Chapter 16

As Lucien and his PA were heading downstairs, Lucien noticed Tia having her lunch with Clara.

He thought of heading towards her and saying hello to her. But he thought maybe she will get awkward because they are not even that close.

Lucien told his PA to pay the bill of Tia and Clara , and headed towards his car.

Soon after, Tia asked the waiter to bring the bill. But the waiter told them that someone has already paid it.

Tia asked him who had paid the bill for them, The waiter gave her a note 📝 , It was Lucien who had paid the bill.

She was shocked to see that Lucien has already paid the bill. But she couldn't understand when did he saw her, and didn't even met her.

After they got out of the restaurant, while Clara was continuously staring at Tia.

"Why are you staring at me?". Tia asked.

"Tell me who was the one that paid our bill? , is he your admirer?. Clara asked.

"No, no. His name is Lucien. He is Eric's friend, remember the one who came at the club?!." Tia said.

"So do you like him?" Clara asked curiously.

"No, its not like that but I have never felt something like this before!." Tia said.

Clara understood that her best friend is in love. she thought in her mind no matter what she will always support her.

In the evening, Clara dropped Tia at her mansion. Tia was very tired full day because of shopping and all. But she was also a bit upset because of what happened in the shoe's shop.

While resting on her comfy bed, she suddenly remembered she hasn't thanked Lucien yet.

She quickly got up and searched the card Lucien had given her. She was thinking whether to call him or message him. She thought instead of messaging she should call and directly say thank you to him.
