Day to ready

Tuesday morning came quickly. The three members of Sky's team. Spent the day going over and over the plans.

Alex practiced how to get out of the cuffs and kill who was in the room. The cuffs were easy, killing before he he could escape the room was not.

Not knowing how many men would be in the room he had to keep upping his strategy.

The paint bullets came at him again and again. His body acked with each time Sky and Beth hit him.

He had to do this to be worthy of the woman he fell in love with.

Beth studied everything over and over providing input on how to improve. She was the queen of strategy.

By the end of the day Alex was wore out and ready to lay next to his love for the night. He hoped this was enough to get her back safe and eliminate the threat.

Jack still had no word from Alex. It was hard running this without his friend. He just hoped that everything would work at soon when he received a call from the lobby.

"Mr. Freeman, Julie is her to see you." The receptionist said.

Julie, what is she doing here is was overseas at a fashion designer school. She did not tell him she was coming home.

"Send her up please." He said

A few minutes went by and in walked one of the prettiest girls in Jack's life. She had been the apple of his eye since she was born.

"Julie why did you not tell me you were visiting. I would of picked you up at the airport" He said as he hugged her tight.

"I wanted to surprise you and Alex. And it's not a visit. I have a job at Le'Blue as one of their designers. I have a place to live and all now." She pulled him to the couch to sit.

"Where is my other brother from a different mother?" she laughed.

"Gone a few days on a problem we got into."He then realized that she would be endanger too.

"What have you two gotten into now?" She asked.

"First tell me when do you start work?" his face went blank.

His question scared her, "Monday morning why? Jack your scaring me."

His face lighted up at the news, "Good then we will go visit the Poe's home and you will stay with then a few days. AJ will be very happy to have auntie Julie. "

She knew better to argue with him so she just went with it.

As they drove out of town to the Poe's Home they talked about what she had and what was doing.

"Julie, there is someone staying with the Poe's that I want you to meet. I think I found the one ." He said hopeing to get a good reaction.

"So you desided to give up on being a cad. She must be someone strong to get you to change your ways. " She said smiling at him.

They had to travel threw three check points to get to the mansion. Senior Poe was leaving nothing to chance when it came to the safety of his family.

Julie was tackled when she stepped foot in the with a little monster yelling her name.

"Julie, your here, I missed you." AJ hugged her legs almost knocking her over.

"Hey who is this little monster, help AJ a monster got me", she yelled while trying not to laugh.

"I'm no monster Julie its me." He looked up unto her eyes.

She bent down and picked the boy up," So it is my AJ." She gave him a big kiss.

"AJ let Julie in go finish your painting for Beth." Mary scolded the child.

With a long face, "Yes Nana, Julie you'll stay awhile and play with me later." he asked.

"You bet, I could not disappoint my best boyfriend now could I." She put the child down and he ran off.

"He got a new girlfriend? Who's Beth?" She said as she hugged Mary.

"Alex's girlfriend, she is great. AJ is head over heels for her to be his mother. Alex seems to have finally moved on from Lilly." She walk arm and arm to the livingroom with Julie.

As they entered the room there sat a young girl about her age reading a book in the window seat. She was pretty. The girl looked up and smiled then continued reading.

"Who's the girl? That can't be Beth?"She whispers to Mary.

Mary Laughs. "No, that one is Sarah, she stole you brothers heart."

Julie's eyes got big, no way this was a little mouse. Her brother like strong independent women. He hated women who could not take after themselves.

She watch her brother walk in the room and walk over to the girl. He bent down and kissed her cheek.

"How you doing? I missed you" Jack said as Sarah's eyes brightened up.

"Fine, I miss my kids and can't wait to get to know you better." She stood up and gave him a hug.

"I want you to meet some one," he said pulling her over to were Mary and his sister was setting.

"Sarah, this is my little sister Julie. Julie, this beautiful woman is Sarah. " Jack pulled Sarah down next to him on the sofa across from Mary and Julie.

"It's nice to meet you Julie." Sarah said.

" Like wise. Tell me Sarah how did you meet my big bro." Julie asked.

Sarah smiled and took Jacks hand. "He was my knight in shining armor. I don't know where I would be if he did not save me."

"Now I know this is a big joke, ha ha ha, you got me good this time bro."Julie was laughing.

The group just looked at her. Jack was puzzled why was she acting this way.

"I knew you were pulling my leg cause this little girl is nothing like the women you date. No way you date a geek like that." Julie laughed.

Sarah got up, tears forming in her eyes she ran out. She knew all this was to good to be true. Why did she hope he would be kind to her heart.

"Sarah stop" Jack yelled but she kept running. He turned to his sister, "Why would you say that, I really like this girl and I want to be with her. I think the reason I love her is she not what I use to date. She is so much better." He walked out to look for his girl.

Julie was stunned this wasn't a joke at all. " What happened to him?" she asked Mary.

"He grew up a little. A man does not want to take care of someone he can't see staying in his life. That mean he is thinking she is long term life companion." Mary said.

"Oh I need to apologize to her don't I." Julie want to hide in a hole.
