The Slime Wants *****

A slime?... What's a slime doing here? I never heard or seen slime in the anime. Must be one of those didn't get mentioned cause the creator never showed it type of deal.

"Naozumi what is that thing? It kinda looks cute" said Nyx.

"It's a slime but I never heard of slices being here"

Nyx reached out and poked it. This causes the slime to wobble like jello. One would think poking an unknown monster would be crazy but just a curious cat Nyx decided to keep poking it.

"Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke... Poke..." Nyx said repeatedly while poking the slime but the slime didn't seem to be annoyed by it.

"Stop poking that before it gets fed up and attacks you"

"This thing is harmless to me plus it's so cute I want to keep as a pet" said Nyx cheerfully

There was a reaction... There's is a white sphere inside the slime. It moved a bit as Nyx said that. Can It understand us?

Nyx Picked the slime up and started carrying it. It is rubbing against her breast and it turned a light shade of pink. Does it have emotions?

"Can you understand me?"

The slime wobbled up and down. So it can understand what we are saying ok next question.

"Are you our enemy?"

It wobbled side to side instead now.

"We're you sent here"

The slime wobbled up and down confirming it was sent here by whoever is staying here.

"Does the person who sent you have any bad intentions?"

It wobbled side to side telling me no. Ok so looks like we can avoid a fight for right now. I'll ask where to go.

"Can you show us where is your master?"

A blue tendril came out of the slime pointing to which direction to go. I didn't need them but it is just a test to see if the slime can lie and it didn't.

It led us to the basement but there are two more levels. It's pretty dark down here and I notice this place has mana lamps. Just pour mana into them and they will light up the room. So as went down I put a bit of mana in the lamps. The first two are pretty much empty rooms. However, the last one is a bathhouse. When we enter it we see no one but I can tell the person is there and seems like they know that I can find them.

Blue slime emerged from the main drain in the waterless bathhouse but this slime is way bigger than the one we met at the front door. When it fully emerged out it started taking a shape of a person but female. Finer details become more defined till a mature looking slime woman can be seen.

She opens her eyes revealing a dark blue sclera and neon blue irises. She stares at me and Nyx but most of her attention is on me. Most men looking at this slime woman would be attracted to her but my will over my desire leave a holy knight in awe.

"Who are you?"

She then pointed to her face where her mouth should be. It is a smooth surface at that spot. She then pointed towards my hand and I wondered what does she want with it. The slime woman walked up to me and grabbed my hand and inserted my index finger where her mouth should be. I expected her body to be cold but she is strangely warm instead. Then I notice that she is sucking my mana and supplying it to her core that's in her chest.

"Nao-Kun she's taking your mana!" yelled Nyx in surprise.

Nyx is about to walk over to separate the slime woman from me but I hold my hand out gesturing to her to stop.

"It's ok. The amount she is taking is nothing to me"

I noticed her body changed. She's more solid with no slime dripping off her, a mouth has been formed, and her hair isn't one anymore but in strands now. She stopped sucking my mana and Is about to release my finger but I stopped her.

"Keep going... Take even more mana while you are at it"

She formed eyebrows and they raised in surprise at my words. I can tell she is worried ill go into mind down by the amount she took but that would be for a normal person. I am nowhere near normal.

She starts sucking more mana than before and started channeling mana into my finger. This act surprised her and caused her to jolt and blue blush appeared on her face. That's when I noticed her skin is now changing colors and look more human. Her hair has now turned black and reaches down to her knees. When she opened her eyes, her sclera wasn't a dark blue anymore but white while her irises are now a normal blue.

When the change is fully done she broke away from my finger gasping for air blushing. She stepped back and I immediately noticed that she now has nipples on her C cup breast. She even now has a vagina when I looked at her crotch.

"W-What are you?" the naked woman before said.

"You should introduce yourself before we do"

She simply nodded and started to introduce herself.

"My name is Alissa Faren, I was a part of the Thoth Familia"

"Thoth?" said Nyx and I at the same time.

"It was a hundred thirty years ago when we were disbanded and Thoth-Sama got sent back to heaven" Explained Alissa

"What happened?" Nyx asked.

Alissa's expression turned cold as ice as she released a bit of killing intent but not directed no one.

"Apollo..." she says with a bit of anger in her voice.

Apollo? What would he gain from bringing down her familia?

"You're probably wondering why Apollo did it. He was jealous of Thoth-Sama. He didn't like that he had a similar divinity to him. Plus Thoth-Sama is more knowledgeable and good looking than he is. We weren't a fighting type of familia. Only researchers and a handful of fighters. Apollo one saw an opportunity to destroy us and he acted" explained Alissa.

Anyone can tell that this woman really hates Apollo. Maybe I can use this to have her join me. To think our first recruit would be a slime lady.

"I need to ask this. Were you always this way or were you human?"

"I was human... I experimented on my own body and soul to change myself into a rare dungeon monster that Thoth-Sama called slime" Alissa responded.

I look towards Nyx but she didn't even seem to care. A little interested in what she said but didn't care about that soul part.

(Nyx Pov)

I was worried about Naozumi when this monster girl sucked all that mana out of him but he is fine. It surprised me when she turned into a normal looking human. I should ask her about the monster I'm cradling right now and can I keep it.

Listening to her story on what happened to her didn't really make me care about her. I don't care for the past since there is no changing that. I am a bit interested in what she did to her soul. She does realize that she corrupted it and won't enter heaven or the reincarnation cycle. I heard from my mother that a lot of gods don't like soul tampering at all. Even some of my sisters and brothers don't like it. When it comes to me however I don't care since that's not my jurisdiction. I only help mother protect this universe and that's it.

Nao-Kun looked at me probably expecting some sort of reaction to her tampering with her soul but again I don't care. He looked away and started asking more questions.

"Tell us more what happened?" asked Nao-Kun.

"Apollo started making things hard for us and challenged us to a war game and we lost horribly. Thoth-Sama had to hand over all his familia members, resources, research, and Thoth-Sama must return to heaven. Just before the war game, Thoth-Sama knocked me out and put me in his secret research lab that's under this bathhouse. There I woke up and heard everything that happened from the listening magic Thoth-Sama created from the Gloating Apollo familia members that we're ram sacking this place all those years ago.

Apollo drove everyone in my familia out of the city and kept all the decent looking women as playthings. He was especially looking for me since I am a beauty, Thoth-Sama's captain, and head researcher. Not wanting to go in his hands I hid 15 years in the research lab. My rations were running low and all the monsters in the research lab had died all except the slime. It hit me that the slime never changed due to it sucking the mana from out the air. I realized I could live forever and take my revenge without the need for food or sleep stopping me. All I had to do is just wait till the time is right. So I experiment on my body and soul that took 5 years to do. Then it took 10 years for me to get used to my new body" Alissa explained.

That perfectly lines up with the girl that sold us the house story about everyone getting chased out 100 years ago.

"At that point, you chased out whoever stayed in the house correct?" said Nao-Kun

"Yes, that is true. Due to the magic formations around the lab, they hid my presence and the slime presences while I was human. The only problem I would have then is hiding my soul since some gods can see or sense souls. So I inscribe a magic formation around my soul that lets me manipulate can my soul be seen or not since one day I knew I had to leave this house. Plus I used 2 other formations, one to make my soul look like a normal human, and the other to hide all the formations on my soul.

Now it's my turn to ask questions. What are you?" Allisa asked Nao-Kun?

"I'm a hundred percent human with some overpowered blessings granted by Nyx over here" explained Nao-Kun.

Alissa looked at me shocked that I'm a goddess.

"You're a Goddess!? I never would have expected that since I sense no divinity from you with my monster senses but how did you see me? Even that person on top of the tower couldn't see me"

"I'm not an ordinary Goddess. I'm a Primordial God. A existence above the gods you know"

"...That explains you but how can he sense me" Alissa said while pointing to Nao-Kun.

"I have a skill that lets me sense and everything around me no matter who or what tries to hide something or someone" replied Nao-Kun.

"Then how did you bump into Ottar? You must have been noticed him?"

"You see that skill of mine is a passive skill so it's always active. I how would you feel if you heard every single conversation of 100+ people around you. I limited the skill to the bare minimum so I wouldn't get a migraine even with my superior brain. I was just unlucky that Ottar was there at the time" explained Nao-Kun.

"What a terrifying skill to have... No one can escape you unless they can move outside the range of that skill..." said Alissa.

"Now here comes my final question for you"

Her attention turns back to me and she is wondering what will I ask.

"Would you like to join my familia?"

"What, are you sure? I'm a monster plus aren't you going to report me for forbidden soul magic?" Alissa, surprised by my words.

"You being half monster I don't care about and you messing with your soul I don't care about since that's not my job to care"

She closed her eyes thinking about my offer then nodded her head.

"I'll join in one condition... He has to help me with the final research project regarding my body" Alissa responded.

"Agreed"

"What? You didn't even consult me on this" said a bit upset.

"Don't worry this will not cost and harm you anyway. I'm the only one that will be affected by this. You will most likely enjoy it" explained Alissa.

"Fine I'll help you" said Nao-Kun.

"Oh yeah, how rude of us. We haven't told you our names. My name is The Primordial Goddess Of The Night Nyx and this here is Naozumi Ito. My captain and the only member of my familia.

I'll be going outside to enjoy the night sky while you two do what you gotta do"

I walk away from them and just as I get to the top basement floor.

"You want what!" Nao-Kun yelled with a surprised voice.

I wonder what she asked to make him shout like that? Oh well, I limited my hearing so I can hear it from him. I'm gonna tease him so much when I hear it.
