He didn't pass close to any of the floating islands to avoid the Space Creatures as much as possible. Of course, there were Space Creatures in outer space too, but their numbers were smaller. Although he did bump in one or another, they weren't out of his league. Not to mention that he didn't fight but fled instead.

Finally, he stepped out of the chaotic space and was greeted by Jimage and everyone else.
