When Lucien arrived, Brigantiea was already in her human form and seated on the giant pouch on the floor. They were inside Lithira's workshop, but it seemed like the owner was absent.
She yawned before looking at him strangely. "Why are you sweating like that?" she asked.
Lucien tried to control his breath. He had been running after her, calling her name. At some point, he thought Brigantiea did that on purpose, pretending to be deaf.
But that wasn't the case.
He cleared his throat. "I should be the one asking you. Where have you been all this time?"
Brigantiea tilted her head, puzzled. "I went inside the forest to get this crystal mana," she said, pointing at the pouch she used as a seat.
"You should have told me if you were going somewhere. Especially if you were going for days!" Lucien reprimanded her while approaching.
