48 Teens

"AHHHHH!" The three girls screamed on top of their lungs, echoing on the island. Birds flew in every direction, startled. Bella informed Fluffy telepathically. A roar was heard, then everything's at peace again.

Devan, Dawn, Desiree, and Danika were holding their chest-puffing deeply. They looked at everybody with their eyes as if asking for an explanation. But one by one, the adults left and went to do their work.

Adelle sat beside the teens and explained everything calmly. Bella and Aunt Deborah discussed the benefits of water. A drop can close small wounds, burns, and cuts. Twenty drops of pure space water can cure fatigue, minor discomforts, and illnesses. Half glass can immediately save a person having strokes, heart attacks. Although they are not permanently cured of illnesses, there's a slow improvement in their health. A glass improves the health of those who have terminal diseases such as cancer patients. Her theory is that drinking three glasses of water in one week can cure terminal illness!

Aunt Deborah halted the experiment because if the news comes out, it will endanger Bella. She personally executed the experiment and the results are hidden. Bella felt touched with this and continued helping.

Her proposal would be mixing it with the medicine. So the improvement will be slow and will not attract attention. Before the arrival of the apocalypse, it would cure the patients. She offered shares from the company. Bella accepted her request but refused the shares since she doesn't lack money. She prepared 100 barrels of space water for the production of the medicine.

She moved back to where the teens were. Everybody gasped when she popped on the sofa.

Looking at them, their eyes were shocked but twinkling with excitement. She chuckles, contented with their reaction, especially Danika who dives to her embrace.

"Sis, can I do that too?!" Bella looks at everybody waiting in anticipation. She sighed and explained the arrival of the apocalypse.

"So it means, it depends on luck." Devan asked, rubbing his chin. It would be great to have some ability, but hoped that peace would remain instead. If it's inevitable for them, who grew up training for combat since when they're young, fighting won't be a problem.

After some discussion, Dawn, Devan, Danika, and Desiree joined the construction. With their help, they work faster. It's amazing to see these rich kids wearing branded clothes now smothered with dirt, working diligently. You can't judge anybody with their appearance.

Ten minutes before midnight, the adults stopped working. It shocked the teens! Aside from Grandpa Tang and Grandma Meihui, the others jumped in the river. Looking at them enjoying themselves, they followed and jumped. Slowly, the fatigue vanished. When they saw their parents drinking, they copied too.

One by one they emerge from the river. Bella slowly removed the water from their bodies. Desiree's amazed observing the drops of water leaving their bodies. Dawn gasped when she noticed her skin changed! The teens inspected their bodies and looked at Bella. Everybody laughed, then she popped mirrors in front of them. My goodness! Their skin is firm but smooth and glowing. So that's how their grandparents got their youthful bodies! The girls embraced Bella and thanked her.

In the study, Grandpa continuously reminded them of its secrecy. The teens now understood why they rarely leave the villa these past days. Their youthful looks will cause a sensation. Weeks from now will be Bella and Dean's engagement party so slowly, they'll visit some friends in the circle. The news will surely spread about their miraculous encounter before the party.

After that, Dean led them to the underground base. It surprised them how well they hid it from them. All these years growing up in the villa, they suspected nothing. Devan fell in love with the place. The girls are also astonished to see the hydroponics farm that is now fully operating. Rows and columns of lamps and tubes with small plants can be seen. Under it are huge containers with different fish species swimming freely.

The next day, the teens are a little depressed. It's really hard to accept that their lives will change. They also worry about their friends. How to convince them to prepare without disclosing the secret? Bella's not worried coz they'll avoid the punishment. She also understood how they felt, but the earlier they accepted, the better.

Bella drove to the Tangs to drop off Adelle's grandparents. Then she and Adelle went to the warehouse and managed the deliveries. More beds, mattresses, and quilts were delivered. Then they went to her company's warehouses and moved the stuff in space. There are more winter clothes, rolls of fabrics, threads, and sewing machines.

They returned to the warehouse where more goods were delivered after that. Canned foods, noodles, and dried goods like mushrooms. Also, equipment like food dehydrators, food sealers, wheat milling machines, pasta makers, and oil extraction machines.

When Bella sees this, it intrigues her. If something happens to the machine, some pieces might not be available in the future if they break. Why not learn the old way of making things, like soap, toothpaste, oils, cheese, flour without relying on technology? When she told Adelle about it, she happily searched the net for possible lessons they could take. There are short courses like making natural soaps and toothpaste in the city. Some farms specialize in mushroom cultivation, cheese making, and olive oil extraction, but in Shoda Country.

Adele is very good at negotiation. The farms don't accept visitors, but she offered a price they couldn't ignore. Although they have to sign an agreement to conceal their secrets and not use it for commercial purposes, they agreed. It won't matter in the future anyway, plus Bella only wants to learn for personal use since she planted a lot of wheat and olives in space.

She believes in human strength and innovation. Bella felt hopeful for the future, so learning these could benefit future generations even if she's not sure if the resources will be available. It's a pity if this knowledge will disappear in history.

After the training, she told Dean her plans and agreed to accompany them to Shoda Country the day after tomorrow. After taking a shower, she and Uncle Desmond drove to the company to move the cement houses.

She's overjoyed seeing cute cement houses shaped like seashells! There are also snail shapes, gulf oyster drills, tulip shells, and shark eye moon. A door and small holes serve as windows.

At the back, she saw houses marked with numbers 1, 2, and 3. Uncle explained that these can be positioned like pyramids! The house with number 3 is the base, then the second is the middle and one is on the top. It saves space, and it looks like mini apartments! She happily moved everything in space. Dean saw her good mood, and they ate dinner with gusto.

With so many hands, they work even faster. Half work with the village and half build the bridge. Bella diverted the flow of water so the columns are drilled easily that serves as the foundation. They went to sleep satisfied with the results.

Today, Bella and Adelle took the DIY courses on how to make detergents, bath soaps, and toothpaste using natural agents. In the afternoon, they managed deliveries and then went to train at the villa. Dean took her to the garage and moved the customized hummers. One is colored black, and the other is camouflage. She's also surprised to see camouflage colored vehicles called MRAP. They looked cool and sturdy with the guns on the roof.

After that, they did the same routine after dinner. The next day, the three of them flew to Shoda Country. She's nervous because this is where her parents disappeared.

Shoda country is famous for its unique food and culture. It's one of the cleanest countries in the world. Home of the legendary samurai, the popular pink blossom tree, infamous hot springs, and perfect cone volcano.

When they landed, they went to eat in a restaurant famous for its raw seafood delicacy. After checking in the hotel, they went out to shop. They ate dinner at the hotel and rested after that. Adelle started saving DIY videos from the net and some random videos related to history, general knowledge, nature, etc.. Most of the electronic devices won't work anymore, but it may not be permanent. Humans are intelligent, surely will make history again.

The next day, they went to the olive farm where they learned how to extract oils by the old method, using stone wheels. Then they went to learn cheese making in the afternoon after having a luxurious lunch. After that, they went shopping and went back to the hotel.

The next day, they rented a large container truck and visited a mushroom farm where they studied how to grow and dry them. The three of them were like a sponge, absorbing everything. It also amazes Dean. He read about this in books, but it's a different feeling when it's actually done.

After the lesson, Bella bought a lot of spawn seeds of different species. As usual, they made several trips and almost emptied the stockroom. The owner was delighted with the purchase and gave them some rare types and books about growing them. He was doubtful at first. Most of his products are exported to Vittoria country, but when Dean showed him a document that it will be used to feed the soldiers and not for commercial use, he calmed down and talked a lot about his personal experience.

Maybe because of the space water, the three of them were able to memorize easily, absorbing everything he said. He also recommended some tourist spots, so since the lessons are finished, they would go the next day. When they got to the hotel, Bella entered the space and scattered the mushroom seeds in ideal spots all over the island.

After breakfast, they started the city tour and ate delicacies in food stalls. It took them an entire day because of the traffic, but they still enjoyed it.

The next day, Dean's subordinate Switch came with a car and took them to some tourist spots outside the city.

"You have a pleasant name." Adelle said politely.

"Not for a good reason though."

"Why?" Switch looked at the rear mirror and saw Dean nod.

"I got it during my early training days. We failed our group exam because I accidentally switched on the power while we were wearing our night goggles. The enemy group took the chance to beat us in our momentary blindness, thus failing the exam…."

"Oh sorry, but it's a cute name though." Bella smiled brightly. He blushed for a second but recovered quickly when he peeked at his Boss's glaring eyes.

"Where are we going, anyway?"
