The way your level in body forging was measured was through how many meridians you had opend up. Each person had nine meridians in their body, one at the end of each limb, and five going from the groin, to the belly button to the sternum, to the heart, to the head. However, a person could only open so many, this might be due to a meridian being crippled, permanently sealed, or just very hard to open.

Opening meridians helped in qi absorbtions speed, foundational stability, talent awakening, qi storage levels, and qi adaptation speed.

Sitting down, Alex began to very slowly, draw in a diluted piece of qi, this time nothing special happend, the diluted piece lf qi went into his body and began to very slowly flow around, eventually reaching a 'blockage' and bumping into it, before dispersing. This was strange, as the 'blockage' it had bumped into was a closed meridian, but it was on his shoulder. There wasent meant to be a meridian their. Checking his body Alex found dozens of extra meridians in places they shouldn't be, im his heart, in both lungs, randomly through his arms and legs. Counting them all up, their where 108 meridians in total. 'System, any ideas?'

[Because of the combination of hosts skill [forge of 108 devind meridians] forming 108 psudo meridians, the trait [transcendent phisque] reducing the limits of hosts form, the trait [inate being] even further reducing the limits of hosts form, and the trait [fetus] making hosts body incredably malleable. Along side the sudden massive amount of qi due to hosts [transcendent phisque] and [inate being] traits awakening, caused the 108 psudo meridians to coalesce into true meridians using hosts original 9 as a basis.

Due to these changes the skill [forge of 108 devine meridians] will now increase the quality of hosts meridians. Host is encouraged to open all 108 meridians before further forging. As having 108 meridians is a unique event to host, let alone combined with existing traits, statuses and skills, the system is unable to know what may happen in the future.]

"So, I've got 11 times more meridians then a normal person, can make them better, and yoy have no clue what could happen in the future? And what's this about [transcendent phisque] and [innate being] 'awakening'?"

[The traits [transcendent phisque] and [innate being] have been in a semi-dormant state since forming as that had no energy to be powerd by. As such, when host first introduced qi into their body, both these traits 'woke up' and began to feed. As such hist has gained full access to their capabilities. [transcendent phisque] simply has much higher power boosts, and [innate being] alowes host to use differing power systems without clash, such as using budist methods along side demonic techniques.]

"Neat. Well, might as well get started opening all my meridians."

Focusing again, Alex began to draw in another diluted wisp of qi, this time drawing it into the biggest open space in his body. After waiting for his body to get used to the single wisp of energy he drew in another one, and repeated this prosess untill he had 5, which was the most the space could hold without end of the qi hitting one of the meridians.

'Grabbing hold' of the five whisps, he began to spin them around to build momentum. before throwing them at the first meridian. surprisingly, they passed right through it, opening it like it was nothing, continuing to pass through five more meridians before running out.

With 6 meridians open now, his body had much more capacity as he could hold qi in the meridians themselves, which had the strange trait of being able to hold more Qi inside then their size would suggest. They where also strongly semi ethereal, existing both in reality and not. This alowed them to 'grow' near limitlesly while still fitting neatly inside the body.

They would also speed up his body's speed lf drawing in qi and adapting to it. Pulling in another whisp of diluted qi he stored it in one of his meridians, this took just a couple seconds as compared to the minute or so from, before.

Each meridian could hold about 10 qi whisps, for a total of 60, spinning them around again to build momentum, he threw them at the remaining meridians, opening up another 60 meridians, for 66 total. He repeated this once more to open all 108 meridians.

"So, that's it? I mean, I could draw in a whisp of pure qi right now and be done but, it almost seems disappointing? You know what, how about I upgrade my meridians."

Useing the modified version of forge of 108 devine meridians Alex drew in as much diluted qi as he could, each diluted qi whisp being just barly below the level of true qi.

The total he could hold was a staggering 180,000 as each meridian could hold a total of 1,000 qi once fully opend. He then began to rapidly rotate this qi around each meridian, before pushing on the walls of the meridians.

This caused the meridians to slowly expand, with any thinner areas or cracks immediately healed by the qi inside, he managed to double the room of each meridian before running out of qi.

The whole process of drawing in qi, rotating it, and expanding the meridians took about an hour. He repeated this once more, doubling the size of the meridians again, before getting up to have dinner.

After an uneventful dinner he returned to his room to continue expanding his meridians, after doubling them twice more, each meridians had a total capacity of 16,000 whisps, for a grand total capacity of 2,880,000,000. Or two trillion, eight hundred and eighty million whisps of 99% pure qi whisps. At this point he could feel his meridians where as big as they where going to get for now, at this point they where the size of a basket ball each.

"Alright, now what? Conect each of them? Sure, why not."

So Alex got to work creating a new technique that would connect each meridian to all 107 others, which woukd create a beautiful mandala image afterwards. "So, I take the qi, use it to built some threads connecting to all the other meridians, use those threads as a foundation to build bridges to every meridian, then expand those bridges? Seems about right, it would give me fatser movement of qi, more capacity, and more versatile qi movement."

"Cool, now to build the bridges."

Useing his stored qi Alex created 107 threads from all 108 meridians for a total of 11,555 threads of qi, he then connected every meridian to each other. Before sending more Qi down the threads to make them bigger. By the end the 11,556 bridges where as wide as three fingers and connected every single meridian.

"Now what? More upgrades! That's what! What if i separated every meridian into their own 'body' then repeated this entire prosess for each? Sure, why not.

All this dod was spit each meridian into their own 'body' with 108 meridians of their own. And over the course of a week Alex repeated the prosess of 'opening' each inner meridian, expanding the inner meridians, and building the bridge for each. By the end his capacity had increased to 5,000,000,000 qi whisps.

'Well now what? It's not like I can make each inner meridian have a inner meridian, I'm already at the limit of qi poisoning as is, even with all my enhancements. Fuse the meridians? Nah, that would just up the qi purity, and I'm already at 99.99999% purity anyway. I could lay a formation on each meridian, by I don't have 11,664 formations lying around, I could do it, if I realy tired, by they would end up supper niche and selective. Like a formation made to enhance my left pink's strangth on every second Tuesday at 1:37 pm.

"I could prepare for qi absorbing? But how? It's entire prosess is just absorbing qi to make strands, then purifying those strands for more powerfull qi to make stronger strands. Both of those things I can't do at this point. And I cont progress in body forging as by blood it still being upgraded by my marrow. I guess it's time for me to get a hobby? I have 6 months untill I go to the purple dawn sect, I guess I could take up painting?"
