Isekaied in RWBY

Disclaimer All copyrighted content is the property of its respective owner(s). You know the cliche some guy gets isekaied and have to be the hero of their own stories right? Well, this guy gets sent to RWBY with nothing but his knowledge of the plot and his understanding of how to survive using what he knows to survive. Knowing the plot and lack of faith in the MC of the show, he decided to put himself in harm's way to hopefully achieve his goals of peace. If they are the main characters or antagonists he will fight whoever threatens him as he learned firsthand how cruel this world is. ---- This is the rewrite of Gamer in RWBY.

Chapter 21: Mistral Path

Chapter 21: Mistral Path

~Albus POV~

Finally leaving the cave alone I began to make my way towards Mistral Path to Mistral City once more when I reconstructed a side weapon small enough to carry.

A knife and katana at the ready.

That was all I got from it but also deconstructed it into iron bars for a blacksmith to use.

Heavy to carry but at least profitable to blacksmith or metal workers for them to use.

Heck, I made an iron ring now being constantly infused with my Cursed Energy as I will give it some time for it to become a cursed tool in the future.

Heh.

Like that, I began to make my path toward Mistral City soon enough.

Although I do have to wonder how long till the shadow factions will notice my presence soon enough.

Meh.

I'll worry about that later for now I should get going soon.

/////

Walking my way out of the forest I began to follow the path of Mistral as I began to further go ahead hoping to find my way out of this death trap.

Sigh…

Still pissed I wasted my stone to have full affinities of my magic and tested it out to see if it worked.

And it worked alright.

Now the main issue was I can only cast their level base spells without using El, Ul, and Al without me passing out since my body is still not used to that level but I have been getting more used to them.

But versatility is important so I wanted to focus on some energies for me to use for now without much knowledge of Alchemy I'm stuck at the basics but Re: Zero magic system is simpler for me to understand.

As long as I know the incantations the easier it was for me to understand.

Next came Cursed Energy something which I don't have much hope of mastering other than using Cursed Restoration I can't have much but heal myself over and over again till I ran out of Cursed Energy.

Mana can be easily restored and trained more if given time.

For now, I need to train my foundation first by strengthening my body first and I needed to use another form of energy for versatility soon.

Hmm…

Oh!

I know what about Nen?

What do I need to do to unlock my Nen?

And I can do so through the use of meditation the correct way to unlock it than someone with Nen to open it forcibly.

Meditation is actually the correct way to do it however it takes time.

The way Gon and Killua did by having Wing forcefully opposing their Nen's pathways is quite dangerous since Nen is basically a life force and all of it can seep away if unlocked forcibly if not contained right away.

Zushi is a good example as any for a talented person to train in Nen under an instructor.

Zushi became Wing's student at least six months before registering at Heaven's Arena. He learned to open his aura nodes in three months through meditation, and mastered Ten in six.

You can get it pretty easy in the HxH world and it would work here for my case at least as long as you know of its existence and how to train for it.

A student learning Nen trains to manually open and close their aura nodes so that they can control the flow of their aura. One typically learns this process slowly and gradually through meditation.

And since there are no secondary people to help me out with the second option I had to solely rely on what I had.

While all living things possess aura and all humans, as well as possibly beings of other species, can master Nen, some excel at its usage more than others.

What exactly factors into potential is, for the most part, a mystery, but it appears to be predominantly a congenital factor, since statistical estimations about its rarity can be made and evidence points against it changing over the course of one's life.

The rubric of 'potential' or 'talent' entails both the maximum degree of mastery that one could achieve and the speed of one's learning, which seem to be directly proportional: the faster one learns, the higher their upper ceiling is assumed to be.

It is important to note that learning rate can have multiple meanings: Gon took more time than Killua to control the flow of his aura, but he was able to discover multiple Nen techniques on his own, and his potential was never implied to be lower than Killua's.

The circumstances of one's growth can also combine with one's talent to facilitate learning, further highlighting that the rate of progression should not be taken as a perfectly transparent indicator of one's maximum potential, although in general it can be considered fairly reliable.

At least when I have the time to train or meditate once I have a comfort zone.

Shaking my head at this I began to observe everything from afar using my Ultimate Eye as I made my way around the paths and avoid the Grimm that was too close for comfort as I dodged carefully of their pathway.

The more I began to move away from the Grimm as well as avoid the troubles concerning them as I began to inspect the views ahead of me as I began to move closer –

*Rustle*

Stop.

Whatever I do I stopped in that last-minute second before my Ultimate Eye landed me a sight I didn't expect to see this early in the story but something I sorely wished to haven't met this person soon.

Raven fucking Brawen.

Why the literal fuck is she here for?

Wait…

The fuck!

My eyes widen at this as I examined everything I needed from Raven I saw her to get the general information I needed as she came here for me.

Or rather the magic-user she has been sensing for.

Fuck my life.

In other words, she is looking for me but I'm really lucky that they haven't found out that she's looking for me specifically.

Gulp.

Guess I'm going to need to slowly move out of my way…

OR…

I could retrace my steps back away from here and wait for Raven to leave the area herself while I can try again.

This is the best chance I got as Raven would kill my ass before I get the chance to retaliate even with my foresight, I wouldn't be able to win this.

Using my Ultimate Eye to move around and retrace my steps back as this is going to be a problem to get around Raven.

The real question would be how long it would take her to stay in place or leave the general area for me to escape this place.

For now, I made a tactical retreat while ensuring not to cause a scene nor make any noises as I began to retreat my way back to a safe location that should let me have the high ground of seeing her within my sights.

/////

Finally, after I felt that I was at a safe distance still viewing Raven in the middle of the roadway of the Mistral Path as I can see the Mistral Kingdom right ahead of me from a far distance.

So close…

But so far…

She is literally blocking my way…

Hmm…

Thinking for a bit I began to ponder how to go around this as the path to Mistral City is being monitored by Raven but that doesn't mean it's my only option.

I can just go around her.

Yeah, that sounds something more easily said than done but…

Narrowing my eyes at this as I spoke out loud my thoughts on the matter, "If Raven managed to sense me out. Who's to say Ozma or Salem can sense… shit."

I forgot that unlike Ozma with his group Salem can probably sense me but not far…

But not when she is queen hivemind of the Grimm to search for everything for her to use and I used it against my little pony reject…

Grimacing at this I made a BIG mistake on my part but…

Shaking my head at this no I don't regret using my magic finishing it off since I have long gotten better versatility with it now that I have gained more variety.

What I need to focus on right now is obtaining myself a stable income of a resident as well as a place to train without much worry.

Sadly though I might not get that chance.

Sigh…

I really wish I had that isekaied luck where they meet up with a girl that somehow relates to big opportunities to be trained and help out their new friends.

….

Well…

So long as I don't get isekaied in Re: Zero, Cross Ange, Attack on Titan, or Executioner Way of Life.

*Shiver*

Just the thoughts of being isekaied there are very fucked up for very justified reasons.

Glancing at the road ahead I can probably go around Raven's post as I move around the edges of the forest keeping her out of her range of sights.

Whew…

Sometimes I wonder if I was too careless Raven would've caught my ass without my Ultimate Eye would I be forced to follow her tribe or break me down to comply.

Expressing a complicated look on my face I don't know how I would react to her if she tried because everything I know could be contrasted differently of what I knew from the web series.

Sigh.

No use.

I just have to be very careful around her as I move around and don't use my Mana from here on out with Raven on watch.

Guess I'll just have to do with Cursed Energy and Alchemy for the time being at least till I reach a safe haven.

Going around the forest area where Raven is seeking me out like a hawk it will take a few days but at least I can make sure I live without following her orders and becoming a bandit as even I have standards despite me using the Philosopher Stone.

Taking a long way around Raven would have to do.
