Once upon a time there was a big Hole in the world.
It was as if the mouth of the planet had opened wide. This hole had existed long before mankind had discovered it for itself.
No one knew how it got there.
The Hole continually gave birth to evil creatures, apparently a gateway to some monstrous realm or to the very hell of the world.
Horrible creatures of all shapes and sizes emerged from within, taking over the forests, the mountains, the valleys, the oceans, and the skies of the Earth.
The monstrous conquest spread throughout the domains.
All the surface races put their differences aside to regain their dignity, regain control of the world and take revenge on their fallen kin. The different species came together for a great counterattack.
The newly emerged heroes led the attack as all the peoples fought a war of attrition against the invading monsters until the beasts were forced back to the Hole from whence they came.
Inside the Hole was a completely different world. It was a realm divided into many levels, an underground dungeon.
Illuminated by strange light sources in the absence of sunlight, previously unseen plant species and previously discovered minerals were found throughout the labyrinth.
Whether it was these new discoveries or the monsters that lived off the power of the magic stones in their chests, the dungeon was filled with the unknown.
Humans and demi-humans built a tower over the Hole to serve as a 'lid' to keep the monsters from coming out above ground causing chaos and agony throughout the world.
At the same time, the humans couldn't help but wonder what was at the bottom of the Hole.
It wasn't long before eccentric people, who thought the vast underground frontier needed to be fully explored, began to appear.
Eventually, these people would be known as "Adventurers".
For them, the call of the unknown was irresistible.
"You know, it's been a while since I've seen the Tower of Babel up close"
"I don't care, move"
"Hm"
Riku and Bete had arrived at the Tower of Babel, also known as the dungeon top.
As usual Bete refused any talk as he wished to concentrate on the dungeon and not on friendships.
The only reason Bete put up with Riku was because of the tenacity she had shown since he had met her.
She would be frightened by many things, but then, for some strange reason, she would understand the movements of others just by looking at them and try to create situations that favored her. This was coming along well but the moment she can't do that it's going to go very badly.
Still none of that mattered to Bete. He wanted to see if she would become strong or just be a nuisance like all the weaklings in the Family. He wanted to know about that magic and how much the girl could do.
"Where is the entrance to the dungeon?"
"Under the tower" Bete replied indifferently " The first floors are for wimps, when you get stronger you are allowed to go down to the other floors"
"Is it easy to move up the status?"
Bete snorted in amusement "It's easier to die in the dungeon than to get a raise in stats" he looked at Riku "You'll show me if you're worthy of being in the Family"
"Hey!" Riku frowned "Loki accept me and if I don't show advancement in combat then I will become an erudite if it's necessary"
"Pfff" Bete scoffed "It's better than getting in the way in the dungeon"
"Hm. If that happens in the future I'll see you looking for me to give you useful information or in other cases items for the dungeon" Riku said amused as she saw Bete's eyebrow twitch.
It's easy for her to pick on Bete, but it's just as easy to get beaten up by him, something Riku doesn't want to happen.
Although if Riku wants to learn to fight she will have to take the blows of the others, something she will have to resist.
"There it is. Get your stuff ready, I won't save your ass if you put yourself in danger"
"At least be nice" Riku replied annoyed by Bete's way of talking. There are times when she thinks he really will let her die and that's not right for her.
The hustle and bustle of adventurers was normal in this area, several guild advisors were walking around here and likewise there were adventurers with elephant masks protecting in specific places.
Riku thought about who the eccentric God would be to do that.
She would be surprised to meet him.
After crossing an extremely wide tunnel called 'Start of the Road', a large hole appeared that linked to the ground.
The height was about 10 meters, the diameter was about the same length, its shape was similar to a round cylinder. Inside the round cylinder, there were gentle stairs, causing it to form a large spiral.
Several adventurers were moving in and out of the dungeon via the stairs. Bete and Riku moved forward and crossed the first stairs to reach the entrance of the unknown. Their view widened and the smell of the dungeon entered through their nostrils.
A large number of the walls that make up the Tower of Babel were built over the dungeon.
They arrived at a wide-open space with a large hole in the center. It was unjustifiably wide, to say that it can hold thousands of adventurers was not an exaggeration, and even after all that, there would still be additional space left.
It was built to have the atmosphere of a temple, making it so that it didn't feel like there was a den of monsters directly underneath it, how could one say, it was filled with a majestic atmosphere.
One could say that this place was similar to the places where they would pay homage to the Gods, of course if other people believed it. This great hall is a great condensation of craftsmanship.
The great hall was blue and white for the most part, the surroundings were filled with adventurers' names carved in black rock slates, long thick pillars separated the numerous pieces of furniture that were impossible to count.
If someone looks up they can witness the ceiling being filled by the blue sky, there was no work that could represent the sky in a more complex way than this one.
This place was a safe zone even if it was the entrance to the dungeon, the monsters could move and could reach the entrance, but with the movement of the adventurers at all times they couldn't even stay alive for long even in their own birth zone.
"Let's get going, there' s no time to waste"
"Yes"
They came in.
xxxxx
The first floor of the dungeon.
The sky was impossible to see from anywhere, the only light available was that generated by the dungeon's natural plants and rocks.
Despite being underground, phosphorescence illuminated the area. The faint blue walls and ceiling indicated that this was the entrance to the labyrinth.
This was the first floor of the dungeon, on the upper levels.
Since it was still early in the morning the adventurers were scarce at the moment giving a good place to set out to kill monsters.
"Alright listen" Bete spoke catching Riku's attention as they both stopped "In this place the only thing that matters is surviving, if you are weak you will die so you have to become strong"
"It's a way of saying that if I don't work hard, it's just not my job"
"Shut up and listen" Bete growled "That old hag told me she would kill me if I let anything happen to you in the dungeon"
"I thought you didn't like following orders" Riku said in confusion, all she had seen from Bete was his disrespect.
"She's strong so I respect her. Anyway, from here you start, I'll be behind you and don't expect me to help you in your fights"
"Alright" Riku said as she pulled the knife out of its sheath and eyed it a bit then took it in her right hand and nodded decisively.
She walked a bit looking around with total distrust of anything she saw. She was going at a slow pace, but that was better than nothing at the moment.
Bete watched from afar with clear irritation, the girl played with him and 'forced' him to join her in the dungeon. He wouldn't admit it but since he found out that Riku has magic he's interested to know more about it and wants to witness if she'll become strong or just an ordinary person.
Bete hates weak people, especially weak women.
It brings back memories that disgust him to the core of his being.
The moment Riku had been waiting for arrived.
"Graaa"
In the distance she saw him.
A Goblin.
One of the native monsters on the first floor and a common low-level creature for adventurers just starting out to face first in the dungeon.
The Goblin was alone in the dungeon corridor. There were no other monsters near the place, it almost seemed like a perfect situation, something very unusual.
Riku didn't care what happened, she just watched the enemy and thought about her next move. She couldn't just dart about idly. She had to think of her next action and react to the Goblin's next attacks.
"Bete, What do you recommend me to do?"
" Kill it"
"Yeah, th- Wait what? What was that?" Riku turned her gaze in confusion to Bete who was leaning against the dungeon wall.
"Just kill it and that's it" Bete growled "You wanted me to be your teacher so that's my teaching" he snorted with disdain "Don't tell me you can't even do that rabbit"
Riku looked at him in disbelief, but after a few moments she ignored Bete's smirk and focused on the monster in front of her.
Ignoring any discomfort from her surroundings Riku took a deep breath to lighten her nerves and called out to the monster.
"Hey green thing! You suck!"
A silly and childish insult, but Riku's idea was first to attract attention and then attack, as the enemy is more annoyed their attacks will become more predictable and that way she can read the moves and create a counterattack.
"Graa!"
The Goblin ran to her.
Keeping calm Riku just sighed and held in a reverse grip the knife to give some quick attacks, this is the best in Riku's opinion since she has never used a knife to attack people or in this case monsters.
"Graa!"
With the Goblin's jump Riku prepared herself and when the monster was close to her she dodged with a step to the right causing the Goblin to attack in the air.
With one move Riku took the knife and attacked the most delicate part of the enemy's body, its head. With her knife she swung it from above and brought it down with all her might towards the Goblin's head.
The knife and the force were enough to kill it as the Goblin froze and fell to the ground with a thud.
She stared at the bloodied knife and then looked at the Goblin on the ground and stabbed him in the chest. When she least expected it, the Goblin exploded into motes of dust leaving behind a magic stone.
"Bete, monsters are supposed to have a core and the magic stone is for them the core and for us a material"
"Hm" he just hummed disinterested in Riku and her actions "You're only carrying one Goblin, who knew you stabbed him in the head, heh"
"I don't know how monsters fight so I need to dodge and attack at all times" she refuted concentrating on the movements of the Goblin she killed.
It had only been one attack, but that was enough for her.
It could be the influence of her old way of being. The laws fixed the way citizens had to behave in society, but there was always dissent in it.
When she used to live in her hometown Riku had a fixed thought, if a thief tried to kill her then she would kill the thief. A strange way of thinking, but for Riku her life was more important than that of a stranger.
For that reason she learned some sensitive parts where it is possible to hurt a person more, to defend herself and with that she carries a mentality for the rest of her life, 'if they attack me then I can attack them in the same way without resentment'
She didn't care about the integrity of others, only her own and those important to her.
The only thing she cared about was her own life and anyone who tried to kill her then they would get the same treatment no matter how much other people hated her. Riku didn't care about people seeing her for a fake personality.
* Crack *
A sound brought Riku out of her stupor and she witnessed the birth of dungeon monsters through the walls.
"That's strange"
There was no exact way to tell what their origin was. In video games, monsters had been around for a long time, and when you eliminated them some no longer appeared and others only appeared because of the game's programming.
This is life and here everything should have a sense of why or how, or simply exists because it does.
"Get ready" Bete said making Riku look at the monsters with a bit of fear "They are three Goblins, they will attack at the same time so either run or fight, your choice"
"Tch, I know"
"Wrag!"
The Goblins made a guttural sound and charged towards Riku at the same time.
Even though Riku is brave she's a little scared, she's only faced one, but three of them will be different. She crouched down and picked up a stone quickly.
"Haa!"
When she noticed the monsters Riku threw the stone at a Goblin's face making it grunt in pain and cover its eye which had been the stone's destination.
She grabbed her knife with both hands and lunged like a lunge at the Goblin's chest, hitting the target.
"Graa!"
"Haa-! Wh-what?"
When Riku noticed the second Goblin she tried to pull the knife out of the dead Goblin's chest but it got stuck and she didn't have enough strength to pull it out so the Goblin threw a scratch at her.
"Wrag!"
"Agh!"
Of course Riku suffered a cut on her shoulder making her scream in pain, after that she put down the knife and jumped backwards to dodge the Goblin.
Bete watched everything happen with amusement, as Riku suffered for a 'miserable Goblin' as he would call it. It was barely their second fight and she already suffered damage.
"Are you going to give up already?" Bete snorted disdainfully "It's not to be expected of you"
Riku just glared at him with hatred and in her little cloud of judgement she clenched her fists and looked at the Goblin watching as his other stunned companion returned to fight.
"Come on, asshole!"
She shouted in inspiration and charged towards them. The monsters did the same and both sides met.
Riku swept across the ground kicking the foot of one Goblin and grabbed the foot of the other to knock it off balance and throw it away.
"Now you're talking!"
Riku grabbed the head of the Goblin she had knocked off balance with both hands and slammed it into the ground repeatedly. When she saw the other Goblin try to get up she let go of the dying Goblin and leapt at the other one.
She kicked him in the head and stood on top of him to hit him repeatedly in the head with her fists.
Both Goblins were left on the ground with their faces twisted and bloody from Riku's blows.
Carefully she got up and went for the Goblin who had the knife embedded in his chest. When she withdrew the knife with all her might the Goblin disappeared in motes of dust and walked towards the other two.
With an emotionless face she slashed at the two Goblins killing them and likewise causing them to disappear into dust.
Bete, on the other hand, was stunned by what happened.
Bete witnessed how Riku learned that her knife cannot always be her only weapon and how she learned the hard way by receiving an attack on her shoulder.
After that Bete scoffed and watched as Riku, the girl who happily waited on others and wanted to meet friends, angrily and brutally attacked the Goblins.
Smashing one Goblin's face into the ground and the other with her fists and then stabbing them emotionlessly.
"Bete"
"Hm"
Bete raised an unperturbed eyebrow at what happened since he had seen worse things in the dungeon and on the surface.
The girl was still not smiling and kept her face serious, her face was full of blood splashes, her fists were also stained and her clothes were already dirty from the fight.
"Where can I find more monsters?"
Bete smiled arrogantly and excitedly "Follow me, I want to see what you'll do with more monsters"
Riku nodded as she followed Bete deeper into the dungeon without changing her excitement.
She held the knife tightly even as she remembered how easily she could have died.
She remembered how helpless she felt against that remnant of Evilus and for a moment she felt the same when she was harmed by the Goblins and with Bete's taunting.
For that reason she became enraged and charged with everything she had, if her weapon was no good then she would smash them with her fists.
She would go on and become strong.

The dungeon.
This place is the only dungeon that exists in the world. It has existed in the lower world since long before the gods descended from heaven.
There are some who say that the lowest floor in the dungeon leads to hell or the demon world. The gods seemed to know about it, but they don't seem to be willing to say so.
'A dungeon is a dungeon. A place where one thing follows another'
It is said that ere was a famous saying of the gods.
How much do they like the Dungeon?
The words are different between each deity, but the best known should be, "The Dungeon is alive". It contradicts itself as there are no walls attacking adventurers and the terrain of the upper floors does not change.
As proof of that, the adventurers could explore and create a map of the floor, which could be sold to the Guild, though there was one main problem with those words.
As an adventurer goes further down the dungeon the area will increase in size in unimaginable ways, therefore, it is said that there are floors that still do not have a complete map to this day.
The meaning of "is alive" means that the dungeon would repair itself, structures that were destroyed in the dungeon would automatically repair themselves.
There is a story about the dungeon: it is said that it was built by an unknown material, may it be of high or low class like the Magic Stones. Only the construction of the Dungeon until now was still not understood by scholars, it was stopped at the point of the unknown.
The material the dungeon was made of was similar to Magic Stone, even if sunlight could not enter the dungeon, it was still very bright. Especially the first floor, the area that could be considered as the ceiling also emitted phosphorescence, so no matter what time it was, it was bright to an absurd level.
Monsters are born in the Dungeon.
It may sound strange, but they were crawling from the dungeon walls, as if they were newborn animals cracking their shells. Many adventurers had witnessed such a scene.
That was the reason why no matter how many monsters were hunted by the adventurers, they still seemed endless no matter how much time passed.
The detail of that was that each floor could only produce a certain number of monsters. There were times when monsters from higher floors would go to a deeper floor, yet usually the monsters would stay on their respective floor.
The rule was basically: the lower the floor, the stronger the monster.
The location connecting the upper and lower floors sometimes had stairs, sometimes steep slopes, in short, there were a lot of possibilities.
But no matter how many possibilities there were, there was no such absurd thing as instantaneous movement.
Neither was the use of logic, because not even the Gods could do such a thing. Monsters were the same, the only thing they could rely on to move in the Dungeon was their own legs.
The management authority is the Guild. It was created early during the ancient times. It is also said that the creation of this was mainly because of the benefits that could be obtained from the dungeon.
The dungeon is alive and if anyone thinks it is easy to venture into it then they will only die being forgotten in the darkness.
"Haa!"
"Wragh!"
"Die!"
"Ugh!"
Riku was still fighting.
It had been several hours since she started venturing into the first floor, but after her second fight she lost track of time and all she could think about was killing the monsters.
Riku had a hatred she didn't know herself. It came from the past and tormented her a bit now in the present. That didn't matter much since she focused that hatred on the one who deserved it and not on other people.
Running among the monsters she had seen their movements and had learned them during the fights she had.
She tilted her head to the right and let a Goblin's claws pass by her head and then grabbed the Goblin's arm and slashed it off. Riku found the body to be thin and easy to cut.
The Goblin screamed in pain while another one threw him to another side replacing him, in that moment Riku took the arm from the cut side and used it as a bat with the Goblin hitting him multiple times and then using the knife killing him on the spot.
Riku used everything at her disposal to eliminate her enemies.
She used punches, kicks, scratches, headbutts, rocks, bladed weapons, the dungeon itself and the enemies against themselves. The only thing that mattered was to survive and the monsters had no conscience so it didn't matter much to be nice to them.
With force she lashed out at any Goblin that came, if it was one she took them out with ease and if they came in groups she used many moves to kill them effectively.
Letting loose a kick she pushes a Goblin bursting the arrival of others and stabbing them in their chest killing them, instantly she ducked letting an attack coming from her left hit the air.
Riku swung the knife upwards causing a cut from the bottom of the monster to its face eliminating it on the spot.
After several moments the dungeon passageway was littered with monster corpses and magical stones likewise adorned the place giving a peculiar glow to the scene.
"Fuuu"
Letting out a sigh Riku stretched her body which was already tired after several fights against many Goblins.
Some will say that since they are just simple Goblins being the weakest monsters in the dungeon it should have been easy, on the contrary it was hard for Riku.
She is still nine years old. That's not a right age for someone to go into the dungeon and neither to grow up that way, that's what others think but for Riku she wanted strength and she would get it no matter what.
*Crack*
Again Riku turned her head towards the sound that indicated the birth of new monsters. Three more Goblins join the party.
Riku instantly ran without letting the monsters check their surroundings and charged at one aiming straight for the chest and slashing the magic stone killing it into specks of dust.
The other two roared in anger at the girl and charged. Riku just threw a punch to the face of one of them and swung her knife in different directions while dodging the monsters' blows.
Instead of a fight it looked like a pitched battle, Riku showed no grace just lashed out hard and concisely at the monsters, she didn't want to waste energy so she waited for the best hits even in her battle disorder.
"E-Eh?"
At the time she didn't know what was going on.
Her leg was unresponsive.
She fell to the ground while using her hands to avoid a big hit.
Riku let go of what she was holding to avoid hurting herself as she tried to hold the ground firmly during her fall. Her knife was dropped without her knowing it.
The surviving Goblin who was full of wounds ran towards her full of uncontrolled rage as she watched what was happening.
She couldn't move.
She was very tired after so long and her leg was the first thing to stop responding to the lack of rest.
"Wraghh!"
The monster screamed as it lunged towards her and Riku just raised her hands trying to wait if she could create a counterattack or will receive a deep cut.
She couldn't dodge, she could either receive it or counterattack, but she would still be seriously damaged.
At that time it happened.
*PAM*
*FOSHH*
*CRACK*
"What?"
She didn't see what happened.
No.
She couldn't see what happened.
In that instant, only a blur had passed and after that the Goblin hit the dungeon wall with a great roar creating a crater in the wall causing the monster to disappear and leaving behind a glowing magic stone.
"Tch, stupid"
"Ah"
She understood.
In front of her stood Bete with his leg outstretched laxly towards the place where the Goblin had died.
After a while in the dungeon Riku had forgotten about Bete and only concentrated on killing the monsters attacking her.
Even Bete went to deeper floors in boredom of watching the rabbit fighting other weak creatures. His thought was that 'if I can't make something better I'm going to get something for myself'.
It could be known thanks to the bag that Bete had tied around his waist which looked full of objects.
"You look like shit" Bete looked at her with amusement "To think that only until the end you'd lose again"
Riku looked at him gratefully and her face showed relief, she let out a sigh and got up with difficulty after having taken her knife.
"By the way" Bete called her curiously making Riku quickly turn her head towards him "What did you say when you fought the monsters?"
"What do you mean?"
"The stupid shit you were yelling when you were fighting" Bete explained "You were speaking in an unknown language, What the fuck was that?"
"..."
Riku didn't answer as she stared into nothingness and thought about Bete's words. She probably used her old language as she hurled curses left and right at any Goblin that approached her.
She blushed as she looked down at the ground, she hadn't spoken like that since she started college, it was a good thing Bete didn't understand her very peculiar language.
"It was nothing" she hissed innocently as she rolled her eyes.
"Hm, I see" Bete said not trusting Riku's words "It was boring watching you take out those monsters so I went to look for some fighting on deeper floors" Bete looked at the wall "The monsters won't show up now that the dungeon was damaged"
"Hey, how's that?"
"I thought you already knew with all that stuff with your research "Bete looked at her as Riku turned away then denied, Bete snorted "The dungeon regenerates and until it is finished the monsters will not appear"
"Oh, I understand" after letting out a sigh she looked at him hopefully "Are we done?"
"Heh, I've wanted to leave for a long time" Bete explained annoyed "I'm only here because that old hag made me take care of you and your stupid favor" she was relieved at that "Can you move?"
"Yes..." she waved her arms and feet, but they moved slowly because of the wounds and numbness "Not much, but I can walk"
"Tch" Bete gritted his teeth and pulled something out of a bag he had on his waist "Take this"
Riku watched as Bete threw something towards her and waved her hands in surprise trying to catch the object in midair. When she got it she saw that it was a recovery potion.
She looked at the werewolf but he refused to look at her and preferred to stare into the darkness of the dungeon corridors so she just smiled gratefully and took it into her mouth to recover.
When she did Riku felt a relief overflow throughout her body. The wounds she had on her arms, face, legs, and torso brightened as the cuts disappeared, even the bruises and much of the pain she had.
"What quality was the potion?"
"I don't care to tell you" Riku frowned but she didn't care much "We're leaving"
"Already?"
"You were down here long enough" Bete rebutted casually "That woman told me I shouldn't keep you in the dungeon too long"
"But even so, I can still go on" Riku protested she still wanted to keep punching monsters, How hard is it to become strong?
"Tch, you'll fall at some point" she tilted her head uncomprehending "What I gave you only got your body back" Bete pointed a finger at her "Mental exhaustion will finish you off, we're leaving"
She wanted to speak but before saying anything she simply closed her mouth and nodded and then followed Bete to the surface.
Riku's first foray into the dungeon was over.
xxxxx
"So"
"Yes?"
"What was your first time in the dungeon like?"
"It was normal for me" Riku looked at Bete "I don't know what he thinks about me"
"Hm" Riveria looked at Bete who remained nonchalant about the situation "I thought I told you to take care of Riku in the dungeon"
"Tch, it was her fault" Bete said angrily while Riku raised an eyebrow "She went crazy with the monsters"
"Oh" Loki narrowed her eyes at Riku causing her to look away "Apparently there are several things to teach you" Riku nodded without looking at her as she appraised the wall.
"No need to bother her" Finn spoke from his desk causing Riku to raise her face "How was it that you took out the monsters?"
"With my knife and several punches and kicks" she said firmly.
"Oh, did you use your strength?" Gareth asked and Riku smiled as she raised her arm and patted her muscle remarking that she wasn't weak "Gajajaja, it would have been interesting to see you beat up the monsters"
"Then you're free Riku" Finn said for Riku to take a break.
"Thank you very much" she walked towards the door and said goodbye to the people left inside "See you later"
After Riku left the executives exchanged glances and Bete became even more irritated seeing that she still had to explain several things.
"So... How was she in the dungeon Bete? How did she end up like that?"
Loki changed her lax demeanor and took the matter seriously. Riku arrived with several parts of her clothes destroyed and full of dried blood.
Bete didn't bother to explain when they arrived at the mansion and Riku didn't want to explain much since she wanted to take a break after all she had done.
"She did whatever came to her mind" Bete spat with annoyance "All she was thinking about was surviving and killing monsters, I guess she took my words too literally"
"What do you mean?" Riveria asked with a raised eyebrow "From the behavior she displayed I don't think Riku would act like that"
Bete snorted with amusement "Think what you want. That brat barely knew how to fight. In her second fight she got hurt in the shoulder and her behavior changed"
"Could you explain?" Finn asked as he intertwined his fingers and placed his chin on his hands that were resting on the desk.
"When she fought she used everything she could get her hands on, from stones, her body and even the monsters themselves"
"The monsters?"
"She uses the parts she dismembered herself as weapons to strike other monsters"
Gareth nodded as he thought about how the girl used brutality and eliminated other monsters with the parts and continued to fight, spilling blood in her every step.
"How did she do in combat?" Finn asked with curiosity and interest, that piece of information being the most important.
"She adapts to whatever comes her way"
"How so?" Riveria was still hesitating but she wanted to know more "What was she doing?"
"If it was just one monster she would fight one on one, but if there were several she would use everything she could and memorize the enemy's attacks and moves to use them to her advantage"
They all kept silent and thought about Bete's words. They remembered that some time ago the same thing happened with a 7 year old girl and now they had a 9 year old girl.
"Well, there's nothing more we can do" Loki spoke jovially "You're free Bete, your help with Riku is appreciated"
"Tch, whatever"
With Bete's departure the executives and the Deity could give their opinions to each other.
"I guess we can think that she has something bothering her to change her attitude" Riveria said still thinking that Riku is someone who doesn't seem at first glance.
"There are a lot of things to think about her" Finn spoke leaning back in his seat "When I went to pick her up I talked to her. Riku didn't show a lot of aspirations, but she really wants to be someone who could overcome whatever is put in front of her"
"In other words Riku seeks strength to defend herself" Gareth explained receiving a nod from Finn "That explains a lot about her"
"I guess we'll have to think of her as a much more mature Ais" Riveria said with a sigh "We'll have to deny her entry until she learns to control herself"
"No" Loki said giddily making Riveria look at her "Riku doesn't remember her past and is afraid of the future" She explained for the others understanding "She studies hard and learns everything she can to use it to her advantage"
"That reminds me" Riveria spoke catching Loki's attention "You said you talked to her a bit in the morning" she received a nod from Loki "You told us that Riku only remembers a woman who took care of her when she was much younger"
Riveria wanted to think that it had been some random person who took care of Riku in her childhood, but the magic she had on her back was a sign of how wrong she could be with her thoughts.
"We have to take it easy" Finn said in a firm tone that didn't let anyone refute his words "She's not Ais so we can't think about what happened a while ago" Finn sighed "With what Bete told us that proves that she's very easy to influence, but at the same time she's not"
"A bit strange really" Gareth said as he stroked his beard "I could teach her to use her strength properly"
"Good" Loki nodded with a suspicious smile "Since Finn has things to accomplish as the captain at some point that needs to be done Gareth or Riveria will take it upon themselves to guide her on her way"
"The magic she has doesn't need a chant as only the word serves for her to release her magic" Riveria compared Riku's magic to hers, she still remembers the humiliation she received from that woman.
"All that aside there are things to do, aren't there?"
They all nodded and began their activities of great importance.
Riku will continue to do her thing.
She will live and discover everything.
Thanks for reading.
