The book "It's not Paranoia!! " is completely based on supernatural powers and paranormal activities, as the name suggested. Ironically, I don't believe in most of the paranormal activities. Being a psychology student, I believe that there is always an explanation behind what people think as paranormal activities or curses. Even though there might exist some cases in which real paranormal activities have occured. But they usually are, what people say, not very exciting to be narrated and repeated. 

In this story, I tried to make everything seem real and I have taken ideas from what many people called "real life accounts". Other then that, I have added many incidents purely out of my imagination, even creating some creatures. 

Surprisingly, even the out-of-body experiences are now justified and accepted as neurological phenomena, while certain visual illusions could confound the healthy brain and create mythical beings. A young Italian psychologist, looked in the mirror one morning to find a grizzled old man staring back at him. Instead of believing as something cursed or supernatural, he experimented on this. His later experiments confirmed that the illusion is surprisingly common when you look at your reflection in the half light, perhaps because the brain struggles to construct the contours of your face, so it begins to try to fill in the missing information – even if that leads to the appearance of skulls, old hags or hideous animals.

So any combination of exhaustion, drugs, alcohol, and tricks of the light could contribute to single, isolated sightings. It is all the tick of mind and eye. There is nothing to be afraid of! 

I have used protective shield in my novel, but protective shield is just another justification from our brain, which is trying to find some proper answer, after the occurance of some tragedy, in chaos. It makes human belief about the things that don't even exist around them, just to justify some mishap. 

I truly don't believe in Clairvoyance. I don't know any explanation behind it, but I am pretty sure there is some explanation. I have never heard of any person who have claimed to be clairvoyant, and proved that claim to be true. 

This book is just for entertainment. I wrote it for fun because I love horror genre , hence I wrote this book. Where I say it is inspired by true events, I mean what people have shared their experiences.
