(Spoilers) Death and Revitalization (Side Story)
There once was a young girl who had a very overprotective mother, the girl loves her mother dearly however she also longed for freedom.
The girl was very beautiful and had many men wanting her hand in marriage but her mother would decline every proposal. The girl secretly wished one of the men would steal her away from her cage.
One day while she was out picking flowers the ground shook and a great carriage pulled by beautiful ebony stallions burst forth from a sinkhole that opened up near her. A man opened the door and stepped out, she recognized him as one of the 3 great powers. She cowered on the ground her legs shaking so hard it was bumping the basket she had brought to collect flowers.
The man extended his hand and comforted the girl with his words while he helped her to her feet "I'm not here to harm you, The truth is.. I think you are very beautiful and was wondering if you would like to see my kingdom." though the girl was hesitant she nodded her head yes.
The girl spent six months in the kingdom, the man had offered to take her home several times but she always declined with a smile saying "I'm very happy here and do not wish to return yet, I would like to remain longer if you will allow". The man had no reason to refuse and he actually wanted her to remain with him.
During the time she was there she tried very hard to seduce him as she had fallen head over heels in love with him but he remained a dignified gentlemen, she could not understand why he has not laid even a finger on her considering the stories she had heard of his brothers.
This man was nothing like his brothers and all the stories she heard of him seemed as if they had been falsified or greatly exaggerated. No this man was not evil more like a prince charming clad in darkness that rescued her from a blinding light.
His kingdom was not a hellish landscape full of torture as she had heard, She could not deny that the torture fields did exist here however the majority of the kingdom was filled with happy souls who seemed to greatly respect the ruler. When she thought about the rest of the kingdom and how it was all necessary she understood and respected him even more for it.
One day she heard the man's voice echo in rage, he was talking about her. "You can't have her, she does not wish to return and I will not force her brother, besides you already agreed I could propose to her beforehand".
The girl ran down the hallway through the palace with tears in her eyes 'he wants to marry me' she thought in absolute bliss But when she thought about the Implications of everything she heard her heart shattered. 'They are gonna force me to go home, I don't want that. I want... I'm sure I want to remain beside him'. she thought to herself in frustration.
When she got the her destination She stopped for a brief second then yanked open the door to the man's throne room. She stood there stunned. Her father was standing there, lightning emanating from his body in rage at being told no. He noticed her and said "Kore tell Hades you want to go back home with Demeter and you do not wish to remain here"
The girl was stunned her willpower was shattered, she looked over to the man she loved and was about to repeat the words she was told to but then she stopped when she seen his face. She regained her composure with renewed vigor. She looked back to her father and said "Who is Kore?, My name is Persephone and this is my home" As she said it she pulled something from her pocket It was a pomegranate she peeled it slowly then put 6 seeds in her mouth. Hades and Zeus eyed her Stunned in disbelief.
They agreed to keep the events of the day secret Zeus was reluctant at first but when he heard the new story they would tell he was happy his brother would be cast as a villain who forced his daughter to eat the seed and be in the underworld for half a year.
This was a much better story as it did not reveal how his daughter had deliberately disobeyed his order to return home and gave him a way to appease her mother Demeter making Hades the center of her anger and not how he agreed to let Kore marry Hades originally.

Years Later

There is a couple who loves each other dearly. It's rare to find them not holding hands, embracing or some other form of expressive love. They are inseparable when in each other's presence. The woman who's name is Persephone had recently giving birth to a son they named Zagreus.
One day while her husband Hades was in the far reaches of the kingdom a great crack appeared on the gates of Tartarus, it burst as great and powerful Titans burst forth.
They headed for the palace prepared to lay siege however a few of them stoped when they noticed the sound of a baby cooing coming from behind the palace.
One of them fashioned a toy from some nearby deadwood, when they got to the back of the palace they seen the toddler and eyes him with a malicious grin.
Using the toy as bait they coax the boy to them. When he arrives they strike him violently almost killing him instantly, had he been a mortal he would have. His moment of reprieve was brief as they bared down on him.
In the next instant the biggest of the group picked the boy up by an arm it's massive fist covered the whole appendage, another Titan grabbed the boys leg pulling hard. The boy screamed in pain and blacked out as his little limbs pulled apart at the seam as his body fell back to the ground with a hard crash.
The Titans continued playing with their new toy pulling on it and hitting it until there was nothing left but a mass of flesh that reaembled a chest cavity, and inside you could see a small heart.

Hades slaughtered the last Titan who has escaped while listening to his wife's wails of anguish and heartbreak. His heart was heavy and he felt like a hole had been ripped in his own heart. His son was dead an there was nothing he could do, even the god of the Dead was powerless in this situation.

Zeus could hear his daughters crying from Olympus, being the king of the gods and her father gave him a close tie to her and he could feel her pain.
He put a odd expression on his face as he stood and opened a portal to the underworld, hiding his presence he walked through the portal and was greeted with the sight of Persephone sitting on the ground in the fetal position head in her knees and weeping.
He looked over at what remained of his grandsons corpse, taking great care to not be rough or make noise he placed his hand into the chest cavity and removed the heart. With it in his possession he walked back through his portal into his throne room on Olympus.
Zeus crushed the heart into a glass and mixed it with some other stuff only the gods would recognize. He put the mixture into a vial and gave it to his consort named Semele to drink.
After some time Semele gave birth to a boy even though Zeus had not touched her in recent years, they named him Dionysus. This Boy is infact the Reincarnated God Zagreus, Prince of the Underworld.
