New years of pain

New years new day of waiting for Japan to open its border. While there would be announcement on the mid January, lots of people in the community waiting for the announcement with low expectation and no hope of Japan opening up.

The new variant of virus did entered Japan and started to spread into Japan, while the demon lord was trying to continue the ban and considering the quasi state of emergency unlike other countries. This made Japan become the strictest in border control among the G7 countries.

Sung was waiting hopelessly when he saw a tweet about leaks on the Japan travel ban to be extended until end of february with a special exemptions towards some of the people. This special exemptions was still discussed between the parlimentary members and the demon lord.

At last after nearly waiting for 6 months to enter Japans, he started his online class due to all of his hope being gone now. At least he could study japanese while he was still not in Japan so when he was at Japan, he could communicate and live more easily in Japan.

Some of the leaks that were out there was apparently true. The demon lord had decided to extend the ban until *at least* late February. And the exemption was announced just for the students who almost graduated for university or high school while the truth to be told, the community knew that the demon lord won't allowed all the foreign students to came in no matter what happened since the thing that the demon lord was caring about was the approval rate. The only exemption that the community saw was the special exemption for the government funded foreign students in which it wasn't their fault for that it was the demon lord. The worst was that only 87 out of 140000 international students were Japan able to let in in a month while for Olympics, things were different.

Sung : You see, Japan during olympic times could let in up to 90000 athletes for one month. Then why couldn't they did that to foreigners then? Is the demon lord really that xenophobic towards foreigners??

The mongolian people who wishes to travel to Japan had already started their demonstration at the japanese embassy and had been applauded by the community.  The voices of the Mongolians was the bit of hopes that Japan might open up the border for foreigners.

Even the emperor was against this ban too. The emperor uses pun to send the message that Japan needed to open up in order for the country to become a strong country again.
