her self from them already but she can't just do that it must be so embarrassing so she just bowed her head already to avoid them see her face specially Jaime who shouldn't see her.

"he must be your future perfect wife soon if your grandpa finds her family!" men #2 commented. It made her more bow her head not letting them see her full face.

"Master Jaime you've got to be prepared, she wasn't bad to be your perfect wife after all!" men #3 joined.

Now? Alyana had her head really bowed like a servant now, not really,not really letting them see her almost crying face already.

Hearing those words? it was really making her see herself so poor and stupid. Like she doesn't have any pride at all anymore. How can she correct them already then?

She stayed In silence and luckily those 3 men stopped talking already. They must be worrying on her silence already.

But none of her knowings, they just stopped talking already when they saw Jaime gave his attention to the lady in their table at last!. And the next that happened was...

"really?" he spoke with his handsome voice and added "let me see then..." and the next thing happened? Alyana not expecting him do so? Jaime touched her chin and lifted her face to face him!

Then suddenly all of them got froze. Why? well they saw Alyana's teary eyed from crying already without her awareness and her slight bleeding lips bitting it from feeling embarrassed by their words!

While Jaime at the other side with his hands on her chin? The lady's face were so familiar, were so familiar to the point that he suddenly remembered if who was she who's...bothering him again!

"You!" he said with his irritated voice that shocked the 3 men witnessing the situation.

Alyana from getting froze suddenly regained her self and wanted to explain but before she could do that? Jaime let go of her chin already and left as fast as he can already.

And the 3 men one by one moved already and followed Jaime, remembering that they're Jaime's cousins! they should follow him and find out what happened that made him pissed again.

While Alyana left sitting there with her tears finally wiped her tears and faced the food served at the table, started eating it and...

"I'm poor, I don't belong here, I'm definitely not belong to his world"
