Lucien widened his eyes, initially thinking it was an easy request. 'Is he doing this to elevate his stature or gain recognition from others?' he pondered but set it aside. The man beside him wasn't him, right?
Yet, for some inexplicable reason, everything about Tritons annoyed him. Especially that medium silver hair—how did he manage to keep it styled perfectly all day? And those emerald green eyes, and that serene smile—it all grated on his nerves.
"Of course, Your Holiness. I will make it splendid but modest for the sake of the villagers," Lucien replied, forcing a smile.
Tritons laughed softly and tapped Lucien's shoulder. "As Gibson said, you truly are a caring and sharp leader. I hope this village will build a good relationship with the Salacia Temple, considering it a holy land."
