Meet Her?

Chapter 2

I know any sports. Badminton I learned it when Quin and I are in grade 4, Swimming I discovered it when I was in grade 4 I joined swimming lessons together with my classmate since nursery and preparatory, and last Volleyball I learned it when I was in 1st-year high school.

Mama enrolled me in the expensive school, and it was the same school where my uncle's study. My uncle Josh married an Australian citizen back when I was in grade 6. I was happy and feel okay because we have enough money to buy anything we need because my Uncle Josh and Uncle John are both working. Uncle John is a working student. He will go to work in the morning, and he will go to study at 3 PM. My father mentions me back when I was in grade 4. He talked and then after visiting me, he then went to Manila after staying here for many months. He will go to Manila to get a job to work for us. And then after many months he did not visit again or contact us again. But after many years he went home here and attended my graduation in Grade 6.

I did not tell you about Cole and Abdul. Abdul was move-in Grade 6. He will go to study in Canada because his father died when he was in Grade 5. I also cried for his sad face and his sad story. And it will lessen the artist in the classroom. I, Cole, and Abdul. They know us as an artist in the school. What happened to Cole? He has a lot of boyfriends (not literal boyfriends). Dale is his best friend they always come together wherever they want to go. Dale is an artist too, and he also my seatmate. I'm known as an actress in the classroom. I know how to be an actress because I'm always watching some TV dramas. Back to Dale. The three of us are close to each other. We always go home together but in a different jeepney. But our friendship had vanished because there's a girl (she is also my classmate) pop in front of us, and she was to enjoy getting them from me. She always says I'm a terrible person (even though I'm not but never mind as if I care), I'm stagy (I don't care I'm embarrassed by her attitude), I always start a quarrel at her (LOL Is she describes to herself?). I have no choice, so I don't mind them and go to Charm. I won't die if they were not by my side.

So back to the topic. It's time for the new school, friends everything!

Grade 7- First-year high school and my section are San Sebastian.

The first day of school and yeah, Cole and I went to the same school. Ky la is our classmate in Grade 6, but she didn't know that she's my classmate before. It was in grade 1. So Ky la, Cole and I are in the same school. It's difficult for us to approach students because we were shy, but Mama was the one who approaches students. And that one student she approaches is Angel and Ian. Ian doesn't say Hi to us only Angel. She had long hair, a broad forehead, and a beautiful smile. We were looking for our section since it was San Lorenzo at first, but they said the number of our chapter is only two, so they took out San Lorenzo and changed it to San Sebastian. We went to the assign section at the quadrangle; we attend the flag ceremony, and we were shy at first and worried at first because we don't know the loyalty song and the other from the flag ceremony.

After the ceremony, we went to our classroom. I, Ky la, and Angel are sitting next to each other and we only separate Cole because the seats at the end are full. He is sitting in front of us, and he has a seatmate name Ana jean. Her height is short, but she's cute. We have an adviser, and she is a new teacher in this school too. She is a kind, charming, and loving teacher.

I noticed that Ana is silently sitting on the other side. She was like out of place in front of us.

"Cole approaches her," I said.

"What? No!" he said.

"Why? She's out of place!" I reasoned.

"No way! You should do that because you planned it," he said.

"Then we should do it together come on!" I reasoned again.

"FINE!" he agreed.

"Hi?" Cole approaches.

"Hello" Ana replied.

"Hello, What's your name?" I ask.

"I'm Ana jean. Fourteen years old," She replied.

"Oh! Nice to meet you! I'm Summer. She is Angel, and This is Ky la." I introduced.

"Nice to meet you all!"

She is a cute girl. Later on, it was introducing yourself time.

It was my turn to introduce, so I stand up. I'm nervous and shy with everyone. But I have no choice but to stand confidently.

"HI EVERYONE GOOD MORNING! MY NAME IS SUMMER DELA CRUZ. 13 YEARS OLD. MY HOBBIES ARE WATCHING ANIME AND KDRAMA, DRAWING, AND READING BOOKS. MY PREVIOUS SCHOOL NAME IS ****" I introduced.

Many of them are looking at me. And someone caught my attention. A man I've known since Grade 3 to 5. His name is Achilles. I remember him, but he doesn't know me. He looks at me confused, so I look away and go back from sitting.

Someone announced on the speaker above (announcement speaker in our classroom). We should go out to attend the tour and introducing of clubs. We fall in line, and I saw outside a girl standing and looking at her phone. She's wearing earphones, and it seems like she's reading while listening to music.

I came beside her and saw what she's doing. She's reading the Korean language while listening to music. It amazed me, so I ask her without hesitation. She put off her earphones and look at me.

"You can read Korean (Hangul)?" I asked.

"Ah, you mean Hangul?" She asked.

"Yeah, " I answered.

"I'm not good at reading Hangul," She said.

"Oh, can I see it?" I ask.

"Sure" She agreed.

I noticed that it was a lyric of BTS fire. I listen to music and go through the words even though its Hangul and not Romanization. I did not notice that we were walking and her phone is still in my hand, so I returned it to her and apologized. It embarrassed me about what I did.

We came to the Auditorium and Me and (Her name? Well, I did not ask her) were sitting next to each other.

"Sorry, but What's your name?" I asked.

"I'm Brianna" She answered.

"I'm Summer you can call me Sam. Nice to meet you!" I said.

"Same here," she said.

"Are you a fan of BTS too?" I asked.

"Yeah, " she answered.

"How did you know them?" I asked again.

"Saw a group dancing on YouTube and the music they used is the Shape of You, so I searched the real music and saw it was a Blood, Sweat, and Tear's dance choreography and the group named BTS," she explained.

"Oh, Nice!" I said.

''How about you?" She asked.

"I've known them because of their music titled Danger and N.O." I answered.

"O-"

Our conversation didn't continue because of the emcee.

"Good morning everyone!" She prelude.

"Today is the introduction of Clubs."

Sayaweh Club- For dancing

Art Club- For arts

Philandia Club- For Filipino

Cecilia Club- For Singing/Choirs

MSET Club- For Math

Sports Club- For sports

Red Cross- For medical students

Boys/Girls Scout Club.

"What club did you chose?" Brianna asks.

"I don't know," I answered.

"Let's go to Sawayeh," she said.

She cuddled me and giggled. Well, she had that kind of attitude. Cheerful, Kind and sometimes Calm/Cold.

But what did she say Sawayeh instead of Sayaweh? LOL, I chuckled secretly.

"Okay, let's go to Sayaweh," I said.

I cringe at what I said. It's terrible for me to correct someone's mistake, but I need to say this to her, but I'm shy since it was our first time meeting each other.

"You may now go back to your perspective classrooms"

We went back to our classroom and waited for the lunchtime. We chose the Sayaweh club, but there's an Audition before you entered.

"When are we going to practice?" I asked.

"Sawayeh? Hmm. Maybe tomorrow? Let's ask, others if whom will go to help or join us in our Audition."

"I'm sorry to say this, but It's Sayaweh, not Sawayeh."

Finally, I said it. Brianna looks at me, and I was nervous because of her glance. But I was wrong. After I corrected her, she laughs and slaps my biceps (biceps seriously?!).

"Sorry! HAHA!"

"N0, It's okay."

Later on Me, Kyla, Angel, and Brianna went to the canteen for our lunch. Cole didn't join us because he said: "someone will mistake me a gay because I joined to all girls' group." Yup, That's what he said, and I let him be, and it surprised me at first because Cole is joining Ian and others. Welp, it looks cringe because he is coming along to famous (to be honest, he doesn't know that they're brilliant guys).

And after lunchtime, it's time for the tour of all new students. They guide us where's the library, canteen, AVC (Audio-Visual Center), Little Theatre, Sports Room, Computer Lab, All the Science Lab, College Department, Senior High Department, etc.

After the tour, It's dismissal time and again Cole and I went home together since his father had to ride the van and will fetch us.

Did I tell you that Cole has a sister? His sisters were my close friends too. They are an artist also and yeah I look like adopted siblings to them.
