Chapter 35: assassination, the art of expiring mortal lives (1)
In a dark 40-40-30 (length, width and height) room located in the basement of one of the assassin guild's bases sat a simple wooden table with two chairs placed on opposing sides, facing each other.
On one side of the table was a man who seemed like he was probably in his 30s for anyone else looking but Markus already deduced his exact age to be 26 the moment he met him since Markus was also expertly trained to be a detective if necessary. He was heavily wrapped in clothes from head to toe making it seem like he was 162 when in reality the man's real height was 158, his face was indiscernible due to being his head being wrapped in cloth apart from his eyes which had a masquerade mask on it but Markus has been able to figure out that he had a scar that ran down to his neck from his chin after the first time he interacted with this man.
