Isekai Komodo

Under the scorching sun, blood red sands stretched out as one huge almost unlivable desert.

The skies clear, no cloud, not even wind.

On a dark tusk like rock, a small Komodo stared at the sun blankly. After a few minutes of forcing his eyes to met the piercing light, the Komodo sighed.

"I can only accept it, huh."

He spoke in Indonesian language.

That's right.

His maw movement maybe a bit weird, but he clearly able to speak like humans with that snout.

But it was not something surprising for the Komodo, at least compared to the fact that he used to be human. That's right, Komo Saputra, be was just your average teenager in his highschool days a few days ago. But due unfortunate circumstances, he ended up here in the middle of nowhere as komodo hatchling.

Lamenting that reality, he kicked off a stone behind him. It fell and rolled on the sand surfaces when out of nowhere, a monstrous jaw jumped from the sand.

"It's him again damnit! I'll starve to death at this rate!"

Komo shouted angrily.

"Why I must become a Komodo?! I don't even know a thing about this creatures except the fact that we lived in the same country! If you're gonna throw me in this damned place, you can just make me one of them Kalasir! I swear! I swear if I ever found the answer and it was only because my name is Komo, o god or whatsoever, I'll beat your ass!"

After yelling for a bit to the skies, Komo can feel his hunger intensified.

Clicking his forked tongue angrily, he kick another stone.

It's fall, rolled, Kalasir attacked.

"Still too big damnit! I will be the dinner instead!"

Feeling like crying, Komo throw another stone.

Again.

And again.

After several attempts that emptied his patience stock, he finally found a suitable prey.

Fang Yun flicked his tongue slightly, staring at the confused scorpion+crab looking creature, looking for an opportunity. Few seconds later, just as the reddish creature about to burrow into sand again, Komo muscles instantly tightened and he attack.

His mouth opened, biting the creature, not letting it go even as it struggled. Then he hurriedly climbed his rock again. Reaching the top, he glanced behind and just as expected, there was quite a commotion.

Snorting, he moved to the other side of the rock.

There was a hole enough for adult head to enter, deep enough to cover half of this tusk like rock

Komo throw the struggling thing inside before going in himself. Thanks to the rough surface of the rock as well as his claws, he didn't feel real difficulty to move on this rock.

"Now, wait."

Although he has surprisingly high poison resistance that he didn't feel anything when that little creature attack him with it's venomous tail, Komo did not confident about swallowing such creature alive.

Thus, he could only do this.

This little cave got extremely hot at day, and combined with his saliva that already coating that creature whole, it will only take a few hours before he could ate his usual dish.

Komo entered the cave, ignoring the heat, and saw the motionless creature coated in bubbling saliva.
