2 FROM RAGS TO RICHES!!!

Jack is the first in front turned back and looked at the others "OK guys who wants to go with me in the middle? Anyone?"

One of the people in front of jack replied arrogantly "And why should we join you? We do not even know what your ability is. I am Mark Edenglass from America and my ability is super strength, who wants to be on my team? I will select the people that suit me"

"Hypnotism" "muscle memory" "fire control" most of the people who are confident in their abilities started to shout and asking people to join their team.

Jack opened his godpanel and saw his abilities for the first time and was shocked to see 2. He has never known them, surely he has observed some signs like it's quite easier to learn and he can recover from sickness faster than an average person, but he thought it's not that unusual.

Seeing learner along with adaptation he saw hope for the future and lost his worries. Most of the people have already had rough ideas about their abilities and have already practiced it in some way.

"Everyone I am Jack Miller and I have the ability adaptation and learner. Adaptation is a type of cell evolution and all I will say for now is that it could allow me to adapt to poisoning and other DEbuff skills while learner allows me to learn faster but some details are still not shown"

The other people have a look of envy about Jack having 2 abilities instead of one.

A guy in his 30's then shouted "Those who still do not know their abilities check your god panels"

Everyone was all excited and started looking at their godpanels.

All of them can see a small intangible button in their line of sight that clearly states [godpanel].

A few seconds later, sounds of people recruiting each other have started again.

But then a boy around the age of 14 wearing a blue hoodie and black shorts approached Jack "Mister Jack, I am Ian Wong I want to join your team because I think we have the most powerful ability"

"I also have 2 abilities water affinity and water manipulation"

Jack did not expect his first recruit to have a very strong ability. "What a nice complementing ability, you are probably the strongest of us"

Ian smiled "please take care of me"

The twin from before also approached Jack and the one who was the calmest from before spoke first "Hello Jack, I am Noah Ocampo and this is my twin brother Noel Ocampo"

"Noel's ability is feral mind, it allows the User to tap into primal, unstoppable rage that allows them to perform in vastly increased capacity, taking and inflicting damage that they wouldn't in their normal state. In some cases, the user's mind descends so far into the feral rage that, mentally, they are little more than animals"

"While my ability is fear inducement, I can evoke and increase fear and horror in others causing the target's brain to release fear-inducing chemicals. The target's perception may be altered, causing them to see their environment as ominous and the user as dark and foreboding, or even seen as a monster"

Jack was quite surprised to hear the twin's abilities "Those abilities are really good for combat, there are pros and cons but I am glad to both have you. This is Ian by the way, one of the most with potential having double abilities which complement each other"

The twins glanced at Ian and nodded their head in agreement.

Ian who was the youngest smiled back at the two.

Noel turned to look at Jack with a smile "Please do take care of our twins"

"Everyone, I plan to choose the middle because we have different type of abilities and it suits us well do you have any objections?"

The three boys did not say anything and Jack proceeded "alright everyone lets go before we lose a good spot"

The four boys entered the middle portal and teleported to another selection of portals. Jack went to check the data written on each portal and found that the only difference in the portal is the sizes so eventually Noel, Ian and Jack decided to pick the biggest world while Noah is the only one who insisted to go to a medium size. It is 3 against 1 so basically, they went in the portal 7 which is the biggest amongst the worlds that are available.

Just after the 4 went in, another guy followed them in the 7th portal without them knowing.

Jack opened his eyes finding himself in the middle of the farm with dirty clothes then the memories of the previous body user came rushing back to him. He looks basically just like a 3-year-old with ragged clothes but still good looking facial features but has a haircut of semi-bald. Still black hair, and semi-tanned skin, but now he has blue eyes.

"HUH WHAT! are you f.... kidding me I'm born poor?!"

"for that stupid god of luck to make me this way I will sue you to the court of gods when I meet you!"

Jack turned his head towards the sound and found a girl of the same age as him and recognized this girl as his cousin in his father side name Aiko Kinsmith. Aiko has ragged clothes but it cannot hide the beauty that is starting to bloom based on her facial features.

"Aiko I am ok :D"

"Jack are you sure?" Aiko looks flustered looking at Jack.

"Aiko lets go home I think this punishment from dada is pointless I almost passed on from heat exhaustion"

Aiko clench her fist and struck at Jack's head

"I already told you that you only need to stay here for 15 minutes BUT YOU INSISTED ON STAYING FOR 4 HOURS!"

Jack touching his forehead cannot believe he stayed that long thinking is that the reason how he died unconsciously.

"Anyway we should go back I bet dada came back already"

Jack and Aiko went back home to the outer parts of the Ignizio clan manor. A house that is fairly small is where he along with his father is living.
