Due to his personality or should I say lack thereof?” “Wait! If I remember correctly, he got killed by Sophia and Reinhard during the mid-chapters of the third game...” “Oh, fvck!...” How will this university graduate merged with the super antagonist change the course of destiny? Chapter 56: picking up on the pieces

Markus's POV:

After we left the palace I escorted Sophia back to the carriage where Syph sensei was waiting for us.

As expected sensei hugged Sophia tightly and told her how worried she was and how she's glad that Sophia is safe.

She also said something to me too or more accurately she shouted at me (probably b*tching about how I broke protocol and acted rashly blah blah blah…) but frankly speaking, there were better things that I would rather have occupying my mind so I didn't really pay attention to her words (I was always a master of ignoring things I didn't like, even in my past life).

I secretly stashed the loot I stole from Executor inside of the Rosewood carriage and took off saying that I had to help in the cleaning up the aftermath of the attack.
