Chapter 1 - Grey Matter

The time Izuku talked to Shota Aizawa he was six, he... borrowed his mum's phone after he got home. He wanted to talk to someone because he had a bad day, he was used to the bullying but just because he wasn't allowed to use his quirk didn't mean he didn't have one! Normally though Kacchan would stand up for him but for the last few weeks he was drifting away. He waited as the phone ringed using the number he had gotten from the note, Izuku paused, was he really doing this? Going behind his Mum's back to cal-

"Hello, who is this?"

"Uhh, I-I am Izuku Midoriya"

"Oh, I was wondering when you were going to call me"

"I'm sorry... I've been busy"

"You don't have to lie, I have your file"

"I want to be a hero" Izuku shouted to Aizawa through the phone.

"Calm down kid, somehow you're being louder than Hizashi. I'll tell you what, after school tomorrow I'll come your house and take you to a safe place for you to use your quirk" Aizawa said. "I can't. My Mum doesn't want me to use my quirk" Izuku said sadly.

"I'll figure something out so don't sweat it" Aizawa said as nicely as he could.

"THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU" Izuku yelled.

There was a knock at the door. Inko hurriedly made her way to the door to open it, school just finished and this should be Izuku. Because of incident she had been more protective of Izuku, even she knew that but who could blame her? Someone had to look after Izuku and make sure he doesn't use his quirk again.

"Izuku, your fathe- Oh, hello I am Inko Midoriya, you are" She said to a homeless looking man.

"Miss Midoriya I am Shota Aizawa, I am Izuku's mandated QWL teacher. I am here to take him a safe place to use his quirk". He said while walking inside.

"I'm sorry but I can't let you take my son"

"I understand that this is our first meeting but that is not because of me. If you had contacted me prior to this visit but that is not for now, I assure you that I'm qualified to help your son" Aizawa said in a neutral tone.

"How dare you! Only I can control Izuku so you can stuff your 'qualifications' and stick them where the sun doesn't shine!" Inko yelled.

"I understand your fears but I am a certified teacher (dispite not having any experience), hero and have an eraser type quirk. No one is best suited than me" Aizawa said while looking Inko in the eye.

"Mum I'm home... Hello" Izuku said walking into the apartment.

"Come with me. I'm Shota Aizawa, I'm your QWL teacher. We are leaving" He said glaring at Inko.

"Are you sure? Shouldn't we talk about just my quir-"

"Enough. I understand that you don't want to but I am here you nothing will happened." Aizawa said exasperated.

Izuku realised that he wouldn't win so he closed his eyes. Aizawa had to wait a few seconds but eventual Izuku eyes are glowing green, than in a bright green light covered Izuku and in his place was... a small grey fur clad frog like humaniod.

"Izuku, are you ok?" Aizawa asked.

"I-I-I... I need your phone" Izuku manged to say in husky voice with puffs of smoke come out of his mouth.

"He--"

"Stop, the gas is posinous, just give me your phone and leave" Izuku said with even more gas leaving his mouth. Aizawa threw him his phone and ran from the room. Luckly the room had a glass wall so Aizawa went into the adjacent room to see Izuku still in his frog form with is eyes glowing blue, the phone was psychicly taking itself apart. Remaking it using technopathy Izuku made it project holograms. Seeing the Izuku just made a device that while wasn't impossible - in fact many intelligent quirk users had such devices - but he also had technopathy was unusual. There was a lound knock on the door interrupting Aizawa's thoughts, noticing Izuku wasn't in view he put two and two together and open the door for him.

"Her. I need her" Izuku said while pushing the not-phone with it saying two things.
