Chapter 34: Blazer

~Albus POV~

After finding a good place to park my truck for the night and entering a hotel for the night to think more of the new ability I got.

I began to recall anything I could about Blazer is that it came from Chivalry of a Failed Knight anime and manga with my Mana going into overdrive with me unlocking my Aura and Mana together.

Blazer is a special breed of humans born with magic.

In the past, they were first referred to as magicians and witches, Blazers are irregular people found in one-in-a-thousand born with magic, they are able to materialize their soul as a weapon referred to as Devices.

The strongest of them could control time such as Kurono Shinguuji using their abilities, which science is unable to explain, even the weakest among them were considered superhuman.

Though the magic of a Blazer is stated to be fixed at birth and it couldn't be increased no matter their training.

It is later stated to be the limit that the world would allow and reaching the full extent of their potential would mean that they couldn't get improve anymore, however, if they were to break those chains would result in them stepping into the domain of a demon.

Devices are weapons that a Blazer is able to manifest from their soul. At times Devices were referred to as Holy Swords, Demon Bows, Cursed Tools, and Blessed Tools.

Devices are the materialization of a Blazer's soul as a weapon, which can be used in battle. A Device takes on an assortment of different forms and abilities based on the Blazers themselves as shown with Kuraudo's Orochimaru which can extend and move at will.

These devices can take the form of simple normal weapons ranging from swords to more modern weapons such as firearms.

A Device also serves as a medium for Blazers to utilize their Noble Arts, which is their Trump Card in battles.

As the manifestation of their souls, Devices are able to withstand great damage without being broken, however, it doesn't mean they're indestructible if their Device does break it leads the Blazer to lose consciousness.

There are rare occurrences where a Device can change and/or even evolve due to reflecting the inner spirit of the Blazers who had manifested them.

Therefore, if a Blazer were to rebuild themselves this caused a drastic shift in their original beliefs and ideals, which results in their Device taking a new form based on their change.

"Asura."

*Woosh*

Summoning up again I try to feel the aura I got unlocked from Ghira but… "Nope. Guess by summoning my Device Asura I get in return no protection."

Yeah figured that much.

But…

What about Aura Noble Art?

Noble Arts are the trump cards of all Blazers.

Noble Art is the manifestation of their individual abilities and as such is powered by their magical powers as such, there is no one noble art that is similar to one another even if their abilities are alike as it matches their own user's personal tastes.

It has been proven that a Blazer has more than more Noble Art due to either their magic capacity and/or magic control.

The abilities of Blazers exist in several systems, in which four different categories have been revealed:

Body Enhancement: The simplest power to increase physical abilities; for example, Ikki Kurogane, who can double his physical powers, however, this power, in particular, is considered useless since all normal Blazers can increase their physical abilities several times over using mana alone.

Nature Interference: The power to create and control specific elements that can be found in nature such as Fire, Water, Wind, and Lightning. Nature Interference Blazers are able to also control the attributes and/or elements related to their elements; water users such as Shizuku are able to use ice and vapor, which are solid and gaseous forms of water.

These Blazers can absorb natural elements around them, then convert it into more power known as pseudo mana, letting them use more mana to empower their Noble Art.

Conceptual Manipulation: The power to manipulate certain concepts; for example, Ayase who is able to manipulate the concept of "Wounds", letting her make wounds more severe.

Others such as Stella who is able to manipulate the concept of "Dragon" are able to use different abilities like potent fire manipulation (Nature Interference) and enhanced physical attributes (Body Enhancement).

Causation Manipulation: The power to manipulate causation itself, is considered the strongest and rarest among Blazer abilities. Causation Blazers are able to control and overwrite events and fate itself.

Looking at my Asura in my hand I began to use my Ultimate Eye to see what its Noble Art was as I got to figure out it's a Body Enhancement Type and Conceptual Manipulation of the concept of 'Multiplication'.

The body enhancement is from my Semblance a power multiplier of 10 but combined it with Asura normal Noble Arts… I can materialize multiple versions of the blade so long as I use my Mana and Aura to fuel it.

"Asura Kannon."

*Woosh*

Like that I 'multiply' the blade by 10 and then all 10 of them materialized as I smirked at my Noble Art.

Asura-Kannon is what my Noble Arts is called.

A special technique using Asura that materializes dozens of floating swords roughly in the shape of a fan above the human generating them. Able to levitate around who has summoned them, the blades can be individually or all at once directed to fire into enemies if I choose to.

Waving my hands around the blades followed like telekinesis using the blades, "Now this is pretty cool to have.

With this weapon, I really got a pretty powerful shame I lack actual fighting experience for me to utilize properly.

Desummoning Asura for the time being I jumped down on my bed as I relaxed a bit as thought of my next step, "Alright. Now that I made it this far in I should really deal with those crooks in Vale soon enough. Don't want those Spiders screwing me over."

Yeah, I need to deal with that annoying Spiders in Vale just to spite them.

Turning around my bed I began to sleep for the night in my dreams I talk to my Spirits.

"Ahh~"

Moaning as I woke in the early morning, I began to test out some of the limits of my new Semblance Tenfold to see where the limitations are on as I see my Aura is the active color green as I can see it.

Hmm…

How about something simple.

Let's see…

"3 Fold: Strength and Speed."

Going over to a nearby table I began to walk towards it but I only walked at a normal pace.

Raising an eyebrow at that I began to crunch the table as I felt massive pain in my hand as I felt like my own bones were getting crushed.

*Crack*

Glancing over to my hand I see it turn purple soon after as I saw my Aura healing it as I came to some conclusions.

Apparently, I can only increase my power on one trait and not two at once.

Maybe in the future that could change but currently I can increase one trait of my choice strength, speed, weight, regeneration, etc.

Hence the reason why I couldn't walk 3 times the speed as I was walking fast this could be really good power but not without some issues.

Oh…

That could be bad like reality working bad.

Say for example if I was using my Semblance at full speed I could go splat on any surface running full speed into something then BAM dead waste of flesh.

Guess I'll deal with only the low numbers for the time being.

Hmm…

"Tenfold: Aura Regen."

*Shiii*

Following my command, I can feel my aura burn quickly but at the same time, I can feel my skin pigment return to normal and viewing my bones returned to normal.

*Crack*

"Huff…"

"Huff…"

That was when I heard my aura crack meaning it must have used up all my energy I drop a knee feeling the exhaustion as I began to lay down on the bed feeling tired, "So… using my Tenfold burns up too quickly to a point where only a few seconds would do. Guess I should use it sparingly."

Yeah despite the power-up it drains way too fast to be practically useful.

*Knock*

Recovering myself I began to answer the door, of course, I look through the peek hole to see Ilia as I open the door as I answered, "Hello and good morning Ilia how are you today?"

She began to reply to me as I walk outside the hotel room as talked to me in a friendly manner, "Not much I have some free time. Was wondering if you were interested in letting me show you around, Argus. Since you're new to Argus."

Nodding at that I began to follow her lead then I see a young Blake Belladonna appear as I saw her as she answered her reasoning being here, "I'm only here to be with Ilia Human – err… I mean Albus right? That's what my dad says around you."

Smiling at that I agreed as I pulled out my Lien as offered the two a free breakfast, "Alright then. How about after you two show me around Argus I treat you to some free breakfast."

They smiled happily at that as Blake was drooling at the thought.

Such a shame she was such a sour puss in the series but meh.

Who knows?

I could be the one to pull her stick out of her ass.

Like that we all went away to get some breakfast before traveling around Argus.
