26 Ahh! Not You!

Adria woke up at sharp 4. She was looking forward to meet her goddess today after her classes would end. Having a to-do list in mind, she opened her laptop to find out more about General Li [1].

He was doing everything now in lowkey and meeting people, establishing connection in the government to gather power. In general, even when you don't have a good relationship with someone, but you dine together and show up in public together, people will assume you share a bonding. That's what General Li was doing right now. He was doing charity, meeting influential families, and helping public which was below poverty line by distributing food and clothes. His party didn't won the election, but still they had to maintain an image for public so that they will be considered in next election. Election was like nine months away. Just enough time to drag him in mud and then throw him in a pit filled of cobras.

Adria wasn't too sure about what this General Li had in his mind and why did her father hated him so much, but she wasn't in a position to ask about it so she let it be.

Gathering whatever she needed, she checked Rick's state. His PR was able to handle it, even though there were a good number of people with fair sense of judgment who knew that Rick was wrong but the major amount of people ,especially naive girls and boys who saw him as their god, were diverted from the topic by hired netizens that were saying that Rick, their god was just framed and he did nothing wrong. And that's that. It ended just like that. Adria wasn't bothered because she still had enough evidence, and it wasn't as if Rick would be a hindrance in her plans of breaking free her beauty.

But never underestimate your enemy, right? But who will tell our Adria about this? As the saying goes, "Everything is fair in love and war." Then this Rick guy, who's in love with Ditto, who said he won't try everything he can, to make Ditto his? Its just that in his father-in-law's home, he can't afford to do something. But if they were to gang together for her against Adria, who said he won't do everything he is capable of?

Poor Adria, she is just a human. And human makes mistakes. We'll talk about this later.

Adria dressed up as Ralph, donned a gray shirt with black pants, hair done to perfection with hair gel [2], looking like a Demigod, put on his biker jacket and left for the police station.

At office, as usual his comrades stopped their work to admire their young master. As if they were his servant and he was their Lord. And he can't be bothered by them, he was used to those stares. When he was just about to enter his office, Shiva slowly, head hung low, came up and said, "There is a lady waiting for you in the office." And with this he left. It wasn't as if he didn't stopped that lady...okay okay... tried to stop that lady.....ahhh okay! Thought about trying to stop that lady. But he was not so shameless to admit that he was too terrified by her aura that he just let her have her way with everything.

Ralph raised his brows, he seemed to be lost for a moment after he guessed who could possibly be inside. But since this person hasn't showed up lately, today won't be an exception, will it?

He was fidgeting inside when he opened the door. Just when he saw the lady sitting in his chair, he murmured, "Ahh! Not you!"

The lady who was wearing a red blouse with frills on neck, topped up with a black business coat and pencil skirt, lifted the corner of her lips as if satisfied by the reaction she saw on his face.

"Why not me? Were you expecting someone?"

Ralph could not help but shake his head. "I wasn't expecting someone. Its just that I am surprised. Why are you here again, do you think what you did last time wasn't enough to trouble me, that you are back? When you meddled with that autopsy report, everyone till the government was shaken to core. They were not expecting the cause of death to be common cold. Eva, let me tell you, I don't have any intention to entertain you. I won't help you this time sorry, the door is there. "

Eva showed her pearly white teeth, not smiling. Just those distant eyes mocking Ralph with disdain. As if saying 'I thought you would love to play around, but you're a coward as well'.

" I haven't even stated the reason why I am here, and you are chasing me just like that? It's okay if you are not willing to work for me. Not that I can change your will."

Ralph was in disbelief. As far as he understood her, she wasn't the kind who would take no as an answer. But then he thought that maybe because they worked together in past she would respect his decision.

He was wrong.

She spoke again." I can't change your will, but I can make you submit yourself to me, if needed, even forcefully. Tell me Ralph, or should I say, Adria Xenon, you are the only person in this world that knows who and what I am, still you think that you'll say you are not willing and I'll be shooed away just like that?"

"Hmm," she sung with disinterest, "You seem to be rather eager to meet her, what if I kidnap her and will never allow you to see her ever again? "

Shit she knows about her too!

He cursed under his breathe, but there was more to come.

" Or should I take away her precious gift away from her? Gramps, he is in SS hospital now, right?"

"Screw you, why are you here and how am I going to help you this time?" Ralph asked her.

"I killed him. You know who. His legal business will be taken care by his PA. But I will leave his underworld business to you. His PA might get crazy with all that sudden control on everything." Eva stated, hands crossed in front of her plump chest.

"Okay, but this will be under me, not dad. "

"I know new blood, you might even need to oppose your dad in future. That's why I am presenting you this opportunity. Having a little power in hands won't harm a genius like you."

Had it been an ordinary day, she would have been shocked because Eva, ruler of this planet praised her. But today she was just staring in zero, because all she could think about was how will her father react when he'll find out about the relationship between Adria and Ditto. Adria wasn't naive, she knew herself better and knew right away that she was different. She knew she was lesbian. And so did Ditto. The pair haven't yet been intimate, but she knew that she wanted to live with her no matter what. And she cannot do that without her dad's knowing. She was yet to figure out how will they react.

"Keep dreaming Adria, I'll take my leave."

Ralph just nodded, he was still lost.
