Preview of Alex and Amber story

Amber POV.

It was dinner time when I received the call. Alexander wasn't at home. He said he would be late. This gives me the chance to sneak out without being noticed.

Oh, who am I kidding? Alexander men will spot me the moment I step out of the house. Picking up my bag, I turned off my phone and walked out of the room.

The servant will ask where I'm going and I'm going to lie as always that I'm going to my friend's house, Olivia, which actually is not my friend. Her rule is part of the dirty game that I was forcibly subjected to a year ago.

Getting inside my car, I started the engine and drove towards the olive house. I was frightened knowing what was waiting for me there. I kept screaming and cursing the whole ride. Crying in fear, regretting what I've done. But I had no choice, my family was in danger and this was the only way to save them.

Save, no. They were just temporarily safe if I followed the game rules correctly, but I messed up.

Stopping the car in front of Olivia's house, I got out of the car and started walking towards the house entrance. My legs were getting heavy with every step I took, my heart was pounding fast in my chest and it made me dizzy. I felt like I was going to lose consciousness at any second but it didn't happen.

The door opened even before I rang the bell, they were waiting for me.

"You're late." Olivia said."Hurry, the Mayor is waiting." She added, going back inside, and leaving the door open for me.

Great fear took over me knowing that the disgusting old man was here. I wanted to run away, but I couldn't. His men will easily catch me. I followed Olivia inside, heading towards the living room, where everyone was there. The mayor was sitting on the couch, ogling me with his disgusting eyes

"Welcome Amber. We haven't seen each other in a while." The mayor said and I just stood there rooted to the ground in fear.

"Why are you standing there? Come sit next." The mayor said.

My heart dropped but I dragged my legs, sitting beside him but not too close, hoping to create a space between us. But it went in vain.

"Don't sit away from me." He pulled me closer to him by the waist and I felt like throwing up."Look at you, you're shaking. Poor little thing." He said, his grip tightening around my waist to the point that it started to become painful.

"You're hurting me." I said, trying to remove his hand but it only made him tighten his grip more, forcing me to whimper in pain."P–please…" I bagged him.

"You didn't seem to mind Alexander De-Martin fucking you like a savage. hmm." He said, pulling my hair, he forced me to look up at him and I cried in pain, tears blurring my sight."I watch that video almost every day. I must admit, you looked so damn sexy."

I heard his men laughing behind me and at that moment I felt numb, I stopped feeling the pain and everything around me. The only thing I felt was self-loathing.

Yes, I dared to record on camera Alexander and I having sex. He still doesn't know anything about what I did. I know what I did was wrong but if you were in my place you might do the same and more.

"This is your last warning. Do as you were ordered or your family will be killed." The mayor threatened me.

And that is exactly what happened, a week after that night. Everything changed and my life ended.

"Now go." The mayor pushed me on the ground.

I gathered every last bit of strength left in me and pulled myself up. I was about to leave when I heard the mayor say.

"Give him two pills of this and record everything. Make sure you set the camera at a good angle. Just blend it with any kind of juice."

Olivia walked towards me and handed me a medicine tablet. I took it and didn't ask what the medicine was. All I wanted right now was to leave this place as fast as I could.

Getting inside the car, I drove straight towards the villa. I couldn't think about anything. My mind was blank. All I knew was that I was scared and just wanted to see Alexander.

I entered the villa and headed straight towards my room. It was almost two in the morning but luckily Alexander hadn't come back. Locking the door behind me, I took out my phone, turned it on, took out the medicine tablet, and Googled it. My eyes widened as I read the search results.

Suddenly my phone started vibrating. It was my sister, Lily. But why is she calling at this time?

"Lily." I replied, fear evident in my voice.

"Sister, why is your phone turned off?"Lily asked, her voice shaking and Immediately knew that something happened.

"Are you okay? Is mom okay?" I asked , I didn't bother to ask about my father.

"We're fine, but those men came by and threatened Father again. Why they came? Didn't you pay the debt?" Lily said.

It was the mayor's doing. Another threat.

"I'll take care of everything. Don't worry." I said before I ended the call and texted Alexander asking him when he was coming back.

Tonight will be our last night. Tonight I'll end everything.
