The damage I did

The next morning. Petal and Ethan left the countryside house early in the morning. He told her that there's a place he wants her to see. She noticed that Ethan had a hint of nervousness in his eyes and his behavior this morning. It made her think that he is going to propose to her. 

Inside the SUV bulletproof car. Petal leaned against the window watching the people and buildings passing by. The snow was covering everything. The houses and the roads. Even the cars. This winter felt different. She thought to herself. Ethan made it different. 

Turning to look at him. She saw him smiling at her. Ethan reached for her hand and she took it letting him pull her close to him."Where are you going." Petal asked. signaling.

"You will see when we reach there." He replied not answering her."If I told it won't be a surprise." Ethan added kissing her knuckles.
