Fighting thorigh depression

(Trigger warning for depression and suicide)

The frustration, the unfair system, and the xenophobia of Japan was causing Sung to felt depressed. Worst of all, the depression made him thought of the decision that he made and why he lived right now.

Sung : This is such a tiring thing. Feels like I am in infinity loop of circus. So much nonsense spout by the government. Why do I have to go through this nonsense? I just want to die.

To try to copes with depression, he tried to cut through the blood vessel in the hand to try to commit suicide. Of course that wasn't working as his friends and families always came to his rescue. He was being told off by his parents for not loving his own life a lot more and try to instead of thinking about killing himself try to do something more productive.

Sung friends : I know now you are in such a precarious situation. But rather than trying to kill yourself, why not try to develop new skills like painting, cooking, learn programming. Also try to meditate and sometimes instead of reading this toxic comments on Twitter, why not try to avoid seeing this things for a while and take a break? Maybe just go travel somewhere and enjoy your holiday and be happy again.

After listening to him, Sung started to think on whether his decision on ending his life early was right. He also started to think view his friend differently. He also felt thankful his friends that was already in Japan. And in the end, they mend their relationship and be best friends again.

He also started to join meditation class and be much more happy and less depressed.

With all the problem in his life, the mindset of accepting the situation and to let fate decide his life was still a little difficult for Sung to accept. But with all the comfort he was getting from his families and friends, he started to be able to accept the true reality while still fighting for the injustice system.

During that time, Lyla, one of the person affected by this ban, was also depressed. And he find Sung to talk to on direct message in Twitter.

Lyla : What should I do? I can't take this nonsense anymore I want to die now.

Sung : Why should you die now? If you commit suicide now, the demon lord(prime minister) will win. What I would suggest you to do is to accept reality and also try to benefit from this ban.

This words also help Lyla from commiting suicide and also she started to be happy too. In the end this ban not only affect this 2 people but it affects a lot more people. And with people who can't accept reality, they would try to commit suicide as the last resort even though there was much more that they could do instead of committing suicide. And in the end, if anyone in the community was struggling with their mental health, what would be best to do was to find a person in the community suffering from the ban to talk to and try to accept reality while fighting against the ban.
