9 Where it first began

The next day Yonna was preparing the baby clothes and her speech to Taejoon. She smiled so big thinking about everything made her giggle with butterflies in her stomach.

"See I told you my loves, all you needed to do was be patient. So now we can finally be a family just in a few more weeks we'll finally be complete." She hugged her stomach so tenderly.

Ring, ring, ring

"Hello, TAEJOON!!"

"Yonna lets just meet, I don't care what your doing right now drop everything and come see me." Taejoon was very exhausted hearing his once apples voice triggered a hatred in his heart.

'How can a dirty person like you still act happy knowing what you've done.'

"Oh mmmh but what's wrong? How come you don't sound great? Did you really over work yourself I told not to do that or else you won't be healthy."

"Stop worrying about me and come out, I'll meet you at our first date."

"Yah Taejoon what's really wro..." before Yonna could finish Taejoon hung up.

"What's wrong with him? He must be exhausted from all that studying."

But Yonna just couldn't feel settled she felt something didn't feel completely right.

On their first date they met at a park a lined with oak trees it was very beautiful especially in the fall as the air was fresh and crisp, the ground filled with many sorts of color leaves as you'd walk on to it, it would sound and feel clean.

When Yonna arrived she couldn't help but reminisce on their first date. She was so scared of men back then but Taejoon made her feel comfortable, only he made her feel the way she did now.

As she walked through memory lane she spotted Taejoon sitting on the exact bench they sat on those years ago.

Taejoon saw her as she smiled and waved with a huge smile not knowing what was coming to her.

"Taejoon did you wait long."

"Sit" was the only reply from Taejoon as his voice sounded calm but somewhat distressed.

"Why are you acting so cold to me, is it because I gained some pounds over these past months." Yonna pouted waiting to get affection from Taejoon.

Taejoon was going to confront yonna quickly and get it over with, looking directly at her face made him hate her even more but looking in her eyes deep down he still loved her. When he saw her in person smiling at him like "nothing" had ever happened it made him remember the time she harbored deep feelings for him. Instead of confronting her in the most terrible way, he decided he'd take the fall. Not for the person he thought was the current Yonna, but for the Yonna in his past the one he cherished and loved so dearly. It was his last gift to her, the only girl that made him express his love towards her.

"Yonna lets go our own ways." Taejoon gave Yonna a empty look it was like nothing really meant to him anymore.

"Wh... what did you say" Her smile that once was there quickly faded into confusion.

"I know you heard me clearly lets just separate, I don't think we can do long distance."

"But why I thought we were doing great." Yonna felt a stab to her heart she frantically tugged at Taejoon's sleeves.

"You were the only one who thought it was going great, sorry Yonna but over time I lost feelings for you there isn't really much feeling I have left for you. I don't really want to drag this on so I'll just leave first I know you'll need some time alone anyway."

Taejoon passed Yonna as her small delicate fingers were forced to let go of Taejoon's sleeves; at the same time she was still trying to process the whole thing.

'Wait is this really how it's going to end, but I don't want it to end like this. How about our children, how about me please don't leave I don't want to be alone."

Yonna turned around facing Taejoon's back, tears flowing down as her heart squeezed and beated.

" BUT IM...IM!!!"

"Your what." Taejoon waited a bit for Yonna to answer, looking coldly at her.

He waited for a good few minutes before losing patience with Yonna.

"if you have noting to continue on then I'm leaving, live a good life full of virtue Kong Yonna."

Taejoon was finally very far leaving Yonna behind clenching her hands as her head was down making her bobbed her cover her crying face.

"....but I'm pregnant with your kids...." Yonna said in a whispered voice covering her face with her hands wishing it was only a dream.

Taejoon was in his car he punched the steering wheel making it beep.

'I finally did it so live your life carefully Kong Yonna. Lets never cross paths with each other ever again.'
