School Exchange II

After we both went down from the ring I was surrounded by the people from the kendo club.

"Arima-kun I suggest you to join us and become a member of the kendo club and help us aim for the championship of whole japan."

"No thank you, there's probably nothing for me to gain in that kind of competition senpai, unless you can find someone 1 or two level higher than Saeko just now."

I said that clearly to him, since it is better to be blunt to refuse him, of course I said that with a follow up.

"And Senpai rather then relying on me to win, it is better for you to nurture the other junior, a kendo competition doesn't only rely on one person to win."

"Well you are right in that, and it is not like we are very bad now, the school only has a male division, we don't have a girls kendo club, so the probability of meeting someone like Saeko is low."

"Right, and it will be counter productive if I join, you won't advance, but I can just swing by once in a while and spar with the guys in the kendo club."

Hearing me he immediately clutch my shoulder and said it is a promise, he will come to find me every month to have a special sparring session, hearing this I nodded and said I also have the intention to borrow the school dojo to train my swordsmanship.

He agree immediately and will report it to the teacher for that, after saying that I went to change my uniform and went back to watch the match between the both school alongside other students.

I saw Nagisa and Karma was there and went up to them.

"Yo Arima, I never knew you are that good at kendo."

"Well, my grandfather and Saeko grandfather is very close, so our family have close relation, to be exact even though I am a student of Kaito Busujima, he never taught me their family swordsmanship, our family have our own style."

"It is not very surprising if it was you Arima-kun." Nagisa said joining our conversation.

"I see, but I see that you never show a unique swords style Arima." Karma suddenly said.

"Of course I can't show that kind of technique, after all it is a technique that was created before the ban of swords carrying, so the style is created to kill someone, even using a bamboo sword it can injure someone."

Both of the nodded at my words.

While both of us talking some of the students were very noticeable with their gaze aiming at me.

"So that's why you are acting weird and saying I will know who your childhood friends are, that girl you fought is one of them right?" Karma said.

"Yeah, she is one of them." I nodded at him.

"How about you introduce her to me next time, I am interested in her since she seems to be very interesting, I want to try to fight her." Karma suddenly said.

"Karma I never thought you are a battle junkie."

"No, it is just a curiosity since she seems to be very strong it is rare for a girl to be like that, I suspect she can beat every one in the kendo club."

"Well it is not wrong."

"Both of you are really having fun and leaving me behind." Nagisa suddenly said.

"Well sorry Nagisa that I stole Karma from you." I said with a very teasing tone.

"You know I am right here right Arima." Karma suddenly smiled thretheningly.

I could only laugh seeing both Nagisa and Karma showing their anger.

While we were joking around the competition was going on it seems the our school only won by a small margin since we have the field as an advantage, after the competition both side bow to each other and paid respect, it seems their school will stay and join us studying for the day since they are far away and it will be a waste to just come and miss a day of school.

I only know this because when the recess over I saw Saeko standing on the podium and is introducing herself.

"It is nice to meet you, my name is Saeko Busujima, I will be joining this class for the whole day today, please take care of me." she bowed slightly showing the graceful movement of a traditional Japanese beauty.

"Saeko-kun, you can sit next to Arima-kun since it seems you know each other, you can also share books with him." the teacher said while asking the classmate who was sitting next to me to move to the empty seat behind.

Saeko nodded and sit next to me, she move her table to connect with mine since we will be sharing the textbook.

Since she just join the class I decide to help her get used to the pace of the class which is very fast for her.

The bell ring signaling it was the end of the school, most of the time when there's a change in the schedule, many guys and girls tried to talk to Saeko since it seems the guys in the class was charmed by her looks while the girls were interested in her because she was a rare female swords master.

The boys doesn't have many luck since they were intimidated by me, seeing that Saeko was very close with me, and the fact when on the second recess she was showing that she is not interested by another guy beside me, the victim was probably mentally scarred because of the event.

I decide to stand up and said "let's head back Saeko." 

"Ok, let's go to the vegtable market first after this, by the way what do you want to eat for dinner."

"I want to eat large steak."

"Ok then let's buy meat while we shop for the vegetable." She then hook my arms while also pulling me towards the school exit
