'Need to strike hard.' #I only like happy stories with lots of dog food and possessiveness. (Not in a toxic way but in cute way). #I don't like stories with revenge, or hatred drama. Neither do I like humiliating stuff much. #The cover page is not mine. #Last but not the least, English is not my first language, so forgive me.

Will stay

Krish was stunned to see those happy faces. All these years all he knows about his parents is from his uncle. Infact all the pictures he had ever seen of their father and mother were on the internet.

This is the first time he had seen his parent's this intimate smile. What surprised him the most was his picture with both of them. Nora never brought any albums with them abroad.

He never got the chance to see his parents actually. However now that photo brought a strange feeling inside him.

"They look so young."

"They were young." Nora replied slowly.

"But died..."

"..." He spoke lightly but Nora heard him clearly. But got nothing to say. They did died very young.

Stepping down from the stool she walked to his side. She got dumbfounded after seeing her brother crying. Wasting not a second she immediately bent down on her knees and hugged him tightly.

Her hug instantly made him cry more. Circling around her sister's neck with arms he spoke. "I also want my parents to be alive."

Other days he doesn't talk about his past events because he had never seen his past with his parents. However right now in front of him his whole past is standing and all he felt was to cry. His breath was all irregular.

"..." Biting her lower lips Nora tried her best to not show her weak side to her brother. Otherwise she is sure that he would not be able to handle himself at all.

After crying for five minutes straight, he called her. "Sister."

"Hmm?"

"I don't wanna go."

Nora separated herself from her. Looking straight to his eyes she squinted. "Hmm?"

"I want to stay." He repeated.

Earlier he really had no place or no one to say as his parents. He knew nothing about it or about them. But right now he knows. He knows whom to call as his parents, or the place as his home. He doesn't want to leave such a place ever again.

Nora looked at his eyes and nodded. "...Okay."

***

"Made the arrangements. We are not going back?" Nora spoke from the other side of the phone.

"Huh?" Carter's voice lost its pitch as he almost shouted with his question.

"We will stay. I opened the locker and all those contract papers is in my hand. Take it away from the hotel reception."

After talking to Krish, Nora showed him his old room. Making him busy with his stuff, she immediately went to the study room of his father before going for the locker.

Taking out all the important documents with her, she went back with Krish to the hotel. As it was still noon she read each document before calling Carter.

Karan had tried very hard to hide it well, but he could not keep everything away from the eyes of Nora. To give a proper finish he had arranged for all the dust on clothes and on the rest of things too.

However he forgot about the contract she has in her hand. The design of the contract was all correct, but the fake is fake. She could see through all the mistakes one by one. The contract, the locker, and how her father's study room's window was used by others as their only gateway for the setup.

Nora couldn't help but laugh at the amount of hard work they put in to bring her back. Forgetting about the contracts, when Nora gave a thought on the whole situation she faced in these three days she figured how odd it was.

Things were pretty too much coincidental. All was against her from the start. Nothing could work out no matter what. Carter, Karan and Ryan, everyone had collusion.

She might be emotionally disturbed earlier but now after having no doubts and with those documents, everything got pretty clear to her.

Everything looks surreal to happen so suddenly and perfectly. As if it was all organised for this to happen. And the end was actually what Karan and Carter desperately wanted. And it happened.

Thinking about how it's actually an impossible thing for her uncle to actually break into Karan's security and steal those signed papers, it's a given fact that Karan gave them to Rahul himself.

In fact Rahul himself might not know that he is a bait for them to catch Nora. She laughed mostly because Rahul was actually an idiot they chose to use.

But she was not angry. Because she could see that after coming back to this house there has been a strange change in her. She felt very relieved. She still felt sad and emotional but not scared of facing.

Just how people say, 'she just needed to take one step, rest of journey is not that hard'. That feeling, that relief she had never felt before.

'Sigh'

"Are you sure?" Carter asked for surety.

Nora looked outside the window. Not giving any answer for a few seconds, she sighed before saying. "...I don't know it yet. But I want to try."

Carter pursed his lips and tried his best to not squeal in happiness. He couldn't believe his ears. Looking at the person sitting right in front of him, he showed his thumbs up and put the phone on speaker. "Okay. I'll get the mansion clean. But before all that, you have to meet Karan once. You have to go to court too."
