The starting of the end (Part 3) - Finale

I clutched the moonstone and walked down the halls of my school and all of the students who walked those halls avoided me and gathered on one side. They usually don't notice me until I join them. I rushed to my locker as whispers arose.

"I heard that her mother went crazy after using black magic!"

"Isn't she the valedictorian or something? Well, whatever, she's weird."

"She's so pretty though!" I heard a boy's voice say and I halted to a stop.

It is pretty often that I get compliments, but sometimes, it feels nice to get validation. After all, my junior year was ending soon and sometimes, it's nice to get compliments from people other than my teachers.

Once I got outside it was easy to spot my ride; the really gaudy, black, limo. What's so gaudy about a limo? The fact that there are literally two guards that stand right outside of it with a red carpet rolled right outside of it. "Eliiii!"

"Emmy, I told you NOT to scream my name out like that!"

"I knowww, I'm sorry, but I just can't help it" she pleaded with me.

I couldn't chastise her any more. I don't even have many friends that I could spare scolding her even more. Oh well, that was my life fore now, I liked it this way, I rubbed the moonstone ties neatly in the middle of the bow of my schools uniform and a screen popped up on front of me, it was going to be a busy night of murder as names popped up on the screen I scrolled through it, no one that I recognized. Good, I would like to keep it that way.
