Chapter 3: Duel

Yuki, concerned, spoke to Itachi, "You really don't need to fight him, my lord."

Itachi smiled and replied, "If I don't put him in his place, he'll only be a problem."

"Okay," Yuki conceded, "why not fight in the training yard, my lord?"

"Alright, then. Let's fight there," Itachi agreed, and Haruto escorted him to the training field.

Haruto taunted, "Are you ready to die, Demon King?"

Itachi smirked, "You can try."

Without hesitation, Haruto charged ahead, launching an attack at Itachi. Itachi swiftly dodged the attack and countered with a kick that sent Haruto sprawling.

Haruto, undeterred, declared, "So you have some skill, but you can't stop this. Water Magic: Water Wave!"

Itachi responded, forming a hand seal, "Fire Style: Fireball!"

Haruto: "So you can use fire. You might have stopped my water magic, but how about this one? Earth Magic: Giant Golem!"

Itachi remained composed, responding swiftly, "Fire Style: Black Ash."

Itachi blew out a dense fog of ashes and ignited them with a snap of his teeth. Haruto's giant golem crumbled and was destroyed in a matter of seconds.

Yuki walked up to Itachi and declared, "The winner is the Demon Lord."
