Michael's POV?
Her legs bounced and I placed my palm on her thigh. We sat in the car driving to Jadesola's childhood home. I had never been there but I made sure I was here for her now.?
She had been crying all morning and I couldn't watch her do that to herself. I couldn't watch her cry like that. Her mother, from what I remembered, was a nice woman.?
Somewhat like my mother, an old fashioned wife but the only difference between her and my mother was that she seemed repentant.
I turned to Jadesola and pulled her into my arms. She stiffened a little but relaxed a few seconds after.
"It's okay, baby. Just take deep breaths. You'll be fine and she'll be fine too. Okay?" I cupped her face and she nodded, sniffling.
"Okay"
"Good. I love you" I whispered against her lips and her lips slowly spread into a smile as she looked up at me. My heart thumped ant the sight of her. Her brown eyes looking into mine.?
