The Three Commandments

(Izuku's point of view)

After I saw the statue, I saw that it's eyes were glowing while looking at us. I felt a chill run down my spine, this wasn't anything new, since my time of entering so many dungeons and always being close to death, I was able to feel it sometimes when death was near. This felt like one of those moments.

"Everyone, get down!!!! " I scream on top of my lungs and then fall down into groveling position.

Many of us, who heard me also knelt down, suddenly, I saw a steak ok light being emitted from the large stone statue.

After a while, the light had stopped emitting from the large statue, relieved, I look at the other members of the group and see that a few were missing, only 13 people were there.

Suddenly I heard a scream from one of the girls in the group, she saw a burnt hand lying on the ground, all cut off.

I remembered then, what the stone tablet said, it said something about some commandments. Right! They were worship the Lord, praise the Lord , and prove your faith.

' Worship? Is that why it stopped shooting at us once we all knelt down? ' I think to myself.

Before I could say anything, Bakugou began shouting all angrily at the statue and claimed that he will destroy it, one of his stronger friends also joined with him and jumped at the statue to fight it.

I saw the eyes of the statue glow again. Bakugou noticed it too and quickly got out of the way. But unfortunately, his friend was not that fast, he was blasted away by the beam of light and we all saw only his legs remaining.

Some people of the group quickly went to the angry bakugou who somehow went completely silent and held him down. The statue stopped again.

"I think I have an idea. " I said. "Everyone, we have to do as that stone tablet said to do. I think by worship, it means that we have to grovel in front of it. " I added.

Everyone showed a little hesitation, but followed my word later. It was only Bakugou whom four people had to hold down just so he doesn't go off at the statues again.

After everyone had been groveling in front of the statue for some time, I looked up to see that his eyes which were glowing , stopped .

Suddenly, his expression changed.

It went from no expression to full-on creepy, his smile so wide it almost reached the end of his face, and then it stopped, for a while it was completely silent. So much so that even a pin-drop could be heard.

But it was just the calm before the storm. As, we all were standing silently, the large statue suddenly started to move. It was standing up.

"Hey, quick! What's the second one?" Someone asked me.

"It was 'Praise the Lord'. " I replied.

"Ohh dont worry then, you can leave that to me. You see, my papa is a father in the local church, so I know how to do it. " Someone from the crowd said as he began to move forward.

He took out a cross from around his neck and started praying after closing his eyes.

'Noo!! You are doing wrong. That's praising the wrong God '

I thought, deeply wishing I come out wrong.

While all this was going on, the statue had lifted it's leg up and was in front of the man, it the thrusted it's feet down in full speed.

In an instant, his feet came down and that person was squished underneath. Seeing this, everyone began panicking, the ones with weak hearts fell down on the ground. What else could be expected from 15 year old children.

We all started running, one of the person in the crowd tried to take cover with the statues nearby, immediately, the statue moved and sliced the person in half.

' If we stay in the center, the large statue will crush us, if we go near the other statues, they will kill us, this is no god, it's the devil. ' I thought to myself, looking around for any means to escape or survive this.

But then I saw one with a musical instrument, ' What? Will they also attack with musical instruments? ' I thought.

Only one way to find out, I guess. "Everyone, get infront of the statues with musical instruments." I screamed at everyone.

Bakugou was the first, when he went in front of the statue with a violin, it started playing it, similarly it happened with other four statues.

I looked at the large statue to see some change. But it was still not stopping, I looked around, everyone was infront of a statue with a musical instrument, only I was left. The statue then looked towards me and started running towards me.

I looked around while running to find anything usefull, then I saw one statue without any instruments or weapons,

"Well, here goes nothing. " I said and began running towards it while dodging the large one.

When running , I saw the giant foot above me and to avoid it, I tried to slide past. Luckily, I was able to dodge the foot, but in all the hustle, I forgot looking at where I was going.

"Hey nerd! That isn't a musical instrument! " I heard a loud yell from Bakugou.

' SHIT!! it was one with a shield. ' I thought, as I saw the statue slamming its shield into the ground.

I don't know wether it was the will to live or whatever it was, but i kept on crawling towards the statue.

' If there is a God, then please help me. ' I thought to myself.

Then I just heard a voice coming from the statue, it was singing. it's appearance that like an angel

I tried to take support from the statue and looked at the large statue, it was going back to it's seat and sitting down. Still with the same errie expression.

Suddenly, I heard a loud scream from someone.

"EEEEKKKK!!! Your leg!! " A girl screamed.

I look down to see what had happened. Apparently, my right leg was cut off. Maybe I didn't feel that because of all the adrenaline in my body.

That girl had some healing powers, so she tried to heal me or do something about the bleeding. This caused her to get a nosebleed and almost faint, but the bleeding had stopped somewhat.

(Third person perspective)

Of the the 17 people that entered the room, only 6 people were remaining, the rest's bodies were lying around everywhere and some had straight up vanished.

As soon as the statue sat down, a large circular altar started to form in the center of the room.

" What is that? " Someone from the group asked.

"It's an altar, it's for the third commandment, 'prove your faith'. " Izuku said to him.

"You don't have to say anything more, even though I may not be that intelegent, but I can guess what it means. We have to offer a sacrifice, right? " He said to me.

"Yeah, you are correct. " Izuku replied.

" If anyone here has to die as sacrifice, it has to be Bakugou, after all, he was the one who dragged us all here " He said while aiming his fingers at Bakugou. His quirk was fingerguns and he could shoot bullets from his

"All right, fine. Do as you wish, I'm gonna survive this and then become the strongest hero " Bakugou said and started moving towards the altar, with the other guy behind him.
