Call the Police
Everyone exhaled a sigh of relief when Madam Lu finally stopped shouting. Principal He shifted his gaze away from Teacher Wu and looked toward Su Anya. He stated calmly, "Student Su Anya, right? Tell us if you have any animosity toward Lu Qing. Did you send someone to beat him?"
"Explain everything to the principal. Don't be worried." Su Anya was cheered up by Teacher Wu.
Su Anya nodded immediately. She then walked out from behind Teacher Wu to the front, unafraid. Her petite frame was straight, and her back view was neither servile nor overbearing.
"I have no ill will against Lu Qing and did not send anyone to beat him up." She paused before saying, "In fact, Lu Qing was the one who made things difficult for me. He even spread rumors that I had cheated in the coding competition last year. So he must be trying to smear my reputation this time." Her eyes turned bright red as she spoke.
Lu Qing spat a mouthful of blood at her pitiful expression. If she hadn't beaten him, he would have fallen for her pitiful act.
"Nonsense! She is lying because I haven't done anything." Lu Qing became enraged.
"I'm not lying; Teacher Li could testify. He is aware that everyone in the class suspects me of cheating." Su Anya mentioned this.
Teacher Li was taken aback when he heard his name. He felt a little guilty because, due to his carelessness, the student in his class had gone a little too far.
"That is correct. Students, including Lu Qing, were accusing her of cheating." With some remorse, Teacher Li stated.
"Why are you so shameless at such a young age? Do you feel guilty about cheating? You should have been expelled from school a long time ago." Madam Lu didn't believe Su Anya. Her son had already informed her that Su Anya's character is not good.
"Guilty? What do I have to feel guilty about?" Su Anya didn't give a damn about Lu Qing's mother. "If you don't have the ability to achieve anything, you always want to find fault in others who are better than you."
"What exactly do you mean, Su Anya? Are you saying I'm a cranky loser?" Lu Qing was furious.
"Listen to this, please." Madam Lu directed her finger at Su Anya and told the teachers, "Take a look at her mannerisms. Is she deserving of attending this school? Huh?"
Teacher Wu ignored Madam Lu's accusation and said to the principal, "Principal He, as Su Anya's form teacher, I can assure you that she will not hire someone to beat Lu Qing. Mr. Li, her previous form teacher, agrees with me that Su Anya has always been very obedient in class and has never provoked others."
Teacher Wu had been teaching at the school for many years, and everyone knew her personality. Everyone chose to believe her because she had stood up for Su Anya.
Madam Lu flared up yet again. She ran up to Teacher Wu and exclaimed, "What do you mean? Why do you believe she is telling the truth and my son is trying to deceive? Simply because you believe she is obedient? Let me tell you, my son is also extremely well-behaved at home." She looked at Teacher Li and said, "Why are you not defending my son as his form teacher? My son is being bullied at school; you must provide me with a satisfactory result!"
Madam Lu's saliva was all over the place. When she was angry, she did not even try to be polite and respectful to others. Teacher Li couldn't take it any longer and sternly stated, "Madam Lu, I understand you may have some misconceptions about your well-mannered son. As Lu Qing's form teacher, students come to me almost every few days to complain about Lu Qing. Teachers from other classes have also complained to me. This means that Lu Qing bullied not only his classmates but also students from other classes. As his form teacher, I had warned him and hoped that because he was young, he would choose the right path. However, I'm sorry because his attitude isn't changing. I'm afraid I can't speak up for your son."
Lu Qing was the only son in the family. His parents have spoiled him since he was a child. Madam Lu. couldn't stand it when people said negative things about her son. Furthermore, there were numerous teachers and the principal were present. No one felt sorry for her son.
"Okay, okay. I see now. This is how your school handles problems." Madam Lu frowned at Su Anya. "Don't blame me because your school can't handle this."
Madam Lu quickly took her phone from her bag and dialed a number.
"Hello? Is this the Public Security Bureau? I want to call the cops. Someone has hired goons to beat up on my son in school..."
When Lu QIng learned that his mother had called the police, he realized the gravity of the situation. He initially assumed that because of his injuries, everyone thought Su Anya had sent someone to beat him up. He didn't want to believe that Su Anya's previous cowardly character could change. His mother would scare her silly and put pressure on the school to expel her.
However, he did not anticipate that the police would be notified.
Lu QIng was well aware of who had beaten him. Lu QIng was so terrified when he saw his mother call the police that he quickly said, "Mom, don't..."
"Don't be afraid, Qing. Mom has arrived. This isn't over yet." Madam Lu cut her son off and said into the phone, "It is, indeed, City No. 1 High School. The people involved have arrived. Please act fast."
They all looked at each other when they saw Madam Lu call the cops. Headmaster Du wanted to say something, but the principal stopped him.
Madam Lu was difficult to communicate with, and it was clear that the other party wanted the school to expel Su Anya. It was preferable to let the police handle it rather than being stuck in a stalemate. There had to be a fair outcome.
Su Anya wore a serene expression on her face. Clearly, Madam Lu's decision to call the cops was akin to shooting herself in the foot. She would be embarrassed if they exposed her son's lies.
Lu Qing, on the other hand, was the most nervous. He'd done so many bad things in school but had never faced the police. He was at a loss for words now that things had developed to this point.
The officers were quick, having arrived at the principal's office in ten minutes.
