It's Either You Or No One

When jasmine checked back at the wall clock, it's already past eight. She's been trying to reach her granddaughters since an hour plus, but yet none of them picked up the calls. Infact, they turned off their phones, which made jasmine became more worried. Her hair by now is now a total mess like she was struck by an electric. Hmm, yeah. Maybe electrocuted. Frustration has a lot to do with that. I guess. She grabbed the second iPhone 14 which her son, Justin, had bought for her few weeks ago before leaving for L.A, from the glass center table. At once within a blink of an eye, she began dialing her son's number.

IN THE GARDEN

By the time they got into the garden, the two competitors has gotten to the part of bench press.

Jin-joo widened her eyes and gasped in deep shock after setting her eyes on the heavy weight her father is about to lift.

"Dad-" She said while wanting to move a step of race towards him, but then her husband Sebastian held her back.

She looked at him, he smiled at her. Sebastian love the type of show which was displaying right in front of him and so his friends too.

With all arms crossed, everyone stood right where they were and watched the two old men get themselves into hard exercises.

Jin-joo tried to jerk her husband's hand away from her wrist but when he tightened his grip furthermore, she retaliated, "Really? You can't tell me that your brain is filled with bacterias obstructing your mind to think properly."

"And if my brains are stuck up with bacterias then you're left to be blame for it." He remarked without sparing a glance at her.

"Arrghh, Sebastian! My father is killing himself over something I don't know about. Seriously, I fucking have no idea why he is doing this and-" She frowned and turned her head towards her other side.

Standing right beside her was her big brother and his wife who were so endodge in the act of staring while grinning at the participants.

"Doc." She poked his arm.

He looked down at her and raised his eyebrows, "What's up little sis?"

"What's up? I think I should be asking you what's up with your brain, Mr." She snapped furiously. The sight of her standing before her father and seeing the weird things he has never done before in his lifetime, made her crazy. What if he losses his spine and end up in a wheelchair?

"Furious." He chuckled softly and rolled his eyes towards the show.

Jin-joo helplessly shook her head. "Oh there goes my beloved mother. She's doing nothing but just throwing some credit at my father."

"Hmm, do you really think your father will have this match?" Sebastian asked.

What is he doing? Pushing her to the edge? He better not be or else she is ready to lose her cool on him.

Gritting her teeths while balling her hands into a fist, Jin-joo retorted, "My father is not a lazy clump unlike some weird group of people who thinks they already had it all."

A faint smirk appeared on Sebastian's cheery lips. Jin-joo could see that but she doesn't care.

He smiled and nodded his head, "Congratulations to the woman who is legally married into the family of group of weirdos."

She narrowed her eyes. Her beast is running out of patience.

He looked down at her and peck her pouted lips. She captured his lips before it departed from hers and bit his lower lip until he winced and took it to glare at it. It was licking out a slight drop of blood.

She widened her eyes like a bad kid feeling guilty for her mistakes.

He wiped it off with his palm and took a deep breath before staring at her, "I'll take that has nothing but when it happens a second time, our bed will be left to tell the rest of the fucking story."

'Fucking story? Well let's see what's fucking Mr Sebastian Flynn.' Jin-joo dashed an hard kick on his calf and ran away.

"Ow!...fuck!" He winced while pinning his both knees together. "Come back here Mrs Sebastian Flynn!" He ran after her.

Dong-Hyun, Chung-Cha and few others who witnessed what just happened between the two silly lovebirds, quietly chuckled.

.....

"97, 98, 99....100!" They all beamed after Grayson managed to make it through all the challenge.

Stretching his body, Grayson cracked his neck and grinned at Lee whom was completely dismayed. "How was it? Huh? So you see now that I'm the winner, you'll have to abide to what's said from the start."

Oh Lee has no choice but to give in. A deal is a deal and always remains a deal.

"My Baby!" Petra squealed her way towards her husband and pounced into his embrace. Patting his chest, she smiled, "That's sweaty."

Bong-Cha chuckled as she head towards her husband. She gave him the best of pecks and patted his cheeks, "It's alright, you did really great my love."

"Someone please make us a toast here." Collins tittered.

"Dad, may I know what this was all about? Because I don't see any trophies behind." Dong-Hyun asked while approaching him.

Lee rolled his eyes at his son and made his way towards Grayson. It's time for him to buy the positive and dispose the negative things out of his wardrobe. "Acknowledge today as a day of funeral to the bad old days and fights had and let's harvest the good side yet to come out of the soil." He is readily serious to accept Sebastian and his family.

While Dong-Hyun, Bong-Cha, Collins, Petra, Laura and Grayson stood in shock with eyes and mouth opened, he smiled and raised his eyebrows, "It is time to cheer up as you said, right?"

Without saying anything, Grayson gave him a tight brotherly hug. Patting his back, he sighed in satisfaction, "It's good to have you fully into our family."

"And I'm glad we are." Pulling away, Lee grabbed two glasses of wine. Handed one to his wife and one with him, he raised it up in the air and placed the other hand on his wife's shoulders, "Cheers, shall we?"

"Of course!" They grabbed a glass and clicked it with his.
