Chapter 1The Contract

Zailah's POV

"Well hello there Mr. Brooks" I say as the guards take off the blindfold from the face of the man seated across me.

His eyes widen when I finally walk into his view and I smirk.

"It's been so hectic to reach you these days you know that right?"

"I'm s-sorry Ms. kings I didn't mean to burden you"

"Really?...It felt like you were trying to do exactly that though"

"I'm really sorry,if you could call my lawyer I'll have him send the money to you immediately"

"Hmmm"I say pretending to think about it

Mr. Brooks ran a five star hotel with multiple braches all over the world, he initially had nothing and took a loan from my father who ran multiple businesses but whose main job was ruling the underworld. He'd taken the loan after his wife died of breast cancer and he decided he didn't want his daughter to suffer anymore.

"So...Your loan was initially 10million dollars with an interest of 1million per year and it's approximately been 12 years since then, which means your loan is currently at 22million dollars."

"All you need to do is dail my lawyers number and the money would be sent immediately"

"And what about the mental stress you put me through?"

He doesn't say anything so I take a few steps and stand behind him bending over so I'm close to his ear as I whisper

"How would you compensate me for that?"I feel him quiver and I smirk

"How bout I take a finger"I say as I signal one of the guards and he passes me a pair of black gloves and then a knife,I blow air on the knife and clean it.His eyes widen and he starts begging

"Please spare me Ms. Kings I'll send you three times the original amount, just please. I'm sorry for being selfish all this years."

"Triple the amount you say? See what you don't realize is that at this point I don't really want the money anymore"

"What?"

I smirk and say"l want something....Much more important to you, Something priceless to you"

He thinks for a while and then say's

"My daughter"

I scoff thinking 'how can men be this selfish' they impress me every damn time

I nod towards one of the guards and he hands me an envelope, I pull out a contract and place it on the table,one of the guards untie him, he walks towards the table and signs the two sheets of paper. I pick one of them,smile and say

"That wasn't so hard now Mr. Brook's was it? Send your daughter to me on Monday, I'll be waiting for her at Lay restaurant,She needs to sign the other part of the contract and pick up your copy. Tell her to be there at exactly 8pm, I hate tardiness."

I think it finally dawned on him what he'd done cause he started chewing on his lower lip eyes glued to the floor.

"You can leave whenever you like Mr. Brooks" I say as I begin to leave with my men but then I remember something and pause turning towards him

"One more thing Mr Brooks, don't even think about running...cause I'll find you and it won't be pretty" I smile at him one last time and walk off.
