Ryu Family

Kenji Ryu was the head of the family which he had created for himself ten years ago and he was the possessor of the Blood Dragon eyes.

He was a middle aged man with pale skin, blonde hair, a light beard and a strongly built body.

There were moments when his eyes changed when he made use of his ability and they turned a red colour with black pupils that were shaped like a minus sign.

He was dressed in a red and black patterned kimono with a black sash around his waist.

Kenji looked towards the other part of the room within his castle and his cold eyes landed on the figures sparring with each other. "…"

In the middle of the room was a woman with white eyes and no visible pupils which showed she was a possessor of the Byakugan eyes of the Hyuga Clan.

She was thin and tall with very pale skin and black hair that was tied near the bottom, there were vein marks near her eyes which had showed that she had activated her ability.

The former Hyuga Clan and Hidden Leaf Village member had lived under the new identity given to her as she had given birth to each of her children and had continued to raise them under the hypnosis of Kenji.

She was Emi Ryu and she was in the middle of teaching each of the children the basics of the Gentle Fist.

She did not hold back in the slightest against her young children as she continued to hit their Chakra Points one after another before they had a chance to fend off several of her strikes.

Each of the children were kept busy in training in all kinds of things ranging from Gentle Fist, Taijutsu, Ninjitsu, throwing techniques and even the sword.

Many fast paces attacks came towards Momo who could not break past her mother's defences and she suffered several hits to some of her Chakra Points.

The strange thing was that it did not look like she was feeling phased by it or was showing any caution towards being hit again.

Under the hypnosis of her father, Momo kept training and pushing herself more than her siblings.

In some ways it was great since it would help her grow quickly once her hard work paid off but there were many times where too much work was harmful to her.

Emi may have acted as a loving mother to her children as she had been hypnotised to do so but she had completely changed to a ruthless instructor once she was teaching her children.

Many small bruises were on the body of Momo but she kept throwing her body forward with every bit of power she had. "Haah.."

There were many light tapping and slapping noises that followed as both mother and daughter within range of each other.

Their hands and fingers met each other several times but Momo had somehow managed to land a single precise blow to the wrist of her mother.

Momo continued to attack but was quickly overcome by her mother's assault until Momo had finally fallen back towards the ground.

There was no show of concern in the eyes of Emi who stood over her coldly before turning towards the next opponent that was Ichigo.

Momo had already done well to be able to land a hit but her lack of improved vision had put her at a disadvantage when it came to the use of Gentle Fist.

The Gentle Fist may not have been the same techniques that were taught to the main clan since it was not available to Emi but it was still in a state that it could be taught to others.

Once Ichigo and Haruma stepped up to spar against their mother, they received the same treatment as Momo which made them full of bruises once they had lost the fight.

Kenji who was watching from further away had looked towards them with approval in his eyes. 'It really was a good idea to include this in their teaching.'

He did not care too much for the Gentle Fist since it did not suit his way of doing things but he did see that it was something that his children could learn since they were learning everything from scratch.

Ichigo and Haruma were most suited to the Gentle Fist due to them inheriting certain traits of the Byakugan so they had shown the best results each time so even with the efforts that Momo had put in, she still struggled to stand out enough to be able to earn a little acknowledgment.

In the eyes of her father, Momo was a failure who could not shine in any subject no matter how hard she worked but that was hardly her own fault considering that she had to compete with very talented siblings that quickly started to surpass her in different fields.

Momo may have had good meals and received a lot of treatments that others would not be able to experience but she was still lacking in love and control of her own life due to her father's hypnosis and cold treatment.

The years that had passed and each new breakthrough that her siblings experienced had only helped to let her position in the family drop down.

Even if she was still considered competent in many fields or as a jack of all trades, Momo was still not acknowledged.

Her father had long lost any hope in her but the other children were still given enough attention for them to feel his love and expectations for them.

Ichigo and Haruma had shone when it came to Gentle Fist or the use of other methods like the use of needles so that they could disrupt the Chakra or blood flow in a persons body.

Chieko had her offensive eye techniques to rely on but she had shown that she was very skilled in Ninjitsu too and picked it up very quickly so Momo could not even be the best in that area.

Tokito had shown through practice that he was talented in the use of weapons like the sword or throwing weapons so even at a young age, he had already started to catch up to Momo.

Once Kenji had returned to his room, he leaned back in his chair and rested his chin on his hand. 'They are progressing quite well. It is just that one that is still no good. I think I have given her enough time but there are still no signs of possessing any kind of talent.'

His purple eyes changed to red once he had become more emotional and annoyed before coldly declaring. "No more chances. It is now or never. If she dies.. then she just dies."

There was no trace of hesitation in his voice or emotion that had been directed towards Momo besides indifference and annoyance, it was like he was completely giving up on her and was ready to discard her for good if she failed him once more.
