9 Do you think universe fights for two souls to be together?

"Hey miss sunshine."

Simple words, but they left a tickling feeling in Ditto's heart. She didn't knew why she was feeling strangely attracted to a guy, who seemed to remind her of her first love,forbidden lover. She didn't knew why a stranger's words triggered get old, forgotten memories. She never saw him before, yet, when he said some vague words, feeling bloomed in her heart. Like she was missing this voice her whole life. But this is wrong, isn't it? It can't be that person again.

A last few days were restless for her, as if she was missing someone badly. She felt anxious and could not breathe normally. It was like a heavy burden was kept at her heart, she couldn't focus on anything, couldn't eat, sleep, drink, read...ahh, she was not able to do anything.

She knew all of this was wrong. She was not a married woman, but she was tied with her soul to a demon. She was not someone who could afford the luxury to love. She was an abandoned, damaged, hurt and hollow soul, and she saw herself as a bad luck, because in her whole life, whoever was close to her met a horrible fate. And all this made her morph into heartless demoness.

Her life was full of endless physical, mental and sexual abuse. In simple words, her life was HELL.

We all get up in morning, have food to eat and water to drink, air to breathe, but we all are always complaining about what we lack. There are a few who fear to sleep at night because they don't know if they will be able wake up tomorrow. There are few who haven't ever had a full-dinner. There are people out in our world, who don't have clear water to drink. This is because they were born in a place where living was a struggle and death was easy.

Ditto wasn't born at a place like that, but her fate took a horrible twist and from being her father's angle, she is now a devil's concubine.

She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth, and her family had everything that money could buy. Her features were extremely beautiful, and that made everyone dote on her more.

But as much as we all wish that we were rich and we could have the access to everything we want and think of it as a boon, this is actually a curse in disguise. When we don't work hard to gain something, our mind thinks that we are entitled to it. We overlook the fact that it takes someone their blood and sweat to earn the money we use to make ourselves happier. And even then, it doesn't make us happy, it just give us pleasure for a few moment and then we feel bored again. Because actual happiness lies in doing something, in working hard to get something and then using it. True happiness is hard to find, but when we discover it, it stays with us our whole life. But then here comes the thing about a rich kid. They get whatever they want if they say it out loud. Their parents don't have time for them, to teach them, to love them, to talk to them and make them feel what human emotions are, and these kids have everything they want, but they don't have what they need. They then start to play with others emotions, always try to buy the things they want with money and inspite of being hollow from beneath, they think they have everything. But the hard earned happiness is not something that we can buy using money.

When Ditto was a little child, she had everything. But there was no one she could share her real thoughts with. There was no one to listen to her bickering. There was no one to enjoy her childhood with her. After getting bored for a while, she started to copy other rich kids at her school. Pretty hairstyles, dresses, shoes, accessories and foods, they started a competition between them for everyones attention. And she lagged behind in the most important thing, studies. But who cares? Her parents decided to change her school for her, and her new classmates bullied her. She was beautiful and girls were worried she'll snatch their boyfriends, and boys hated her because they couldn't get her. That was when she met a boy who she fell for, head over heels, her first love. She later turned out to be a cross-dresser, who liked to portray a tough exterior of boy. But love is blind, they say.

She started to discover a new self with her new friend/girlfriend. When she realised what she did wrong most of her life, one could never imagine how much she hated herself for being a shallow person. It was her friend /girlfriend who stopped her from falling in the endless abyss of depression. Together, they built herself again. Whenever she was reminded of her past mistakes, her friend /girlfriend would always be there for her. For first time, she experienced what being actually loved felt like. Her past lose was of time and experience, and but she gained what no one could ever. True love. It went without saying. They both got their heart pierced by cupid's arrow.

We will talk about her past later sometime, because a certain someone was missing Ditto too much, and he wants our attention.

Ralph could not help but smile like a lunatic, because of their brief interaction back then. After making her aware of his existence, he turned and hid himself where she could not spot him and looked at her. He saw how lost her expression was when she tried to figure out what he said. When she mouthed the words he said to her, he saw how her lips moved up and down. He never thought that he will ever see that a beautiful lady again in her whole life, oh sorry, his whole life.

Do you think the universe fights for two souls to be together? Some things are too strange and strong to be coincidences.

Ralph was back at his office and for the first time in forever, his fellows saw him smiling.

His co-workers were shocked by his change of attitude. When he came back, he was no longer the one who radiated a chilly aura that made everyone shiver in his presence. He was looking much of his age, cheerful and bright, his life full of happiness and merriness. They even wondered that was he the same person from before?

Ralph was not aware of the change of events behind his back and was still smiling to himself.

The junior who was a trainee under him knocked at door,"Sir, May I come in?"

"so wellhk...jgd, can weljamvd,..." He was mumbling to himself.

This time, the trainee knocked a little loudly, and he was out of his daze.

"Yes?"

"Sir, the south block chief left a few documents for you and he wanted you to take a look when you are free."

"Oh, Okay okay, I will."

And the trainee walked to his desk to leave the files for him to look at, then he turned to take his leave, but Ralph's stopped him.

"Shiva, I want to ask you a few things, do you have a while?"

"Yes sure sir, anything."

"Have you heard about Shredder? Whatever you know about him, tell me in details."

"Yes Sir, I have. He is a gangster who operates in the Meling Cities and has full control over that city. His few men have also stirred trouble in our city in south block, and that is what the chief left for you."

"Oh, anything else?"

"Yes sir, this thing is not in our police information, but he also fancies beautiful ladies, and has a few concubines, one of them happens to live in our city. He is said to be particularly fond of this young lady."

"Okay. Thanks for the information, anything else sir?"

"No, but I am going to western part a little while later, accompany me later."

"Okay."

Shiva was not able to believe his luck! Ralph was a police officer who was known to work alone and even after working under him all the while, the only thing he was doing was to be in daze while looking at how he solved the most bothersome cases with ease. But today, he was going to work under his idol. What a luck!
