Ugly

That night, I couldn't sleep. Though I tried to pretend that I'm sleeping so my mother and sister won't notice. It wasn't a cold night but my body was shivering with fear.

"Why me? I kept on asking.

But even repeating the question in my head over and over again won't solve the problem I'm in. I thought about running away but my family will get hurt and that's when I realized that I'm trapped from all sides and the only solution was to accept my fate.

Suddenly we heard a loud knocking on the door and I was the first one to get up quickly and rush towards the door to see who was knocking like that. It couldn't be my drunken father as he has a key with him.

Opening the door, I was welcomed by the sight of my father drunken and a woman standing behind him dressed in expensive clothes.

"Excuse me for coming at such a late time." The woman said.
