Prologue : Itachi Rebirth

Itachi watched his body which was slowly disintegrating since he ended the Edo Tensei. He had said goodbye to his little brother and even confessed to him all his deep secrets. He could tell that a little weight had been taken from his heart but the regret for his choices was still there. Pain, Regret, Love... All that weighed deep in his soul. He would have liked to have a second chance by going back in time without repeating the same mistake and atoned for his sins.

But unfortunately it was too late. He's about to disappear. Before he left this world for good, he gave his little brother a last warm smile before being surrounded completely in darkness.

'So I am dead for good. These little lights in the dark would be the different paths to hell and heaven? It's attractive...' He wanted to reach out his nonexistent hand to grab one of the light sources but he couldn't move.

'I forgot I was dead so I have no more command over my body. I'm pretty stupid' he mentally sighed before feeling his body being sucked into one of the lights.

'My time has come, I guess.' He waited patiently to be sucked in by that little light until he stepped into it.

'How the hell is that?' After a few seconds of dazzling by the strong light, he opened his eyes again to notice that he was in a cradle in front of a door.

'Where am I ? Hell shouldn't be that quiet normally.' He tried to move his body, but without response. He therefore reviewed his environment and then after some thoughts, he seems to understand more or less what was happening.

'Why did I find myself in a baby's body? I have no control over my body at the same time moving my limbs on my own.' looking at his little hands in front of his eyes he mentally sighed.

Then suddenly, the door in front of him opened to reveal a beautiful, charming brunette woman who was rather young by his estimates. She had a surprised and excited look on her face when she noticed it.

"Honey ! Come see ! Someone left a baby outside our door !" the woman exclaimed to her husband who was about to come. She had taken the baby in her arms and then she had noticed a small sheet on it with "Uchiha Itachi" written on it.

"It even has your name on it ! It's decided, I will raise you as our future child. You will be Leywin Itachi for now but you can change your name in the future if you wish." she told him with a warm look as her husband had just arrived.

"Is there a problem, Alice?" He noticed the baby in her hands and then exclaimed in surprise, "Wow! So this is the baby you found ! He's pretty cute on top of that and have similar hair than you. You want to adopt him ?" the husband was not against the idea of ​​having a son.

"Of course ! He will be the older adoptive brother of our next child ! Little Itachi, you will be responsible for your future siblings, okay ?" Did she tell him with a smile while touching his stomach.

"Call me daddy to see." the husband was impatient and wanted to be called father.

"Hey, he's just a Rey baby, he can't speak." she said with a threatening smile.

"Hahaha..." the father laughed nervously, scratching his head.

Itachi had arrived in this world for two months. He was a healthy child, his appearance had not changed as he had kept the dark black hair appearance. His eyes were onyx like before keeping the 2 lines marked under his eyes. His new family was loving and that was all he hoped he wouldn't make the same mistakes again. His foster mother, Alice, was a gentle and caring person who reminded him of his mother from his past life. His father, Reynolds, was a reliable and charismatic man without recounting the awkward moments. Although he still couldn't interact with his body the way he wanted, he still gathered information about his location.

First of all, he knew he was not in his previous world. His mother had already taken him to town for a walk or to go shopping and in no case had he seen these landscapes or these urban places in the elemental nations. He had also discovered that he could not use the chakra but he discovered something called "magic" in the books of his house. Ever since his mother had her thumb groomed when she cut herself with a knife while preparing dinner, he was curious about what it was and so did his personal 4-legged research in his room to find out read books.

He had discovered that there were several races in this world. It was a different political system from its old world. After all, the peace is pretty long-lasting here, isn't it ? He looked at the various information on these peoples. (He lives in the same house as Arthur so finding the same information makes sense.)

There were 3 kingdoms which were the most important:

-Elenoir, the kingdom of the elves, deep in the forest.

-Darv, a vast underground kingdom and currently the residence of the dwarves.

-And then Sapin, the human kingdom, and obviously the most populous region on the continent.

This world had a system of monarchy. Which was slightly different from his previous world in that the Hokage is a person recognized by others while a king is determined directly by a person of the royal family. But the function was pretty much the same.

This continent was a little more advanced than the elemental nations but still in a similar time, in his opinion.

But as said before, the most important thing in this world is magic. The chakra is the combination of 2 energies, also called "physical energy" and "spiritual energy". The chakra can be produced inside the body while the mana must be absorbed from the environment. Kind of like the natural energy of his old world.

Unlike the Chakra which can be by everyone, magic is often linked to genetics which is about 1 in 100 people who have mana and therefore cannot be used by everyone, according to the books.

Mana also has different ways of being used like the Chakra. The 2 most used methods are "Reinforcement" and "Invocation".

Boost users use mana to improve the body. Strength, agility and defense become more powerful and useful for close combat. It is their weak point, the force is useless if the adversary

is not within their reach.

Mana summoners release mana around them, like ninjutsu. Thus allowing them to bend the environment to their will. They must, however, supplement their own mana core with mana from the environment around them to form a spell. His mother had a special category of magic nicknamed "Deviant" more precisely, a healer. This magic allows him to heal wounds as stated in the name.

The first awakening of a mage usually occurs in adolescence. When a mana core manifests, the core principle is simply to collect the mana into a single point. The chakra had to be circulated in the body, but the concept was quite similar knowing that there is a source of chakra in the body. He might be able to manage to have mana at a young age despite the risks but he didn't care as he was confident in his abilities.

Itachi took a deep breath and then began to place himself in a position of meditation in an attempt to feel mana shards in his body. After a few minutes, he started to see small particles around him.

'So the concept was that simple. I will explore the subject further tomorrow. For now I have to go back to my cradle before I get caught by my mother...' he was walking towards his cradle, crawling on the ground. He tried to climb into his crib but before that happened he felt a chill in his spine.

"I-ta-chi~! You're still having fun getting out of your crib again I see. You're gonna make me worry if you do that again you know ? It's dinner, so you have to get us. join to grow well, okay ? But before that... I have to change your diaper !" The mother picked up Itachi's babies and then started to take him into the living room to change his diaper.

'To say that an elite ninja and an S-class criminal like me ends up being changed diapers... that's pretty embarrassing.' Itachi was slightly embarrassed but kept his cool.

'My little brother will be born soon. I won't make the same mistake twice and this time I will protect him and make him strong enough to protect himself.' Itachi thought, looking at his mother's bulging stomach.
